Hey, my friend Kenny Chapman here, the blue collared coach with a quick message for you today about some marketing strategies and necessities for 2016. Now of course we're not there yet, so they all apply anyway, but I want to talk to you today about five quick things. Five important quick things. Number one, there is no excuse for having an outdated website any longer. We don't have that luxury of having a. A lame site, a one page site, a marker in the sand, a web address so you look like you're professional. No, think about yourself. How long do you last on a site if it's not communicating a message to you that resonates with you, that feels like something that you're looking for and you want to interact and do business or at least explore this website? Take a hard look at your website. Number two, optimization of that said website. Right. So right now over 50% of purchases are being done with mobile devices. What does that mean to you? Again, it's no luxury to be mobile optimized. That came out earlier this year where Google starts moving people down and all those types of things. It's not even about Google now. It's about a client going directly to your site and having a hard time navigating that site. You see that with yourself as well. We get frustrated if it's not easy to use and be able to build that effectively. Third thing we want to do is improve our social media presence. Now I didn't say improve our social media marketing or improve our social media direct ads and pay per click ads and all those types of things. I said improve your social media presence. What do I mean by that? You've got to create valuable content. I've been pushing this for a while. It's not going to go away. I want to see you offering better blogs, shooting some videos like these about the things that you do in your company. Grab a shot with a technician out in the field. Put, put that out there so your client can begin to understand who you are in a social presence. Number four, be noticeable. Now obviously you're like oh no brainer can he be noticeable. But how do you stand out in that sea of sameness? I'm big on big bold guarantees. Our recent Titanium Acceleration workshop, I did a piece on big bold guarantees and you should have watched some of these incredibly progressive smart contractors going what? You want us to say what? And we'll do what? What if they take advantage of us? What if they. That's not what it's about. It's about getting noticed up front. So in that before unit we can speak messaging to differentiate from everybody else that we interact with and compete with. Okay, last but not least, personalize your brand. I've said it before. However many trucks you have on the road, that's how many brands you have. How effectively are you training that frontline messaging to make sure that that's consist with what you want? Do you know what you want your brand message to be? Because now we're in this personalization marketing world and that's the big buzz right now. Everything has to be personalized, right? So when we look at that, how do we do that effectively for our clients? I'm going to tell you one key strategy. Listen and understand. It's been said that people don't buy when they understand you. They buy when they feel understood. Take that to the bank. Five things to improve your marketing strategies. I want to see you at the top. I'm Kenny Chapman. Until we talk again, have a better than fantastic week and we'll see you soon.
