Need renewed vision. I'm Kenny Chapman, the blue collar coach. Freedom Friday Focus Today I want to talk about vision. Sometimes people think that guys like me just always have clarity of vision and know what's next and always going on. Here's the thing, always, sometimes we need renewed vision. I want you to think about how you do that. One way is to look back at positive focus in your own life. Things you've done well, not kicking your butt, but what you've done really well. Another place is a look at what other people have done. Like, you know, beyond measure, beyond imagination sometimes. I'm standing here at the Biltmore resort. Lovely. Christy and I are on a staycation and I'm at the Catalina pool behind me. Mr. Wrigley ended up purchasing. He was a large investor. He ended up owning all of this property. In 1930, he built a Wrigley mansion next door. In 1931, he also owned Catalina Island. And you see the blue tile in the pool back here? He had that imported from Catalina over the data and all these types of things. What's my point with you? I look at these things. This guy moved from Chicago, from Philly to Chicago with 38 bucks in his pocket, right? And that's like what, $843 or something in today's world? So you go, okay, I got 800 bucks. I'm moving across country and I'm going to start a soap factory. Now we know it turned into the chewing gum empire and all those different types of things, but here's the thing. I don't care if you don't want to build a billion dollar company. I don't care if you don't want to buy an island or build a crazy pool. What I do care about is your vision. I care about what you want. I care about you executing your personal goals and dreams. Sometimes we need to renew those. Sometimes we need to sharpen those. Sometimes you need a little staycation to get away from it all, have some free time and go, what do I really want? There was a time was Wrigley's time. This time is your time. I'm Kenny Chapman, the blue collar coach. Until we talk, have a better than fantastic day. See you soon.
