Hi everyone, this is a new introduction to the Just in Time podcast. It used to be a presentation in French, it used to be in Spanish, and now for these 4— yeah, this is the 4 years anniversary. I decided to do it in English. This podcast was created during the pandemic in 2020. The idea was to have a platform so that I could go walking and talking about different topics and inviting friends all over the world and people I actually didn't know. And as you must probably know already, my name is Mélanie Berthaud. I was born in the south of France. France. I have the honor to be a mother of the most beautiful, clever, sensitive, and courageous being, and I'm a daughter too. I've been living alone since I'm 17. I have been a psychoanalyst for over 19 years, a hypnotherapist recently, and a yoga meditation teacher over the last 10 years, and I'm a yoga practitioner over the last 25 years. I'm a 500-hour registered yoga teacher in Yoga Alliance and also have been a kids teacher for 15 years and a teacher since I'm 20 years old. I've got a UK master in European studies. I actually wrote a thesis in psychoanalysis, but before that another thesis on the economic reconstruction of Bosnia-Herzegovina. Psychoanalysis afterwards was my decision. It's my life mission, therapy and helping people, and actually very much women. These people who come around and see me are generally women. It's not that I chose it, it's just what life mission presented itself to be. So I wrote a thesis and I have a specialty in sexual traumas from the University of Paris. as well as a degree of political science beforehand and a recent degree in hypnosis. I love animals, nature. I love reading philosophy, literature, and science. And I offer therapy in Spanish, French, and English in presence and online. And I'm, I'm not actually taking new patients. I created too a platform which offers Several solutions like yoga, meditation, online self-education. This podcast belongs to this platform. The platform is called Just In Time. You can find it www.justintime.org. And it's also actually an app. It's been an app for the last year and a half. So this podcast reflects actually all my passions. I'm passionate about psychology, about learning very much so from books as well as from mistakes. I'm a big fan of that, as I wrote on my Instagram post recently. I also could be a thanatologist as I have had to go through so much grieving in my life, but I'm not. However, I do listen to many patients who are working through mourning and grieving, who are going through that, and I also deeply enjoy teaching yoga and meditation every morning at 7 AM online. And now I'm recently contemplating studying a formal degree in philosophy. And what I think sums up, sums Yeah, it sums up the best the way I evolve in life is that I think that despite all I studied, I really wake up every morning remembering I do not know anything, applying the Socratic principle, and I just feel blessed to be able to learn everything. So this is the reflection of this podcast. You're very welcome to let your opinion reflected in this podcast, writing your comments after each episode, or you also can write me through Instagram or through the platform www.justinetime.org. See you very, very soon and listen to you too. You can also leave a message, an audio message in the podcast. It's not that easy, but some people have done it. Bye-bye.
