Wealth can trap your mind if you're constantly anxious about money. Speaker A argues true freedom means peace of mind, while Speaker B notes people often learn this lesson only after loss or health crises. They discuss how repeated hardships, framed as "divine assignments," can teach what comfort never will.
Wealth can absolutely be a prison of our own. And one of the 4 freedoms that I talk about is freedom of mind, because you can have all the money in the world, but if you're staring at the ceiling at 2 AM worried about the market crashing, do you truly have wealth? Yeah, I would argue no.
And I think the only time you really have these realizations is when you go through the shit and you lose someone close to you or have your health taken from you from a heart attack or something. But I've seen people that have 2 bypass surgeries that are still out there grinding. Everybody learns at their own timeline.
Totally. I'm trying to get better at learning the first time or the second time the universe presents me with a lesson. Our friend Dan gave me a word for that the other day— divine assignments.
