Turpel, one of the largest oil and gas companies in Colombia, capturing 42% of the market. Turpel's management started to research ways that they could not only keep their leading position in the market, but actually expand on it. They concluded that a loyalty program would consolidate their position and even provide growth, projecting up to 4% in additional market share over a 4-year period. Out of 5 possible solutions, Terpel chose Fielo to power its customer loyalty program. What made Fielo stand out was the powerful points engine, which allows their customers to earn miles for every gallon they buy, as well as a robust backend that includes an automatic currency converter. Not to mention the fact that Terpel and Fielo teamed up with Lifemiles, an airline rewards program, giving even more value to Terpel's customers. But one feature stood out the most to them: the fact that Fielo is a truly native platform to the Salesforce environment. So what were the results? In just one year, Trepel's customer loyalty program garnered 750,000 members. The company gained an additional 2% in market share, and 50% of that was directly attributed to the Fielo Power program. What's even better is out of 10 purchases per month, customers were making 8 of them with Trepel.
