Fulfillment comes from aligning your actions with your values, not from chasing money or happiness. Identify your core values, then shape your finances and schedule around them. Money becomes a byproduct of solving problems for others, not the goal itself.

Most of us are taught that we just need to get as much money as we possibly can, and that's going to make us happy. Well, if that doesn't work, what is it we should be solving for? I would argue that it's fulfillment, not happiness. Happiness is a fleeting emotion. Happiness is a trap. Fulfillment is created when we align our actions to our values. I want to determine what I value first, and then I want to align my bank account and my calendar to serving my values. That's how we create long-term fulfillment. If we're truly living in alignment, then money just becomes a byproduct. It becomes a byproduct of solving problems. It becomes a byproduct of serving people. Money becomes a tool for creating the life that we want.
