Welcome to my podcast. The Red Door, where humans share their stories. Our stories are what bring us together, connect us, and how we feel a little less lonely, giving you the reminder that you are not on this journey by yourself. As a collective, we share emotions and feelings, not the same way, but we each know what anger feels like, frustration, abandonment, insecurity, and what shit is fake or not in alignment with us. It is my mission to provide a platform for you to get vulnerable and share your experiences with the world. There is always at least one person listening who will be transformed by your message. Remember that the next time imposter syndrome pops up and tells you you you aren't ready, or you aren't good enough, or that no one cares. Tell that voice to fuck off and then DM me. I'm here for you now and always, not just to hype you up, but to guide you down a path of mindset shifts so you can do the holy shit, this is hard inner work and create the life you love. If you're ready, Enter here. All right, Jane, I'm so excited for us to dive in. Tell me when you first discovered hand analysis.
Well, there's a tiny bit of a story before that. Um, my background is corporate.
MBA.
I've had 3 careers prior to this, successful, but I always hit this point, Chris, where I just was not happy. You know, I was, I was unfulfilled and felt off track. And that feeling just built, you know, and I changed jobs, then I felt good for a while. And then I hit this wall again, and got one of those cosmic two-befores, you know, proverbial knock across the head when my parents died 3 months apart. And it was just really a wake-up call of, you know, hey, life is short, I need to figure this out. Because I tried a little bit to figure it out. I mean, I worked with a career coach, that didn't help. I was reading books, filling out forms, nothing seemed to help. So after my parents died, I was like, I gotta quit farting around and get serious. So I went on Google and started searching, how do I find my life purpose? Because I felt that's what I was missing, the articulation of that. And went down a couple of paths that turned out to be not appropriate for me, and then ran across a headline for a teleseminar, and it read, Discover Your Innate Life Purpose. Oh my gosh, I couldn't click on that fast enough. So, um, and And the first words I saw once I opened that up were hand analysis. And I was really disappointed because I figured it was palm reading and that can be a lot of fun, but I knew it wouldn't give me what I needed. The next word I saw was scientific. That word helped me kind of put aside my anal MBA skepticism. So I listened to the teleseminar. It seemed very credible to me. I really wanted my purpose. So I had a Scientific Hand Analysis done. Blew my mind! I mean, it answered questions I didn't even know I had. It was like, oh, no wonder, no wonder that worked, but that didn't. And no wonder I liked that, but I didn't like that. And no wonder I felt so off track all this time. I mean, it pretty much answers everything about who you are and why you're here, including your innate purpose, which is not a job description. That would be cuckoo. And what I've learned is that everybody has options on work or expressions of their purpose that will keep them in alignment.
Interesting.
But I knew everything resonated, and I knew if I took action on the information that I would find my way. And that's exactly what happened. Within a few months, got more clarity, doors were opening. I got introduced to the right people, got in a group, and boom. I mean, it was like, hello. If I was so lit up and on fire before I even knew what my purpose work was, I want to help people feel like that. Wow. I started studying it, studied it for 5 straight years. You don't have to, but I wanted as high as possible, so I'm as highly certified as possible. I'm a Master Scientific Hand Analyst, which is just the very few of us, the sheer number that I've performed. And I have 3 coaching certifications, so I'm a Purpose, Law of Attraction, and Spiritual Life Coach. And all those thread together when I am working with my clients. So I'm on purpose, yay! After decades of not being. It's never too late.
That sounds so great. And I feel like most people, or most people that listen to my show, are all about finding purpose. There's so many different tools, right? Like we've heard of Human Design or Love Languages or anything. So how is this different? Or how is it— like, let's talk about the science behind it.
Okay, great. And I've done all those things.
Okay.
Before my hand analysis and since. The lines in your hands actually mimic the neural pathways in your brain. So the accuracy is incontestable. It's so accurate that Forbes wrote about it. The gentleman that created this database spent 40 years and analyzed over 30,000 hands. I mean, that's more subjects than any FDA-approved drug out there. So it's a very robust system, very reliable. This guy wrote a book and the foreword to his book was written by a neurosurgeon at Stanford who was using Scientific Hand Analysis with his patients. The big difference between this and palm reading, besides the scientific, is that palm reading depends a lot on the intuitive level of the reader. Scientific Hand Analysis, anybody can learn. Um, it's a database. It's a big book, great big binder. Um, and the results are completely independent of the mood you're in when you take like Myers-Briggs or StrengthFinders or any of those, which are wonderful in their use, but none of those give you purpose. And Scientific Hand Analysis, you don't have to say a word. It's independent of how you interpret questions, how you answer questions, the mood you're in. I mean, I've had Myers-Briggs 3 times and got 3 different results. So this is completely independent of that. And I've got clients in 10 countries, so I rarely know my clients. Wow.
