22 Apr 2025 · 34 min
Podcast episode (Apr 22, 2025) with Adam Lodolce and Dr. Gary Lewandowski presenting 10 specific, playfully framed text-message strategies for women to engage men: visual "saw this, thought of you" messages, asking for a man’s advice, quirky observations, evocative/curiosity prompts, playful challenges and status-elevating lines, pushback/boundary texts (e.g., ‘too soon for that’), and a closing suggestion to point out something unique about him. Emphasis: make texts flirty and memorable, avoid mundane back-and-forths, do not over-rely on response speed, and avoid sending revealing photos until committed.

Your hosts today are myself, Adam Lodolce, professional dating coach and founder of love strategies, and Dr. Gary Lewandowski, a relationship scientist, professor, and our head relationship coach here at Love Strategies. Please share with a friend and enjoy. Gary. Today we're going to be talking about 10 irresistible texts that captivate his interest. What a headline. What a headline that we have today. But today is going to be all about texting. And as we were researching this, I found an interesting study that came out by Christian Mingle and JDate, and they found that more men than women say that mobile devices or texting make it easier to flirt and get acquainted. And the way that I read that and translate that in my own mind is men text a lot. We hear that from clients. They might actually text a little bit too much. And the real question is, how can women actually engage with texting in these guys and then move things offline as soon as humanly possible? I don't know. Is that what you translate this into?
Yeah, it translates to me is that men are getting more and more comfortable with this and women have to step up their game, Right? I mean, they have to get better at this too, because the men are super comfortable. And one of the things I hear from our clients a lot is how many men, especially off coming off the apps, really just seem like they want, like a texting pen pal. And so that's a big one.
Yeah, texting pen pal.
You have to be able to flirt via text. So that's not just a rundown of day to day things, because a lot of these guys are just looking for Someone to talk to and just kind of dump their day on and have, you know, just these mundane conversations. And so you want to be able to up your text game, make it a little flirty so you don't end up being somebody's texting pen pal.
Just to be clear, I feel like when you say women need up their game, I feel like women are going to cringe to that. The way I'm reading that is men are really bad at texting. They text too much in many ways. So the only way to solve this is for women to make it more interesting because we don't coach men. So that's the best we can do here. Is that, is that fair to say?
Yes. Yeah, I mean, I was going to say too. You know, just because the guys are more comfortable doesn't mean they're better at it. It's just that they're. They like the texting. And so you have to be good at texting.
Exactly. And it can be really hard to know what to say or how to say it. I can think of personally, many years ago, back when I was single, of writing a text, then deleting it. This was before Apple would show. If you're like typing so you could like write out the whole text, then delete it and then write it again, delete it. Now you can't even get away with that because they know that you're inputting information. But it can be extremely stressful doing this. And so. And I think it can really lead us to second guess ourselves. And I think the big kicker with texting is that you don't have all of the inputs that you get in real life through communication, the body language. How is he responding to it, how is he negatively responding to it, how's he positively responding to it? And without that kind of feedback loop, it can be really tricky to know is this even working? Like, is this hitting or not? So I was actually talking to a client last night about this, just interestingly, because she was telling me how she sent a text to a guy and didn't hear back for three days. And she was trying to decode if it's the right thing or if it didn't work or what have you. And just as a side note, I should say I. What I told her is I said the easiest way to go insane while you're dating is to determine if a guy likes you based on how long it takes him to respond to your texts. Like, talk about a way to go cuckoo, Right? So before we get into all of this Stuff just remember, like the speed at which he's responding and texting given, let's, let's say it's within a couple days. You know, don't, don't go too crazy trying to determine if the texts are good.
Yeah, I think what makes texting good is you get a chance to think about what you can say. What makes texting difficult is that you get a chance to think about what you can say. And so it can just, I mean, for those of us who are overanalyzers, over worriers, overthinkers, I mean, it's, it's, it's a labyrinth. Like, it is tough. And so what I think happens is when you're in that over analytical mindset, you just kind of, the easiest thing is just default to the basics. The basics are boring, though. And so how many of us end up in these text strings or these back and forths with, how was your day? Good. How was your day? Swell.
How is it boring?
And people say they hate texting. That's why they hate texting. And it's because they're being boring and basic. And so, you know what I like about the topic today is we're going to talk about all the ways to be anything but boring, irresistible, all that good stuff. And so let's get into it.
