A short talk (YouTube) by Nick Stumbo addressing a Christian audience about the observed link between pornography use and mental health. The speaker argues that pornography and mental health problems are interconnected and should be addressed together rather than as separate issues in Christian support contexts.
And you just see it's like this line of more porn equals more unhealth. And whether that's the porn is causing the mental unhealth or the mental health is causing the porn, it's like, well, either way, they're connected. And so if we want to help people's mental health, let's deal with pornography. And vice versa. If we want to deal with pornography, let's. Let's help them in their mental health. And not, I think we have been guilty as Christians as kind of treating these all as separate items. And, well, let's help Christians with this, let's help Christians with that. And in seeing in the report, we need to help Christians see how all this is connected.