So when you— I mean, you can do this, like, over Zoom, right?
I use handprints.
Wow. Okay.
I send out a kit, which is a big envelope, and people follow the instructions. No big deal, and take their handprints, get their handprints back to me. I get it all prepared, and then we have two 1-hour Zoom calls. So I'm the only one I know that does that, but the first hour is the analysis, which is, you know, it's a fire hose of information.
Yeah.
And then the second hour is to give them time, like a week or two later, give them time to watch that recording because I'm showing them on Zoom what markings I'm talking about.
Okay.
And gives them time to digest it and questions to come up and for them to make note of questions in any way that I can help them implement that information into their lives. So, and both of those are recorded and there's also a summary report that comes with it. It's, it's, I mean, easy for me to say, but it is amazing. People are just talking, they call it freaky accurate. Validating, you know, confidence building, gives them permission to really step into who they wanted to be or who they thought they were. Yeah, repetitive about it.
Is it comparable at all to Human Design?
There are— there's overlap with all that stuff. Astrology, Human Design. I guess I'm dense. I find Human Design really difficult to understand and Yeah, there's a lot, a lot, a lot. And all of these modalities are very helpful, so they're just all different and the languaging is different.
Okay. Can you share some of the life changes that have happened with clients that you've worked with, like things that they've shared with you?
Yeah. So, and I'm trying to think of ones that haven't even done coaching. Um, because some of my clients go from hand analysis into coaching because they know it's right, but they don't know what it looks like. So that's my purpose coaching. I help them figure out options for ideal work or ways to express their purpose and stay in alignment with it and work through their tripping points. Because the hand analysis identifies purpose, gifts, and blind spots. And when you take action on the blind spots woo, you know, whole new world.
Yeah.
So I've had one client who was broke, and the hand analysis gave her so much confidence, and she felt so validated that she really stepped into her gifts, and within 6 months she made 6 figures. Oh my gosh, that's extreme, but it's true. Um, I've had people repair relationships that were in deep doo-doo. Um, because there's some relationship stuff in the hands as well. And actually, anytime you take action on the student paths, that's what we call the tripping points, student paths, and everybody's got a bunch. It affects this 360. So you can work on a student path that seems to have nothing to do with relationships, and it helps relationships. So, mm-hmm. And then I had two people who really wanted— they hated their jobs, they wanted to leave, but taking action on the hand analysis flipped things around, and all of a sudden they like their jobs. Um, and then coaching is a whole nother thing, you know. The— about the only thing I can't help with is I'm not a business coach.
Yeah, well, I'm sure—
I mean, companies—
okay, well, I'm sure just like you providing them this hand analysis, there's probably so many questions that follow So without continued tools and continued help and continued guidance, I feel like you could potentially get stuck, like your brain could be overloaded. Is that why people, I mean, choose to continue with coaching? I mean, because they want to see more or feel more, they need more guidance.
Yeah. And it's not so much because they're overwhelmed. Um, some people don't even take the second call because they got it. Okay, got it. And some people who are already living their purpose and just kind of wanted to confirm that, they don't need coaching. So people that need coaching are stuck somewhere, and long stuck before their hand analysis, and they know the information's right. Like me, I knew it was right, I just didn't know what the expression of my purpose looked like, right? So then I had to do more work with a coach and figure out, I love this stuff. I find this hand analysis fascinating. I want people to feel like I do. So, you know, there's lots of reasons people get coaching. They could feel stuck in one area of their life. It could be their work. It may not be.
Okay.
But they're just— they want different. They want to see— they want change in 6 months, you know. And depending on what that change is, it's a good fit for me to help.
Yeah, so I think, I mean, just like the, the, um, what is the word? When we were talking about your client who went from, you know, broke to six figures, I mean, it's massive, it's huge. But more than just that, it's like a feeling of finally feeling like you found your purpose. So how did that feel to you? I mean, I mean, you, you shared a little bit of like just feeling like you were over here, you know, and not feeling completely aligned with what you were doing. So now that you have this life, I mean, how do you— how are you more, um, gosh, what— I cannot think of my words today, but are you okay?
I can give you lots of words.
So yeah, you give me the words.