And just one other thing that I told our client last night is that until you're in little love, step six, until you're an exclusive, committed relationship, texting is really only good for two things. Number one, flirtatious banter. Number two, logistics like, where are we going to meet up? Where are we going to meet up in the real world? Other than that, it's not really the place for like a deep, intense conversation where you're going to understand his greatest vulnerabilities and fear in life. Like, you're just not going to get there over text and don't expect that to happen. So use it as a tool for creating that flirtatious banter. And it. All it does is build some suspense for meeting in real life. That's all, that's all texting is good for. So, Gary, do you want to lead us off with the first one?
Yeah, like before. So we're getting into 10 specific texts. One general point though, because we are going to give you specific wordings and all that kind of stuff, which is great. What I would really just caution everybody listening to is don't write these down and then copy and paste them into your text. With guys like, don't be canned. Don't be a robot. Like, the word. The specific words we use are not magical. As much as I would love to claim that they're magical. The specific words are. The approach is kind of magical. Right. But it's not the words themselves. You have to take what we're saying and make it your own. Right. I did a whole podcast recently on using AI and how people use AI to generate their text and things. It's an atrocious idea, right? It's inauthentic and all this kind of stuff, but, like, you want to make it your own. And the number one thing you want to make sure of is would you actually say this to them if they were standing in front of you in person? And if some of these you're going to be like, yeah, that's not me. And that's fine. We have 10 of them. Like, some of them are going to be hits and some of them may not feel like you, that's fine. But it has to go through that filter of like, would I actually say this to a real life human being if they're sitting in front of me? And if the answer is no, don't do it, don't do it.
Yeah, just on the AI thing, because I know you're super hot on it. We're hiring a lot here at Love Strategies and you get these applications now with like these write ups and you used to just get like a few nice words, like, oh, yeah, of course. I'm super familiar with you now. It's like a 50 page novel written perfectly well and you're like, I know what you're doing. Like, I know ChatGPT exists. Like, don't do that. It's so obvious when it's AI, it's ridiculous. So.
And it's, you know, just as like a little thing, because I do love this topic. It's so contrary to everything we teach people to do in terms of being authentic. Be yourself, be confident, be empowered. It's like, no, no, no. I'm going to farm out all of my creativity and personality to a robot and hope that finds me a non robotic partner.
It makes sense and we digress. So why don't we. I wish I was there for the AI podcast. All right, Gary, lead us off with the first one.
All right, so 10 texts you have to have in your dating toolbox. The first one is again, and remember, this is not typical banter. It's you send a text where you see something. Ideally you snap a picture and you say, saw this and I thought of you. Right? It could be some. Some kind of shared joke, something that you just thought was interesting. Hey, you mentioned you like nature. Here's a picture of a leaf that I found. Anything you want, but make it novel. Make it something cool. It's kind of like a personal Instagram post just for this person where it's a picture, but also like a little commentary and, you know, generally visuals. Like little GIFs. Like all those things, all really, really good to you.
Is it GIFS or gifs?
Gifs. Gifs. Everybody says it's something different. Gif, gif. The little animations.
How about that? Let me tell you the key to Adam's heart, all right? If you are driving by a beach and you see a bunch of kite surfers take a picture, send it to me and say, saw this and thought of you, you're going to make my heart flutter. I'm telling you, like, what a positive text that I would receive from a woman. Oh, my God. Now, of course I'm married, so don't send me those. But that's a good one. So it's always a great one. You can also do pictures of like a restaurant or maybe there's concert. A concert coming up and you see it, take a screenshot on your phone, be like, saw this and thought of you. Just anything that just shows that he's on your mind, you're thinking about him. It's going to create a very positive experience for him.
Yeah.
The second one is I'd love to get your thoughts on something. Going to a man and asking him for advice, and this goes for both genders, is, I think, one of the greatest compliments you can give another human being. This is a really good one to do in general, in life, even outside of romantic relationships. Just going to people and say, you know, I'm. I got this challenge right now and I'd really love your thoughts on this. Like, what would you do? You know, it's going to. It. It shows that you trust their judgment so much that you'd be willing to take the time to get that advice. And it's incredible how rare it is that people actually ask for advice. And it just plays into the male problem solver instinct to want to help. And you're going to see, you know, he's going to get that text, his chest is going to puff up. He's going to say, I got. So I love this one.
For those of you watching on YouTube who got to see Adam's chest puff up, that was something to behold.
I got the text. Yeah.
