carried a certain arrogance that only someone who has never failed at anything could possibly carry. And to have that all stripped away in a single kind of cataclysmic event, I believe was one of the greatest gifts of my entire life. Because it gave me, it gave me two things. Number one, it gave me the permission to fail. And actually, I was keeping myself small because I was so afraid of failure. And the other thing is it gave me an empathy and a humility that allows me to connect with people on a whole different level.