Yeah, I'll give you the words. So, um, and this was when I got my hand analysis, 2012. So, you know, it's been 9 years. Yeah, and after the Hand Analysis, I felt inspired, seen like I've never felt seen before. I was really excited, um, and I had my blueprint. I knew that I had my blueprint, that I just needed to follow that and take action on my student paths as much as I could. Now, because, you know, I've been doing this for a while now and adding the coaching to that, I wish everybody loved their lives as much as I do. I mean, I'm just, you know, I've got it figured out now where the amount of clients I want, you know, I have a horse, I ride him almost every day, mud allowing, which hasn't been allowing lately so much because it's mud season. Yeah, I love my clients where, because I'm better at picking them now, better because the first few years, you know, it's like anybody that asked me for help, I'd want to help. And sometimes it wasn't that great of a fit, which just made it a lot harder work for me. Mm-hmm. And I get real attached to my clients in terms of getting them the results that they want. That's extraordinarily important to me. So yeah, I really love my clients now. The feeling of being on purpose is unparalleled. I mean, it's empowering. You know, as I mentioned, it's validating. It's like you can see your way. Obstacles are easier to overcome. It's not like everything is perfect after that, of course not. But there's nothing like it. And I believe it's the only way to that deeper and more consistent joy and fulfillment and success on our terms that everybody craves. People think they want happy, they want fulfillment, they want to feel fulfilled. They want to know they're making a difference and the difference that they're meant to make.
Oh, yes. That was such a beautiful, beautiful description. As far as doing your coaching, can somebody want to do coaching with you but not do hand analysis? Or is it like a full package? Like, this is how you start coaching, and now I— now we're on this journey together.
I don't think I'd want to do coaching without the hand analysis.
Does it just give you a deeper, like, understanding and vision of somebody's?
So much. If I use that as my guide, that's how accurate it is, if I use the hand analysis as my guide, and remind them of where they're getting stuck and why they're getting stuck and what to do about it, because that's one thing about hand analysis, it doesn't just tell you where you get tripped up, it tells you what to do about it. And then I can remind people of that, and the accountability is worth its weight in gold. But, you know, there's also action. So the Success of a coaching partnership is just as much on the client as it is on the coach.
Oh yeah.
Gotta take action. Um, okay, now I'm going back and trying to remember what your specific question was. Oh, so you can either get the whole package to begin with and then the hand analysis is free if you sign up for coaching. Um, or you can get the hand analysis and then come in.
Okay.
But either way, hand analysis, first analysis, you know, and anybody that's had one, well, I'll say 99%, nobody's ever asked for a refund on a hand analysis. So 99% of people who have a hand analysis would understand why I would want to use that as a blueprint for me to follow, to guide them.
Well, yeah, 100%. Why would Okay, so let's talk about this. If you do the hand analysis and they have all of the information, why would they want— or why would they then need coaching if it's all right there? It's just more like accountability.
Well, it depends. So remember, the purpose statement that comes with hand analysis is not a job description. It is the most specific and at the same time comprehensive description of the concept behind your ideal work. So everybody has options. Nobody's stuck with one job or one work that's in alignment with their purpose. So like with me, I knew it was right. And I knew real short, teeny tiny version, I wasn't happy previously because I wasn't going deep enough with people. But there's lots of different ways to help people in deep ways. So I didn't know which one, I didn't know what was best for me. So I needed coaching and this group that I got into to help me determine that. And it was in there that I decided to be a hand analyst. There were lots of other options, though. You know, I considered therapy, being a therapist, I, you know, considered a lot of things. But I didn't have a coach that does what I do. That says, "Well, you know, let's figure out what you like," and I ask tons of questions, so I'm just gathering information. Some people know what they want to do, but they know that they sabotage themselves, right? So, they need help with that, or they know that they'll procrastinate, or they don't have the confidence to really take the action, or they know they need the accountability, but you get so much more. Even if you sign on for the accountability, the benefits are so much broader because I teach everybody law of attraction, and I have them use that as well, which is life-changing in itself, right? Um, and some people say, yeah, this is great, I'm on purpose, but I'm just not feeling good in this part of my life, and I want to change. You know, somebody's just come in this week that wants more accountability for personal things, um, has nothing to do with their work.
Okay, so would you say So would you say, I mean, so there's like Myers-Briggs, like 16 personalities, or love languages. There are only 5, or human design. There's only 5 design types. How is it different? Like, how's hand analysis different? Are there a lot of similarities that you see within each human, or is it just all over the board?
Well, it depends on the marking. So everything in your hands means something. Let's take purpose as an example. There are dozens and dozens of possibilities for how your purpose can show up. Some are more common than others, but still. Now, this top horizontal line across your hand is called your heart line. It's your relationship style. There's only 4 relationship styles. So, you know, and usually people are a blend, you know, of 2 or 3 even. So that's more where I see commonalities.
