Hey, everybody. Kenny Chapman, the blue collar coach, coming to you live with this week's video version of Freedom Friday, Focus. Now, most of us can remember the movie Jerry Maguire where Tom Cruise was representing Cuba Gooding Junior's character, where he was talking about, you know, he's got to sign this new deal. And they started getting in to show me the money, right? Show me the money. That became a coin phrase, swept America. Everybody's talking about it, all this kind of stuff. Well, this week I want you to think about 2014 and I want you to say, show me the enthusiasm. Where's the enthusiasm? Out. I walk around, I see people just drudging along through their day. It's been the holiday season. We've got a new year coming. It's a fresh start calendar wise. You can do anything you want in 2014. And yet people are just meandering around like, life is a bummer and life is a drag. What? Come on, wake up. It's the sixth dimension of change that I wrote my book about. Enthusiasm. Dig in, have some fun. What do you want to do, man? A clean slate? What do you want your business to look like in 2014? Let's start there. What kind of an income do you want? What are some tasks and things that are going to take? What's the vision that you've looked at for your three year plan and chunking that down to one year, about what you want to do, what you want to accomplish, how much money you want to have in the bank, how much peace of mind you want to have, how you want to grow and not falling into the victim mentality and the negative news, talking about, oh, the labor deficiency and this and that. I share in the written part of this. Freedom Friday. There's challenges out there. I've got them in my market. We just had another big oil company say we're not drilling in 2014. That's an issue for us. But guess what? We've got to step up. We got to bring our A game, we got to bring our enthusiasm and play even more full out so we can win. That's what it's all about. I don't care what kind of year you had in 2013. If it was a barn burner, cool. Beat it next year. If you struggled, if you had challenges, if you had issues, what did you learn? What kind of lessons will you be able to take and apply in 2014 so you get a different result? This is what it's all about, ladies and gentlemen, kicking it up another level, another game. You got it. It's your time. It begins with a choice. I want you to choose wisely until we talk again. Have a better than fantastic week and I'll see you next time.