Well, I Think. What I. What I really like about the I love your thoughts is it shows respect and it shows that, you know, I care what you think, but in a good way, right? It's like, let's have a meaningful connection and respectful and you have good insights. And it's again, you talk about text people don't usually get. It's not something that, you know, suggests respect and valuing of insights. So, yeah, super cool stuff. So the third one is. This is like a. Kind of a witty observation, but it's. It's like a random, just like little quip almost. It's like today's confession, blank, weird observation, fun fact. Ever wonder. And then it's just like, ever wonder why you never see baby squirrels?
I don't know.
Like, whatever it happens, you know, I have a friend who always says, you ever wonder how you never see baby squirrels? And then you're in Central park in New York City, you never see baby pigeons. So random. Funny, right?
I once got a text from a girl who said, ever wonder why men have nipples? And I. I knew the answer to it, but it was pretty funny. Like, it literally just caught me completely off guard. I think I was in the middle of something and I was like, that's good. That's great.
You know, the principles behind these kinds of things is you want to do something new, you want to be interesting, you want to be memorable. Like, you want to stick out. And if it's something that somehow ties back to some conversation you had before, bonus points because it shows you're paying attention. And the. The thing with these texts is you want to give value. You want to give you and the other person something to talk about. That's not just mundane everyday stuff. You start talking about baby squirrels. Another one. The one I always. I. I'll still send this to my wife every time I see it. Is like, ever wonder when you see a sock out in the wild? It's just one.
It's never a pair.
It's never a pair of socks. It's always just one sock. And it's like, I always put like, Mia other sock. Like, I don't know. It's just like a funny little thing.
And definitely.
But it's, you know.
You know, it's the opposite of doing this. If you haven't heard from a guy in a week and text him, why haven't I heard from you? Why haven't I heard from you? What a more fun way to. To text a guy and just be like, the sock thing, that's. That's Hilarious. It's really funny, you know, and it has nothing to do with any. It's just. It's just a funny moment. And it creates again, that. That fun, playful banter. Who can't respond to that? Like, I.
It wouldn't.
It would be impossible. Even if I was completely uninterested in a woman.
Right.
I would still have to respond to that. Not that we want guys who aren't interested in responding, but you get my point. Like, it is just. It's funny. It's.
It's interesting, but it's also, again, what you just said is it. You're giving something that invites response. It makes it very, very easy to respond to. And that's what we want. That's what we want in these. These texting exchanges.
Yeah. Are you ready to attract that perfect guy in 2024? Well, if so, I have something very special for our podcast listeners.
If you.
If you go to adore 2024, you're going to get a free training that walks you through the 24 principles to attract that man you adore in 2024. God, I sound like a presidential candidate. But you get the point. Again, head over to adore2024.com and claim your free training. I think you're going to really enjoy that. All right, let's get back to the podcast. The next one is. Do you know what I find fascinating about you, or do you know what I find interesting about you? Pause. Engaging question. There is not a man on the planet who is. You know, I think my initial response would be like, would be something weird about myself. I don't know, but at least it would be, you know, is it that I wake up at 5:00am and, you know, every morning and, I don't know, walk around my sweatpant boxer shorts? I don't know, whatever. It would be something weird, but he'd at least be like, what?
What?
You know, I love this one. This is. I think this is a Gary original.
Yeah. Because I. Every man on the planet is answering this text. Doesn't matter. You know, I find fascinating with you. What?
What?
Because it's either he either thinks it's something good and he wants to hear about that, or he thinks it's something weird and he wants to hear about that even more. Right. And it's a great conversation starter. And anybody who's confident likes to hear weird stuff, too. Like, it. It's. It's a winner. I. I absolutely love it.
Also, just think about it, like, if you received any of these texts From a guy, you'd feel the same way. Like, you'd be. If a guy said send that to you, you'd be like, ooh, right? What. What do you find interesting about me? Tell me more. Do tell. Do tell.
Yeah. All right, so the fifth one is kind of a playful challenge. It's. They say. They say something and you say, you. You text back, like, you're gonna have to do better than that. Right. Like, they're trying to, you know, set up a date or something. It's like, oh, that sounds fun, but you might have to do just a little bit better than that. And it's. You got to make it clear that it's playful. It's like. It's like a fun challenge. What's nice about these fun challenge ones is it creates a balance of power. It's, hey, I can pick on you. And we can kind of go back and forth because we're at the same level. It's not that we're at different levels, which is very important.
