Chapman identifies three capabilities to develop: increasing confidence, cultivating internal gratitude (distinct from external gratitude), and strengthening connection with customers; he emphasizes continuous learning as technology changes how people connect.

Hey, everybody. Kenny Chapman here, the blue collar coach, coming to you live with this week's video version of freedom Friday focus here on our new patio. And today, I want to talk to you about connecting with customers. I want to talk to you about top performance. And I wanted, you know, one of the questions that we're always asked. We do a lot of training and train top performers all over the country and different things are, what are the. What are the capabilities? Kenny, what are. What do you see the most common? Well, top performers continue to improve their situation. They continue to evolve and grow. But there's three areas really do spend quite a bit of time on. Number one, the first and foremost thing that you must get increased in your own situation and your top performers is confidence. The top people that we work with are always increasing their confidence, and so they work on increasing, improving confidence, which allows them to take risk and do different things and try new things because they're confident that they're going to win at the end of the day regardless. Always increase confidence. Number two. Increase. Increase Internal. Excuse me, Internal gratitude. Now, there's two types of gratitude. Internal and external. Internal is when I choose to feel good about what I already have and what I do. And then external is if something favorable happens to me, changes the environment or whatever, and that therefore makes me grateful. The third thing that we need to look at is increasing and improving connection. Top performers connect at every level with customers. They pay attention to it. They empathize. They're able to do this, and they're always working. The world's changing with how we connect with customers. With technology, all the evolution that's taking place makes it harder and harder to connect. So you must continue to learn and grow and pay attention to these if you want to improve your game. Pay attention and grow your confidence, grow your internal gratitude, and grow your ability to connect with others and watch your results skyrocket. I'm Kenny Chapman, the blue collar coach. Until we talk again, have a better than fantastic week, and I'll see you next time.
