A short excerpt from a YouTube talk arguing that 'Pure Desire' confronts widespread sexual brokenness, which affects communities and youth; the speaker emphasizes that individual effort alone (‘trying harder’) won’t fix the problem and calls for receiving help within community settings to increase disclosure and recovery.

Pure desire addresses the plague that we're living in. And because of this, it's nationwide. It's streaming down to our kids. These young kids are getting bombarded at schools, even here at churches. And that just trying harder is not going to work because we're broken in community. We need to receive help in community. The more that it gets exposed, the more people are willing to come forward.