Yeah. I once texted a girl this when I was in my 20s, and it was the same day date. Like, I had met her the previous weekend or something like that. I remember this pretty specifically, and I don't think we texted that much, but it was like, this was before I was a code. I was clueless. And I texted on a Friday at like 2pm and was like, hey, want to grab a drink around, like, 5? And she immediately just responds like, you're going to have to do a lot better than that if you want to take me out. And I was like, ah. Like, in my eyes, it just elevated her status to such a level. I'm like, I will do better than that. I will prove you wrong and I will do better. I will be a better man.
I love that you had that antidote, because I do think there's a certain number of people who hear this idea, and it's like, I can't do that. That's going to, like, offend him. It's like, no, it's not. Not the. Not the right guy. It's going to be like, oh, you need to. I can do better and I will do better for you. Like, it's. It's such a nice way of, like, reshaping the way we think about these dynamics. It's very empowering. And I think that's super important.
Yeah. And really, it drafts us into the next one, which is, look, I know I'm a catch. What's not clear yet is, are you now this is again, this These are very strong texts, and you wouldn't want to have a back to back. You're gonna have to do better than that. And then go into. I know I'm a catch. What. What's not clear yet is, are you. You have to calibrate these things a little bit, right? You don't want to. What's that?
Space them out.
Yeah, space them out a little bit. And use when appropriate. Like, if a guy is really investing in you and he's showing up and he's doing his best to actually win you over, that's probably not the time to use these types of texts. The. This type of a text, though, is very, very powerful. When a man is not showing up, when he's being flaky, when he's, you know, pulling away and it's just clearly not really all there, he doesn't have his stuff together, that's when you would use this text to once again elevate your status and see whether or not he can rise to the occasion. And if he can't rise to the occasion, what do we say? Four letter magic word next? Moving on. Let's do it.
Because guys are being flaky and it's a little bit of a power play. It's a little bit to see what he can get away with. And so these kind of texts are really nice ways of pushing back on that. And I think your point is really important is that we put these together in the list because they're similar themes. But this doesn't mean you should just layer the same, you know, playful banter, playful challenge. You need to do better than that all at once because it's going to be too much. You actually kind of want to flip flop between some of these different strategies. Like, hey, have you ever noticed this? And then, you know, when. If he's pulling back, you push back on some of these things. But it's like, you know, I know I'm a good listener. I know I'm great on a first date. I know I'm charming. I know I'm the real deal. I know I'm funny. I know I'm great at relationships, any of those things. Own it. And, you know, be confident and then say, but are you? And then make him prove it. Make him rise to the challenge. Guys like challenges, like, make them rise to the challenge.
But this, like, just to be clear, this is a playful banter text. This isn't like, to be done in a serious way.
Like, it's not throwing down the gauntlet. What's that it's not throwing down the gauntlet of, like, you must rise up to.
Exactly. It sends a subtle message. It's like an undercurrent of a message. But the big message is that you're being playful and you're having some fun. So some people and men do this as well, probably even more than women. They just kind of misread the situation and they overdo it. So again, just use these appropriately. But if you. If it's used correctly, it is incredibly fun. And it really does kind of like level out the power dynamic, which is.
Which is very fun and so very much on this theme. The seventh one is a different kind of pushback. It's the pushback that some guys are going to push the envelope, push the line, so to speak, where they want to be a little too sexual, a little too soon. Right. And they. They send an emoji, a picture. They say something that's inappropriate.
Picture.
Gary, I'm not gonna say I don't want to get a R rating on this podcast.
Adam, why do men do that? I've never understood that.
I don't understand.
I've never understood why men send pictures of their genitalia. I have a funny side story on that. Know, I'm going to digress for a.
Second, but go for it.
I think everyone's going to enjoy this. I was once at a party with a friend. He's still kind of a friend today. He's a French friend, but we were at a party at his house.
I gotta tell you this, I'm very nervous about this story already.
And on his television screen, he was playing images from his phone on. At the party. There's like 20 people there. And you know how you can do that on the TV and just like, play random images on your phone and. And out of nowhere, must have hit a folder. And it was just all depicts, like, just. And we're all sitting there, just like, everyone is laughing hysterically. He wasn't in the room. And then he comes in. He's like, what? We're like, dude, what is this? Why are you doing? He's like, oh. And he, like, scrambled to get on his phone and, like, remove it. And we're like. It just showed so much about this human being. Like, everyone. Everyone that we've, like, we're friends with were there and we're. It was the top of conversation for, like five years. It's still the top of conversation. It was like 15 years ago.
