There's one thing that separates the best coaches in the world from everyone else. And the same thing goes for entrepreneurs and investors. And that's the practice of asking genuinely curious questions. I've been fortunate enough to work with some of the best coaches on the planet, but my longtime mentor, Philip McKernan, is the one who really helped me understand the power of the curious question. And something that I deeply respect and try and emulate is not being attached to an outcome. And when I'm working with a client, ask those deeply curious questions and be curious about the answer and not try and lead someone because that's not how we unlock their inner wisdom. Most people have a deep knowing, and as a coach, the best thing we can do is help them arrive at their own inner wisdom. And the only way we can do that is by keeping an open mind.
