A short motivational video from Kenny Chapman (the "blue collar coach") contrasting an "amateur mindset" with a "master mindset." Using a recent 12-day personal growth/professional-development experience and anecdotes from peers, Chapman urges viewers to treat repeated advice as timely reminders (master mindset) rather than dismissing it (amateur mindset) and to execute with clarity and vision.

Foreign. Are you stuck in amateur mindset? Kenny Chapman here, the blue collar coach. Freedom Friday. Focus. Let me talk about amateur mindset versus master mindset. I was at an event last weekend my buddy Sean Stevenson put on. He was talking about this concept and I want to share it with you today because oftentimes you get stuck because of amateur mindset. I've been on a 12 day personal growth, professional development, building content, doing strategic growth intensives with clients. All this just crazy. What most people would say, crazy schedule. 12 days. A lot of what I've heard, a lot of what I've learned, a lot of what I've ingested into my mind, I've heard before. Probably up to 50, 60, 80% I've heard before. But here's the thing. The amateur mind says, I've heard that before. The mastermind says, thank you for the reminder. Here's the deal. I was doing a strategic growth intensive yesterday and Keith was talking about how different times in your life you hear information and think about that, my friend. When the master says, hmm, thank you for the reminder. You're in a different place. When the amateur says, I've heard that, you dust it off, you, you dodge it. Just like moving a tackle in football, you just boom, off to the side, brush it off, right? I want you to think about, okay? Because you're in a different place. You know you've picked up a book, you know you've read something, you know you've heard a quote, you know you've met somebod at a different time in your life and it changed your life forever. Life's about defining moments. Life's about vision. Life's about clarity. Life's about execution. Don't execute from the mind of an amateur until we talk. Have a better than fantastic week. See you soon.