Literally showed a lot.
Oh, it. It like, wasn't even flattering. And I'm like, I sat him down. I really did. Because I was like, why?
Why?
Like, women don't want to see that. Like, the male genitalia is not like, hot like that. Like, I had to. Like, I was questioning him and wanting to know why. And then I was also teaching him at the same time, and he was. It wasn't coming through. He's like, no, it's great. Like, they're super. I'm like, no, they're not, dude.
No, no. No one wants to see bushels and bushels of eggplant. They just don't care.
No. Like, the female body is a beautiful, wonderful thing. I don't recommend women sending pictures, but if they do, I don't recommend that clients please don't do that. But if they do, at least it's a beautiful, elegant, wonderful thing. Typically, you know, in lingerie or something like that. Like, I don't know. Maybe I'm just. I'm very biased because obviously I'm attracted to women. But I think if we took a poll of women, I would venture to say you're the scientist, but I would say 95 of them would say they don't like D picks. That would be my. That would be my number.
I bet there's a lot more sculptures in the world of women figures than there are of male figures. Yes, particularly of those areas. For sure.
Yeah, exactly.
So I guess what we're saying is, ladies, there's a pretty good chance one of Adam's friends is going to send you something inappropriate.
He's probably gonna send me something inappropriate. Luckily, definitely not listening to this podcast.
So. So when and if that happens, you to have this text in your toolbox, which is something along the lines of, nope, too soon for that. If you're lucky, maybe we'll get to that in a month on day four and day five. Something like you can kind of set a time. You can. You don't even have to put the timetable in. But it's. Nope, too soon for that. Maybe you'll get there eventually. Winky face, Bl. You know, something. Some kind of emoji to soften it. But it's play it off like, particularly the first time, because it's not. He's doing it because it's worked before. It's not necessarily a commentary about you specifically, particularly the very first time when you push back and give him a boundary. If he does it again now, it is much more about him. But that first time. Benefit of the doubt. Nope, too soon for that. Maybe we'll get to that eventually winky face that defuses the situation, and then you can comfortably move on from there.
Yeah. And I should say, like, if he does send you a nude pic, like, I think that I would not. If that happened to a client, I would say, look, this is up to you if you want to set boundaries, but if you want to walk away, I would totally respect that. I think this text in particular is really helpful when a guy is just using sexual innuendos a little too soon. Like, for example, if a guy asks you before you even met, like, what's your favorite position in bed? That's where it's like, super inappropriate to ask that question at this stage. But he just might not know better. And this is the time to set a hard boundary, you know, at this point. And this is a really healthy way to do this now if you set the boundary, you say it and then again he's like, no, but really, like, do you like doggy style or do you like missionary? It's like, nope, no. Because this man will be an awful, awful boyfriend, an awful husband, awful partner, because he cannot adhere to the boundaries in which I set. So I think this is, this is a good one and this is a really important one. Don't feel like you have to get sucked into his level of sensuality or sexuality too soon if you're not really there. So.
Yeah.
What's that? Okay.
I was gonna say yeah, because he's gonna push and, you know, you just got to push back. And the right guys respect you pushing back.
Absolutely. Gary, I think the next one is yours, so why don't you do that one?
So this one's like a little bit of a challenge as well, because I. I just think guys respond really well to playful challenges, particularly in a flirting context. This one is life's all about choices. And going out with you was a good one. Can't wait to see what you plan next. And so this is the perfect after date text, right? Because after you go out and you see, like, you have to send something to acknowledge you had a good time. And everyone sends the same text. Had a great time. Hope to see you again. It's like, eh, eh, Boring, basic, right? This one gives a little value. Life's about choices. I just made a good one by spending some time with you tonight. Can't wait to see what you have planned for us next. Now gives them a little bit of a challenge.
I love this text. I honestly, until you fully explained it, I didn't full. It didn't fully click. But man, this is going to become a part of our curriculum, I think, because that is. That's good. That's good. It really appeals to our competitive nature and wanting to step up and wanting to make it better even the next time. That gives me. That gives you. If a woman sent me that text, the next date would be 10x, just, like, immediately. There's no doubt.
Well, and you can do, you know, instead of can't see, can't wait to see what you have planned next. You can also go with who knows where this is going, but you're off to a good start. Keep it up, right? It's just like a little. Little challenge. A little encouragement, too.
