Hey, everybody, Kenny Chapman here, the blue collar coach coming to you live with this week's video version of Freedom Friday Focus. Now, this week, I have a question to pose to you. What will it take? What's it gonna take for 2014 to be your breakout year, your super bowl year, your Peyton Manning goal setting, record breaking kind of a year? Now, let's be honest, I live in Colorado. I, I'm not a Bronco fan. I'm a Charger fan. I'm from San Diego. I've always been a Charger fan. As a matter of fact, I got my little nice signed LT helmet here. I got a good client that's a good buddy of mine that gave me a signed LT helmet years ago. But that's nonetheless, the point is, this isn't about football. It's not about the super bowl, it's not about sports, it's not about Peyton Manning. In fact, I'm not even a big Manning fan. Little brother Eli actually got drafted by my Chargers and he declined to play for us. What? He thought he was a little too good to play for us. Now I guess he has two super bowl rings and we don't have any. So I guess maybe that was a decision that he made. Whatever. Here's the thing. Last year, Peyton Manning's hurt, or two years ago, he's hurt. Big neck issue. It's the end of it. He's never going to come back. He's too old. He's 37 years old, which is like 102 in football years. Can't do it. And then all of a sudden he create, creates a new situation, finds a new team, finds new ownership, finds new management, finds a new system and works diligently within that system to lead a team back to the super bowl, back to greatness. Now, during the course of this season, he broke all kinds of records, personal records at the quarterback position. But guess what? He can't play quarterback without an effective offensive line. He can't be effective passing if he can't run the football. There's a lot of things that come into play with. We've got PTU technicians, we've got maintenance techs, we've got sales guys, we've got demand techs. We've got all these different things going on in our company and we can't do any of it without the right team. What's it gonna take? 2014, baby. Here we are already wrapping up. Today's the last day of January. Guess what? We're already, what, 15% almost of the year is gone. What are we gonna do? What are you gonna do to accomplish your goals? Maybe you hurt your neck last year. I'm still dealing with. So I'm kind of moving a little bit, not so mobile. But, you know, maybe you hurt your neck as Peyton Manning did, and you sat on the sidelines and you took some stuff in and you're trying to learn and figure out what's it going to be? What's your massive action now? It's 2014. It's go time. It's your time. You've got greatness. You've got the ability to create the company that you want. What are you waiting for? Let's go. Now is the the time. Make the effort. Make the action. Make the decision. It all begins with a choice, ladies and gentlemen, and that's what I want from you today, is a decision to make this the best year you've ever had. I don't care about your age. I don't care about your past. I don't care about where you came from. I care about your future. And you've got the ability to do this. I'm Kenny Chapman, the blue collar coach. Until we talk again, have a better and fantastic week and I'll see you next time.
