The speaker holds two beliefs at once: they're perfect as they are, and there's always more to learn. They cite "The wiser we become, the less wise we feel" and say life starts at 40, using this paradox to stay grounded despite success.

Best way to stay grounded is just realizing that there's always more to learn and that there's always more to improve. I try to hold two beliefs at the same time. Number one, that I am perfect and whole just the way that I am, and that there's always more that I can learn in the future. The quote that I live by is, "The wiser we become, the less wise we feel." That is certainly true for me. I say all the time that life starts at 40, and I certainly don't know everything, but I've learned a lot and I'm incredibly grateful for those experiences. At this point, I'm just opening up to the idea of what it is that I don't know. The way I keep myself grounded despite success and despite wealth is really just maintaining that idea that there's always more to learn. And even though I am completely whole and good with how I am now, I can always be just a little bit better. And that's something that I ponder every day and look for ways that I can just improve that little bit, but also stay in this place of gratitude and realize that I am perfect just the way I am.
