A short excerpt from a YouTube episode (Episode 385 /w Sean McDowell) in which a single speaker reacts with shock to statistics about sexual choking: that nearly two-thirds of women reported being choked by a partner during sex (one-third in their most recent encounter), and that 40% of those first experienced it between ages 12–17. The speaker raises concern about where the behavior is learned and explicitly names pornography as a likely influence.

I don't know any other way to put it that that just stuns me and it shocks me. They said nearly 2/3 of women said a partner had choked them during sex, one third in their most recent encounter. The rate of those women who said they were between the ages of 12 and 17 the first time that happened had shot up to 40%. Now, where do people get the idea that choking is good and right and okay to do in sex? There is one od obvious elephant in the room, and it's porn.
