That was the first time where I actually felt heard, seen, loved on, cared for. It didn't matter what I was bringing to the table. Those guys were just there to support and care for me. And growing up and feeling and living in isolation and then stepping into a spot where it's like, wow, I am gonna be vulnerable. I go into this group, I was like, wow, these guys aren't looking past me. They're looking at me, looking in my eyes, loving on me, caring for me. It didn't matter what I did. It was the first time it's like, wow, this is, this is what real community looks like. I don't have to hide behind sports or anything like that anymore. It's like I can come as I am and just be me.
