Foreign. You ever experience a success trap or do you sabotage as soon as you get there? Kenny Chapman, the blue collar coach, coming to you. Could be a little emotional today. I'm heading out of my house here in a little about a week now. We've. We've been packing up. We leave actually next. Next Thursday. So this is the last freedom Friday. As you can see, that beautiful piece of art Christie painted behind me there, last freedom Friday from my home in Colorado. We closed Monday and move Thursday. And I want to talk to you about success traps. I never knew this concept until my buddy and mentor, Joe Polish, taught me about it. And success traps are harder to get out of than failure traps, my friend. And when you think about your life and you think about success traps and failure traps, you know, when you. When you get in a failure trap, you get out, right? You figure it out. You find a way out. You know what you need to do. Even if you don't know what you need to do, you know, you've got to do something, right? But success traps aren't that way. Success traps, you know, the world, the universe, your peers, your friends, your family. You know, people want normal. You know, when I sold my business that I owned for almost 24 years, people freaked out. They were like, what would you. Why would you sell a successful company? I don't understand what that is. And it had become a success trap. It was blocking my future, right? So people don't understand me, and that's okay. I might be the craziest person ever walk the planet. I've embraced that, and I'm okay with that. And so when I think about that, you know, I'm always driving. I'm always pushing. I'm always about relationships. I'm always looking, getting better in those different types of things. And people don't understand that. Maybe they don't understand you either. And I. My family moved here in 1976. I got to the top of this market. I live in the best part of the town. I built my dream home, whatever, here. And people don't understand why we're leaving. A lot of people. And that's okay. And when you think about success traps and you think about. You know, it's not easy for me to leave here, man. I've been here since 76. I went to school here. I graduated high school here. It's hard for Christie. We built this home together. But it's time. It's a success trap. See, now we're building a new home in Arizona. Now we're building a new home for the next level of our lives. And it's not about this place. It's not about this geography. It's about us. And it's about us becoming who we need to be to lead to the next level, to grow to the next level. And we can build another home. We can build another. We can find, you know, deer in the backyard. We got. I don't know if we can see any right now, but we got deer everywhere here. It's just been an amazing, amazing place. And sometimes I think I'm crazy because people question me. Why are you leaving? Why are you moving on? What are you chasing? You know, I get that a lot. What are you chasing? What are you running from? How about that? People ask me, what are you running from? How about, what am I running toward? How about, what are you stuck on? What are you afraid of? Why are you in a success trap? Why are you sabotaging what you should be doing in your life? And should's a big bad word, right? Unless it comes to what motivates you. Unless it comes to what really matters. Unless it comes to what drives you, my friend. This is my last freedom. Friday from my home in Colorado. We'll be back. We'll rent, we'll see friends and family. But this is it. This success trap has been busted. I'll see you on the other side until we talk. Break your own success traps and have a better than fantastic weekend. We'll talk to you soon. Cheers. It.
