Short YouTube video (Dominic Imwalle) describing a single job-search mindset: operating with a “no permission” thought process. The speakers explain how this mindset helped in three scenarios—(1) listing and applying to target companies (including large firms like Apple, Facebook, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs), (2) proactively reaching out to people without waiting for approval, and (3) leveraging/applying into broader or higher-level roles. The tone is practical and encouraging; the video closes with a brief call for comments/questions.

Hey guys, Happy Friday. Thanks for tuning in once again. I think we're on the 12th or 13th Friday video so far, so I.
Appreciate all the support and thanks for pushing me along this journey.
For this week's video, I wanted to talk about one thing that really one mindset that really helped me in the.
Job search and three scenarios where it really applied and boosted my job search.
So that mindset is operating with a.
No permission thought process in the back of your head.
And the three scenarios where it applied for me was the first one was when I went to go ahead and list out my target companies when I was building that 10 to 15 list. I didn't need someone to tell me.
I could go apply to Apple or.
Facebook or Deloitte or any of these big company Goldman Sachs that I wanted to work at. I just simply went and did it and went for it. I didn't need someone to tell me.
Hey, you're worthy enough to apply there. So that's the first place that helped me.
The second situation was with reaching out to people. I just reached out to people and was like, hey, I'm genuinely interested in the work that you do. Can I learn more? I didn't look at people and look at their profile and then think they're.
Way above my pay grade or I.
Didn'T let someone tell me, well, you.
Should wait a couple months before you talk to them.
I just simply went and did it.
And got it done and learned from it and moved on.
The third thing it helped me with scenario is leveraging myself into the role that I that I wanted and pushing myself to broadly and open up more.
For the role titles.
I wasn't saying hey, I wasn't letting people tell me, hey, you got this education, you can go ahead and get.
This role at Deloitte or you can.
Go ahead and get this role at.
Goldman Sachs or whatever.
I didn't want to live in certain roles the rest of my life. So I just went out, applied, made myself open to the team and went from there and I just operated with. I didn't really need anyone to tell me what I can and can't do.
In the job search and that's what.
Really helped me find success pretty quickly. As always, Happy Friday. Thanks for tuning in once again. Questions, comments? Leave them below if you have any things you want me to cover in the next week's Video Friday video, more than happy to just shoot me a.
