Kenny Chapman (the "blue collar coach") delivers a short Freedom Friday video from Times Square reflecting on how businesses attract specific customers. Using the analogy of New York boroughs and neighborhoods, he urges listeners to narrow their target market (e.g., a niche like vegan French food or plumbing/HVAC services) and build a focused marketing "magnet" rather than trying to attract everyone. The clip is informal, travel-framed (trip with Christy), and ends with a weekend sign-off.

What are you attracting with your business, with your marketing, with your mindset? Kenny Chapman here, the blue collar coach, coming to you with Freedom Friday focus from Times Square as a lovely. Christy and I took a trip to take a little break. Now, I want you to think about a place like New York. We've gone through all kinds of different boroughs, we've eaten our way through this town because we're both foodies and we love our food. And every different borough, every different part of town attracts a specific part of person, part of mindset, part of thought process. I want you to think about your business in your life, when you're put putting in your mental food. What are you thinking about attracting? See, many times you start a business and you think you want to be New York City. You want anybody and everybody to come here and trade with you and be a part of it. And that's simply a fallacy, my friend. It is not true. And I want you to think about that. How do you narrow it down to one little borough, one little neighborhood, one little sector of the people that want to eat vegan French food? That's your client. Maybe you're not that narrow, but maybe you really need to think plumbing, heating, air conditioning, electrical restoration. Exactly. Who are you going after? After. And build that magnet. Because you don't need all of this to accomplish everything you want. Until we talk. Make it a better than fantastic weekend. See you real soon.