I'm going to be texting you later today. I want some of that validation. Give me some of those vibes, baby. Come on. I'm going to be like a. Hey, what. What you up to? And just see what I can get.
And then, Adam, I'm going to send you text number nine, which is. Are you always like this? You're such a dork. This is literally our ninth suggested text, which is like, again, playful poking. Like they're going to say something dumb, and it's fine to call them on it. You do it in a funny kind of way. Like, is this really how you are? Are you always such a nerd? And you use nerd and dork because it's clearly not serious when you're using those terms that you mean it genuine, right? Like that you're actually accusing them of this. It's like, you're such a nerd sometimes. Guilty.
Yeah. No, I love that one. I had a girl once call me a dork. I mean, I've been called a dork many times in my life, but I've one time had someone call me a dork, and then she followed up with, but I really like dorks. And I was like, oh, little backhanded compliment. I'm into that. All right. I'll be dorky because I am a dork in some ways. So I. I love it. And then leading us to the final one is, like, a little insider secret on this one. I bet no one has ever told you this, but. And you can then explain something, some type of unique perspective, something that you've kind of discovered about that. That guy that maybe he hasn't thought about. And you could find something in their profile or their pictures that you find, like, really noteworthy or interesting or quirky, something that you can really compliment. I love this one. And the key to this is that you see something in him that no one else does. Right. If he can feel seen, he can feel heard. This is what makes you special to him. Right. I love this one.
Yeah, there's. There's something great about a text that says something nice about the other person, but also shows. Look at you. You see something about me that not everybody else picked up on. You see me in a way that I would like to see myself, that maybe I don't currently see myself. And that makes me now think you're a way to help me get there. And so it's like, it's aspirational. It's like it's empowering to him for you to point some of these things out and then you become the conduit, the way to help him get there. Because, like, wow, no one's ever really seen this about me. You see this? I saved this one for the last one because I think this one is super powerful.
I had this happen recently and it was with Coach Robin in a non romantic sense. I know she was on the POD recently and we were talking about spirituality because she's highly spiritual. She's not necessarily religious, but spiritual. And she is religious to a degree. And I was like, you know, I'm non religious. I'm not sure how much I want to intertwine spirituality and what we do. And we kind of were debating and she stops and she says, adam, I bet no one's ever told she said something like this. I bet no one's ever told you this before, but you are extremely spiritual. You just don't know it. And I'm like, ooh, tell me, tell me more. Extremely spiritual. And it was one of those moments where I'm like, maybe I am spiritual. Maybe I just haven't unders. Maybe I just have a. An attachment to the word that is. Has a negative connotation. Maybe I just have this negative connotation with the word spiritual. And it was a really interesting conversation. Completely reframed my whole belief system about spirituality. And I felt very close to her at that moment. It was a very cool moment.
Yeah, because she's seen something in you that's perhaps underdeveloped, underappreciated, that you wouldn't mind improving on or emphasizing to a greater degree. And because she said that to you, you now see her as a way of like, oh, she can help keep emphasizing this trait and bringing this out. And isn't that what we want in our part? You know, I talk all the time about relationship synergy, and synergy is when two amazing people find each other and generously share their lives together. And it's like finding a partner who can help bring out the best sides of you that you know about and develop the ones that you maybe don't even fully appreciate yet yourself. That is the definition of the ideal partner. And so this kind of text really helps bring that out.
Absolutely. And let's end it with the texts we should never send. Gary.
Yeah, and so, you know, we were. This is 10 irresistible text to get a guy's attention without sending revealing pictures. Do not send revealing pictures. Don't send. Don't make it sexual. Don't make it about physical stuff as much as possible, because you don't need to. His mind is already going there. Don't encourage him. Don't do anything that's going to just give him permission to make this exchange. Make your relationship about superficial, physical things. Focus on character, personality, and growth.
The only caveat I would have is until you're in little love. Step number seven, if you like to dirty talk and dirty text and you want to do that, that's fine. I would never recommend sending naked pictures to anyone. Any picture you take and send to any human being, expect that it'll be on the Internet. Not saying it will be, but it could be. But if it's just something sexual or sensual, save it for when you're in a loving, committed relationship and a partnership that is really based on commitment. You got to have that commitment piece. And until he gets to that point, he hasn't earned it yet. So send some of these texts. Let us know how it goes. Is a really fun podcast, Gary. I feel better coming out of this podcast. I don't know.
You're such a dork. You're such a dork.
