A short coaching video by Kenny Chapman (the Blue Collar Coach) arguing that education and continuous self-improvement are the key to sustainable personal and business growth. Chapman emphasizes that knowledge must be implemented, recounts attending a coaching event with leaders of large organizations who actively take notes, and urges viewers to surround themselves with high-performing peers ("you are the average of your five closest friends"). He references Tony Robbins' idea of constant and never-ending improvement and encourages joining masterminds or trainings to accelerate growth.

Hey, everybody, Kenny Chapman here, the blue collar coach, coming to you with this week's video version of Freedom Friday Focus. Now this week I want to talk to you about growth. I want to speak to you for a moment about sustainability. I want to bring up the one key that will absolutely help you maintain and grow your company. Now, what is that thing? It's called education. It's the backbone of everything you do. Now, education is not enough just on its own and by itself because obviously you have to implement. It's been said that knowledge is power. That's absolutely true. That's the foundation. But actually executing knowledge is really where it comes from. So, you know, it's been said that school is never out for the pro, right? So I just recently came from my own coaching event where I get coached and trained by peers and mentors. And I'm sitting in here with these guys that run, you know, and ladies running hundred plus million dollar organizations in all kinds of different industries from literally all over the world. And if you look over when there's a speaker going over a concept, talking about something, what do you see? They're head down, they're in their notebook, they're writing, they're taking notes, they're fully engaged and they're some of the most ultra successful people on the planet. Why? Because they get it. This is about lifelong growth. This is about creating the company that you want. And doing what you did yesterday is not going to continue to get there if you're not hanging out with industry transformers. You need to take a look. It's been said that you're the average of your five closest friends. The people that you spend the most time with. Are those five people. I don't know. If you look at that, do you want to be average like that? The average of those. Do you want to continue to grow? Do you want to continue to look at what's next? You need to get around them. Whether you work with us and get in our mastermind groups and our monthly training, whatever that looks like for you, that's all great. I'm just saying get out there, get educated. Tony Robbins calls it. Can I constant and never ending improvement. That is the key to your growth, sustaining it. And by the way, it's a whole lot more fun when you get off the island. Hope to see you soon. I'm Kenny Chapman, the blue collar coach. Until we talk again, have a better than fantastic day and I'll see you next time.
