A short YouTube "Friday" video by Dominic Imwalle that presents one motivating quote—"Relax, look around, make a call"—and applies it to job searching and networking. The speaker uses the quote to counter analysis paralysis, urging viewers to pause, assess actionable options (prioritize where they need to go), and then take one concrete action (apply, reach out, or follow up).

Hey guys, happy Friday. Thanks for checking out this week's Friday video and I'm glad this found you today. In today's video, I wanted to go over one quote that's been really helping me crush in my professional career lately. And it's going to help you guys in the job search and networking. That's where I'm going to use it. This quote is, relax, look around, make a call. Some of you might know where this quote comes from. I write it down on post it notes, I have it on my walls and it really helps me. And for the job search and what I see a lot of people doing is analysis paralysis. If they have a target list, they look at their list. Oh, I don't even know where to start. Should I reach out to people? Should I apply? Should I practice for the interview? Should I start with my resume? They just don't know where to start. And with that quote, relax, take that deep breath, take that minute, take that 10 seconds, whatever you need. Personally look around, what are my options? Where do I need to go? Where do I need to go? Not where do I want to go, where do I need to go? And then I make a call. I prioritize action. And that's my favorite part about this quote, is that it prioritizes action and gets you moving. The second place that this happened is networking. You're stressed. You look at all these profiles. You know, I've been working with clients, I've been showing them how many people there are out there to talk to in the role that you want. But some don't. Some of these people don't even know where to start. They're just, just lost. Like, hey, how do I reach out to this person? Where do I look? Yet again, it's relax. There's so many different avenues you could go down. Look around. You could go down to your alumni university, you could go to people you worked with in the past, you could go to people you don't even know and some are better than others. But just make a call and prioritize action and take that action in your networking. These are two examples where I would use it for job searching and networking. And this is just the quote that's been helping me the last couple weeks and I wanted to share it with you guys. Happy Friday. Thanks for checking out this week's Friday video. As always, questions, comments, insights below and have a great rest of your weekend, guys.
