So when you look at money is the root of all evil, one of the oldest money stories ever told, it's deep in our religious texts. A rich man can't enter the gates of heaven, things like that. So we've been told this from a very young age. And the other thing is it's not polite to talk about money in society, right? There's only 3 things you're not supposed to discuss: politics, religion, and money. So what that allows us to do is suffer in silence. We all have these money struggles. We all are buying things that we don't need with money that we don't have to impress people we don't like. And then we can't talk about how much debt we're in because it's impolite dinner conversation. There is so much conflicting information paired to the fact that we're actually not wired to even be able to grok the concept of wealth anyway. Wow, what a confusing place to live in.