Okay.
Um, there's a big, uh, piece of information called life school, and it's extraordinarily important. Um, but there's only 4 options. Some people are in 1, some are in 2, some are in 3. So it depends, but the purpose itself, um, dozens of options.

And there's another marking called life lesson, which is like the big kahuna tripping point. So valuable to learn what that is because, and even if you and everybody, the, um, rarely is somebody surprised by it, but what they're not realizing is how broadly it's impacting them, right? Because it's impacting them 360, although it may feel like it's only this one little piece. So learning that is enormously valuable, and there's dozens of options for that.
Okay. Did you, before COVID did you work one-on-one, like, with people in person, or that has never— okay.
Always. I've used Zoom before most people have ever heard of it.
Wow.
Because, um, some of my first clients were out of town, right? And like I mentioned before, now I have clients in 10 countries, so it's, it makes it so I can help anybody anywhere, right?
That's incredible. How do clients usually find you?
Um, used to be speaking engagements. Um, so COVID did hit my business pretty hard because no speaking engagements, right? Right. Um, but that's local. So now, and it's building and building and building— referrals, podcasts, um, you know, a lot of referrals. Um, yeah, so, okay, that's how I'm doing. And I've done—
fascinated.
I'll still do Zoom speaking engagements, and I have a couple of live ones coming up, uh, September and October. And I'm with the team now. I'll always do individual work, but this team is going into companies and corporations, which I always wanted to do because of my corporate background. And, you know, part of its strategy, part of its culture, and then I'll take the lead and give the CEO a hand analysis so that they're on board because they'll be skeptical. I was too. I get it. I was very skeptical.
I love that. Oh my gosh. Can hand analysis help, like, for partnerships, like, to understand each other's?
Actually, there's a couple of hand analysts. Their whole business is about relationships, helping relationships using hand analysis.
Wow.
Okay. So there's multiple different things. Okay. Let's talk about another form of therapy that you like to incorporate in your life, which is horseback riding. And I've heard that horseback riding, I mean, and you see it everywhere, is that, I mean, people use it as a form of therapy. When did you, have you always been a horseback rider? Tell me more about that.
I wish I dreamed about it, you know, as a little girl in Southern Illinois, but I didn't start riding until I was living in Southern California. So I was in my late 30s and just kind of went on a, you know, public ride out in the mountains and said, I got to know more about horses. And the proprietor said, I need a volunteer. I'll teach you everything you want to know. By the end of that summer, I was the one taking the rides out. So I learned fast. And having a lot of different types of horses and breeds and personalities really helped me learn fast. Mm-hmm. And I did that for her several years. You know, Southern California, you can ride all year round. Of course, I ride all year round here too. The cold doesn't bother me. But anyway, so yeah, it's my— I do meditate every morning, but riding my horse is another form of meditation. They're very intuitive, very healing. There are all kinds of nonprofits that cater to people with different needs using horses as therapy. Equine-assisted therapy is what it's most often known as, helps people with PTSD. There's one here in Denver that caters to women who have breast cancer. Wow. Kids, you know, autism. Then hippotherapy is with physical disabilities. Horses can help with that. I mean, they're amazing animals.
What is it about them that can be so therapeutic?
All I can say, Kristjana Hillberg, is that's the way God made them. They're so intuitive and they mirror— horses mirror, mirror what's going on inside of you. So they're even used for like corporate teamwork building or leadership development. Um, because however you show up to them is how they're going to show up to you. So if you're scared, they're going to be uncomfortable.
Um, unless it teaches you like calm, being present, it teaches you how to like be one with yourself. Okay.
Yep. Um, and a lot of horses, if they've had a lot of experience, it's not going to make them nervous, but, um, you know, yeah. They're just, I don't know, they're just amazing. I don't know why horses are like that. You know, many dogs are as well. Now, I don't know about healing. Dogs certainly can serve and be therapeutic. But anyway, horses, I don't know, they just absorb it or something. Interesting.
Yeah, I love it. So do you ride, I mean, every day or as often as possible?
As often as possible. So Sometimes, and it's always dependent on my meeting schedule and the conditions of the trail. So coldness, unless it's below 25, that won't stop me. But like, we're gonna— it's very cloudy and dark here, and if it rains a whole lot, then the trail is going to be too muddy and slippery, and it's just not safe. Okay. So I've ridden the last 4 days in a row. We'll see what happens with the rain this week. The most I'll ride in a row is like 9 or 10 days, and then I just got to give him a break.
