Starting a newsletter business is a great way to make money and share what you know with others. But to make it work, there's three big things that you need to focus on. Getting readers, finding a place to send your emails from, and writing good content. So let's go through each one step by step. Your newsletters won't go anywhere if no one reads it. That's why the first step is to figure out where your readers are online. Are they watching videos on YouTube? Are they engaging on LinkedIn? Hanging out in Facebook groups? Or maybe they like reading articles on medium or their TikTok videos. Once you know where they are, you can go there and start sharing helpful stuff to catch their attention. For example, on YouTube, you can make short videos with tips about your topic. On LinkedIn, you can jump into the comments. If you're on Facebook, join a group where people are talking about your topic and share your advice. Engage. Give value. Now you want to know a secret to get people to sign up? Ask them to, right? In all seriousness, you'd be shocked how many people don't ever tell people about their newsletter. They don't ever say, hey, I've got this newsletter sign up, right? You can build it, but if you don't tell them about it, they won't come. All right? So once you have readers, you need a tool to send them your emails and keep track of your subscribers, right? This is your email system. I usually set this up for all my newsletter fast track clients. It helps you grow your email subscribers, send newsletters, and even monetize your audience. Now the last step is creating emails that your readers will actually love. Right? Don't overthink this. Don't get too complicated with it. Here are four things your email newsletters should do. 1. Give value. Teach your readers something new or help them solve a problem. Very simple way. Number two is show your personality. Write like you're talking to a friend. Share your thoughts and stories to make your emails fun and personable. Now, number three is build trust. Be honest and consistent. If people trust you, they're going to likely stick around and actually engage with you. And the fourth one? Make an offer. This doesn't have to be every newsletter, but don't be scared to ask your subscribers to do business with you. For example, if your newsletter is about healthy cooking, you could share easy recipes or tips for saving time in the kitchen or and your own stories about how you use these tips in your life to make it even more relatable, right? And then say, hey, look, if you like this recipe, you should check out my cookbook, right? Starting a newsletter might seem like a lot of work, but if you focus on getting readers, choose a good email platform and write great emails, you will build something amazing. And now if you're worried about writing great emails, don't, because there's ways with AI in today's environment that'll help do it for you so it comes out great. Hey, if you gain value from this video, do me a favor like comment or share. I'd greatly appreciate it to help other people gain value from this as well. Thank you.
