Hi everybody. Kenny Chapman here, the blue collar coach, coming to you with this week's video version of Freedom Friday Focus. Now this week you're going to see I did something a little bit different and I actually shared an excerpt from a client's email that I received earlier in the week. I'm recording this for you this morning here on the 4th of July before I get to go play a round of golf at my own country club. Something I don't do near enough as much as I'm on the road. But it made me ponder, made me think as I prepared for you this week. What is this all about? I mean, you know, we talk about freedom in business. Why did we get into business? Generally, when I ask in live seminars, it's to make more money, to have better security, to have more opportunity for my family, to have more time off, all these things. How's that working out for you? Right? We need to take a step back and look at these things. And I share this story this morning because it hit me so hard when I read the email. Maybe it's just me, I don't think so. And I want to share it with you to help as a perspective. We get caught up, ladies and gentlemen, in the day to day the grind, the team members that are challenging the laws, the rules, the regulations that we have to conform to in our businesses and all the different things. Sometimes we need to take a step back and look at what our soldiers do, look at what this young man has sacrificed and his peers and think about how can we bring these types of relationships into what we do? How can we get better communication with our peers? I did a teleseminar earlier this week about momentum. And one of the keys to momentum is being engaged in your trade, in your industry, with your peers. Now that's probably not your competitors down the street you can talk to and that's why we have mastermind groups. There's other great opportunities out there for people. Get engaged, get involved, stand by your comrades, help each other, pay attention to what's really going on out there. Take a step back, read through this email today that I sent you and think about this soldier. These people will rename Anonymous in this email based on protecting their identities. But man, real stuff. Get a tissue and read along until we talk again. I'm Kenny Chapman, the blue collar coach. Have a better than fantastic week and I'll see you next time.
