Short LinkedIn Friday video (transcript) presenting three "non-negotiables" for successful job searches: 1) completely fill out all parts of applications (including cover letters), 2) leverage personal/professional connections (an "in" or trusted network contact) for company/industry information, and 3) convey genuine excitement for the role during interviews. The video is conversational, encouraging, and aimed at practical, actionable behaviors that helped the speaker secure multiple full-time offers.

For this week's video I wanted to keep it short and sweet. I wanted to touch on the non negotiables in the job search for me.
And what helped me land full, multiple full time offers operating through that the whole hiring process.
The first thing for me was filling out all pieces of the application I've been on behind the scenes hr. There is a pile for people who.
Don'T submit their cover letter when they apply.
Make sure you're filling out every single.
Part of the application when you're applying.
The second thing for me when was knowing someone at the company and if I didn't have, you know, an in or know someone at the company, I had a trusted professional in my network that was going to give me good information on the industry that was going to, you know, I was going to use in interviews and it was going.
To help me leverage myself into that position.
The last thing is just having general.
Excitement for the role.
There's a lot of people who get on, you know, phone screens, interviews and they just don't convey, hey, I'm passionate about this role.
I love the work that I would be doing.
You know, convey that in your voice, smile when you talk. You know, just bring that to that energy to the interview and any chance.
You get with a hiring team, it really goes a long way.
So that's it for this week's Friday video. Thanks for tuning in once again. As always, leave comments questions below for this video and if you want to.