Yeah. How long have you had your horse?
I rescued him November of 2014. OK. So I've had him 6 and a half years.
And how old was he?
He now is— you know, we're guessing because I rescued him, but we make good guesses at that, looking at their teeth. Um, he's about 18, so really in the prime of his life.
Yeah, horses. I mean, how long do you usually— I don't— I, I know very little about horses. I— my mom grew up with horses and that her whole family like had horses, but they had them forever. I mean, I even think they still have a couple of the ones that they had, you know, when like the young or the oldest cousins were babies. So I know that like horses have stayed in the family. I just personally don't know a ton about them.
I just think, I mean, I've owned a horse, at least one, um, for 20 years. Um, so I'll always have a horse. Yeah. And Darby, that's his name. That was his— it's bad luck to change a horse's name. That was his name when I rescued him. So, um, he was in bad shape. I mean, he was skin and bones. I mean, you've seen skeletons of horses, you know, that's what he looked like. Bites all over him from the other horses. Teeth were a mess, and teeth are very important for horses. That's why wild horses— 18 would be very old for a wild horse because they don't get their teeth fixed. And that's a whole other subject. He had one shoe broken and embedded in his hoof. I mean, he was just a mess. And it just, it only took me a couple months to bring him back to really good health. Poor guy. Wow.
I'm sure that really instills, I mean, a really special bond between you two.
Yeah. Um, yeah, we really have a lot of trust with each other, and we had a really bad accident in August too. Um, but I just wanted to finish this. Um, you know, the horse I had when I got Darby, I had to put down 3 years ago, and he was 32. So, wow.
And you'd had him from No, I had him—
I've known him since I started riding at that ranch.
Oh, wow. Okay.
In Southern, but I didn't buy him. I don't know the year, but anyway, he's always been— had a special place in my heart. But so well-cared-for domestic horses, unless something happens, which can happen, you know, they can colic, and that's the biggest killer of horses. But they can easily live till their early 30s. Now, the one I had before Darby. I had to put him down at 28. So you just never know.
Yeah.
Okay.
Well, I'm so glad that you shared that. Um, as far as if somebody is listening to this and they are so intrigued because this truly is fascinating, how can they find you and how would they move forward with, with getting their hand analysis?
Okay. Um, probably reach me through my website. Okay. Purpose Whisperer. .com. So get that. See, I'm a horse person. So Purpose Hoof Forever, one of my friends recommended that and I'm like, oh, I love it. Yeah. And I also want to give your listeners a special deal too, if that's okay.
I love that. Absolutely.
For at my level with, you know, because I teach it now and as a master, I'm about average price for a master, which is $497 for the 2 hours and the recordings and everything. But I would like to offer your listeners $100 off that.
Oh my gosh, that's incredible.
Yes, it would only be $397. And again, nobody's ever asked for a refund. It will blow their minds.
Oh, I'm sure. I want to hear, like, whoever— all of my listeners who do this, I'm like, tell me, and I'm going to do it as well. Because this just sounds so incredible. Um, so yeah, after this, you and I will be chatting and setting up a time, but I will get all of this in the description and people can find you, connect with you. Um, because yeah, I, I totally relate. And I'm so glad that we were able to talk about not feeling like you were maybe necessarily fulfilled or living a life of purpose. And I think for me, more than anything, because I mean, sure, I can make 6 figures and it feels great, but making 6 figures or even just living the life that truly brings meaning to you is like a feeling that is incomparable. So right, if somebody can get their hand analysis and change their life, I mean, it's $397, it's priceless.
I always tell people that I don't care how good your life is now, and I hope it's really good, But if you take action on the information at your hands, in your hands, it will get even better.
Yeah.
And before I forget, I know your listeners can't see, but those are the coolest glasses. I love them.
That is so nice. I'm like, I've had these ones for 3 years. The blue light glasses.
Yes, they're so new.
Thank you. But I was thinking, like, I like your style, the more like pointy at the top.
Yes. What do they call this? Cat eye.
Yes, cat eye. Like, I'm more drawn to that. So I was thinking, oh, maybe I'll change it. But now that you've commented, I'm like, maybe I'll just keep—
they're so cool. Well, you can always have two pair, you know.
Yeah, more than one pair is definitely okay. Well, I'm so glad that we got to chat. Um, thank you again so much for taking the time.
Oh, thanks for having me, Kris. It's— I always love talking about this. It's been a ball. You're a great interviewer.
I want you to let me know your biggest takeaway from today's episode, whether that's you sharing it on social or emailing me, DMing me, whatever that looks like to you. Please let me know.
