How do I choose content topics for my social media

Nir Zavaro outlines a five-pillar framework (branding, messaging, marketing, customer journey, sales) to anchor all content. Record one hour per month covering these pillars, transcribe and refine into 20+ pieces across platforms using tools like Opus.clip. Mix in personal posts to humanize your brand.

These are the things you will never be able to shut up about if someone asks you. Hello everyone. Welcome back to my channel. My name is Nir Zavaro. I think this is episode 6. We're doing pretty good, aren't we? Getting along with those episodes. As you guys are prepping for 2026, the question I get asked the most is how much content and what types of content should we create? I thought it would be a great way to help you. Are you ready? Because we're gonna simplify a lot of things. Here goes. Number 1, what we need to focus on is the high level, the 35,000 feet concepts, the content we want to talk to. Here it is, and this is how you do it. 5 pillars. You can do 3 or 4 if you feel you have less, but in general, I suggest 5 and I'll explain why. For me, by the way, it is about branding, messaging, marketing, customer journey, and sales. True, messaging could be very small in comparison to a customer journey or sales, but they are all connected. These are the topics, the pillars that I want to talk to you the most. I want to repeat them. Constantly. These are the things I talk about in my books. These are the things I talk about in my workshops and my keynotes. These are the things that I sell my consulting sometimes. These are the things that I want to be known for as Nir Zavaro, the business storyteller. If you have a business that does some sort of a solution for lawyers, what would be the topics you want to talk about? For example, we're working with companies doing shipment and logistics. What are the topics or what are the products or services you want to talk about. Remember, these are the things you will never be able to shut up about if someone asks you. Again, I'm now talking specifically about your business, and these will be the main pillars. And in each one of those, I assume you can talk about some things, subtopics that you can talk about. Make a list. These are the 4 or 5 pillars, and underneath them, please try and add at least 4 or 5 subtopics. These are things you can talk about for 3, 4, 5 minutes. Same as I can talk to you about now about content creation. It's a subtopic under marketing. I'll probably record a masterclass about it next month. So now we have about 20 subtopics out of the 4 or 5 pillars we've selected. And I think you can probably Talk about them for hours. So keep creating the subtopics if you want, but if not, take that piece and say, these are the things I want to talk to you about for the next 3 minutes.
Take notes, write them, ideas that if we go on a podcast and I'll ask you, can you talk about it and be interesting? The easiest way for me is to open a camera and I'll record it, a draft. I don't need to show it to anyone. I can transcribe it, see what I like or don't like, record it again and again. And after a while, guess what? I'll have a very good 2 or 3-minute video. And this is the same thing we're doing with my clients all over the world. 2 or 3-minute good video that will become a transcription, that will become the short posts, that will become the blog, that will become another article on Medium. And now we're starting to move and shift each video, a 3-minute video. And again, I'm not talking about doing an hour webinar. I'll do another video about that. Each 2 to 4, 5-minute video will do a few things for you. One, it will make you more coherent and concise about the things you want to talk about. Second, it will allow you to create a lot of content. That one video can be repurposed on different platforms in a bit of a different way. That will already give you somewhere between 4, 5 to 10 to 12 pieces of content. From those, maybe you can cut a few Shorts.
If you think you can't, you're right. And if you think you can, you just might.
You can use Opus.clip. I think it's amazing. It's not expensive. Again, I don't know what expensive is for you, but when you're seeing all the amounts of shit we need to add, so from platforms and Gmail and whatever, it all adds up.
So Opus isn't an expensive platform in my opinion. It will help you AI everything, caption, zoom. B-rolls if you want, and so on. When you extract the text, that will become your article and your blog posts. And then you cut that into snippets that will become another 3 or 4 posts, rewrite them, add different pictures. My friends, you can achieve from one video probably about 20 good pieces of content over the next 3 months. So if you record 1 hour once a month, 1 hour of those 5 pillars, and each of them has one subtopic, it's not a lot. It's 5 videos. In 3 months, you'll have so much content and so many chances or abilities to test what you've created that it's almost doing a live A/B testing. Then find what hits, what clicks, repeat it. If you see that something clicks, resonates with people on YouTube, for example, then you can open a camera and do another 3 or 4 subtopics. Again, you don't— it's not a must, but if you do it, it's an amazing solution. And It's funny because oftentimes during my workshops, people ask, well, what can we talk about? How can we create content? Forget about the quality. The quality of the video could be like this. I'm doing it my style. I like it. And I am trying to get better week over week over week. What I'm offering you is the chance or the ability to practice creating a lot of content, becoming better as a storyteller, and A/B testing what works, what resonates with your audience.
Once every 3 months, we sit down, we take a look at what we did. And we can say, let's change something.
We have a new feature.
We have a new platform.
We have an addition. We want to talk about something a bit different this quarter. And if you keep the 2 or 3 main pillars and pivot a little bit, amazing.
By the way, on your own personal website, on your own personal LinkedIn and stuff like that, if you want to talk about other stuff, that is also great. For me, it's about my daily coffee on Instagram. Sometimes I post on Twitter about things I want to, I I feel like I want to talk about. And sometimes on Facebook, I talk about the fact that I'm a huge, huge Formula 1 fan and what I think about races. You can do whatever you want. The idea is to create content, be relatable, and learn what works. As always, if you need anything, if you're not certain about something, please feel free to reach out. I'm always here to help. One ask, if I may. Send me some more questions. I'm really enjoying these things. I'm hoping that January, we will start the live version of this show. And then it'll be nice to see you on the show, answer your specific questions, and let's make this epic. It's gonna be fun. It's gonna be nice. So enjoy the last weeks of 2025, 2026. Hopefully it's gonna be the best one yet. I'll see you soon. Enjoy. Please keep writing, keep telling good stories. See you next time.
Bye.
