Hey, everybody, Kenny Chapman here, the blue collar coach, coming to you live with this week's video version of Freedom Friday Focus. Now, this week I want to talk to you about something. It's about efficiency. It's about productivity. It's about enjoying your life. It's about going, hey, wait a minute, what game am I playing and why am I playing it this way? How am I allocating my time? Where am I spending my resources? What can I do to put some things together, get better results, more consistent, efficient, effective results and have more fun in the process? I was just thinking about it this week after our Mastermind group coaching call. We have this great call, great energy, a lot of things on the table, a lot of moving and shaking going on in the group. And I'm sitting there going, wow, it's Wednesday, right? Hump day. Why do they call it hump day? I'm just going, what's up with hump day? So I jump online and I Google on the Urban Dictionary that it says that hump day. It's about this whole process of climbing a proverbial hill of a very tough week. Now, I get that the Urban Dictionary, it's not Webster whatever, but it's this slang term that many, many people use about this hump day thing. So it's about climbing this proverbial hill of a tough week. What about that mindset? What about that mentality? So how are we using our time? When we think about, oh, I just got to get to Wednesday and then it's going to be a little better and then I finally get to the weekend. I we're entrepreneurs, we're business leaders, we're managers. We don't deal with that. We're on a 24, 7, 365 schedule. So you got to think about protecting your time and compartmentalizing your time. So I want you to go back to the last week and look at your planner, look at your outlook, look at your Franklin Covey system, whatever you're using for your time management, because hopefully you have something tracking your time and what you're doing. Go back and look through it. What were the things that you could compartmentalize and put together and be more effective with your time so you can group things and lump them together. And then if you're going to have some time away, have real time away and turn off the phone for an hour at a time and create some space for you to have creativity and have fun again, have fun in the process. This should be a series of wins every day, every week every month. We're moving, we're progressing. We're growing in different ways beyond sales and profitability. We're growing because we got another day to play the game, and that's something to be grateful for. I'm Kenny Chapman, the blue collar coach. Until we talk again, have a better than fantastic week. I'll see you next time.
