A short motivational video by Kenny Chapman (the "blue collar coach") arguing that simply consuming books or ideas isn't enough—people only "care" about your growth when you take visible, massive action and implement learnings. He recounts asking followers what they've implemented after sharing book recommendations and emphasizes taking one or two concrete changes from reading to improve leadership or life. The piece closes with a direct call to take mass action.

Nobody cares. Sorry, nobody cares. Kenny Chapman, the blue collar coach Stick with me for a moment because people really do care. But they don't care until they have a reason to care. Now, I'm standing in front of the Appaloosa Library here in Scottsdale today and I want you to think about this. Earlier this week I posted for my social media following to throw out some books that have given them some value. Some things they've read recently. Could be personal, could be business, doesn't matter as long as it's growth focused. And after over a hundred comments, somebody said, hey, by the way, it's cool that all these book are being read, but ask me directly what have you learned? What have you implemented specifically? And that really just begs the great question. As I think about this library, as I think about all of those amazing books and titles that got shared for people to look at and digest the information and have a different perspective or thought in life. But here's what I know. You could read every one of the books in the Appaloosa library and nothing matters. And nobody cares until they have a reason to. And they have a reason to. When you start taking massive action, when you read one book and take two things away and change your life, when you read one book and take one thing away and improve your leadership ability, when you read a quarter of a book or a chapter of a book and take massive action, people begin to care. I care about you. I'm coming from a place of loving truth. But nobody cares until you take action. I'm Kenny Chatham, the blue collar coach. Until we talk, read, digest and take mass action, have a better than fantastic weekend. We'll see you very soon.
