In this vlog, the creator shares five practical, everyday strategies to maintain a positive mindset while living in quarantine. The speaker begins by acknowledging the difficulty of the situation and then outlines each tip: (1) keep a consistent daily routine—wake up at the same time, follow basic hygiene and coffee habits; (2) dress as if going to work, which shifts mental framing and adds a sense of normalcy; (3) prioritize physical movement, aiming for a step goal (e.g., 10,000 steps) and using a smartwatch or phone to prompt walking during calls or breaks; (4) avoid rigid, all‑day schedules that can cause frustration, instead focusing on small, achievable wins like laundry or a single email; and (5) learn something new each day, ranging from hobbies to language or video‑editing skills, to keep the mind engaged. The speaker also shares personal metrics (e.g., 15,000 steps) and invites viewers to comment, like, and subscribe. The overall tone is informal, encouraging, and supportive, aiming to help viewers feel more active and optimistic during lockdown.

Hey, so in this video I think it's time we talk a little bit about how to keep yourself positive while you're staying in quarantine. Ready? Let's start. Let me give you a tip. I'm a sure thing. So hello everyone, how's it going? Hope you're fine whether you're at home in another country. Hope you are dealing with the situation. I know it is not easy. We're definitely feeling the vibes. So my decision was that I'm gonna stick to 10,000 steps a day. The last couple of days I've done over 15,000 steps, which makes me feel good. And I thought now it's a good time to look at a few tips that I've learned over the past 8, 9, yeah, 10 days maybe. Let's start with tip number 1. So I believe it is very, very important to keep a normal routine. Wake up at the same hour, guys. Put your alarm clock, wake up whether you want to, you don't, weekend, weekday, you have no idea anyways because you're stuck at home. Exercise, brush your teeth, have coffee, whatever you need that will help you stay focused. Tip number 2, which is a bit strange, I know, is something I figured out on the second day, is waking up and getting dressed. So I'll do my exercise, I'll take a shower, and then I'll dress as if I'm going to work, like literally going to work. And that kind of puts me in a different mindset. I have left my house even though I'm in this tiny apartment and I am moving to something a bit different. Shoes, that's a big difference. Get dressed, guys, it helps. Number 3, stop watching Netflix and move. Every time you have a call, every time you have to do something, either you have, um, I don't know, a smartwatch or your phone, have a pacing app and just start walking. Don't do 10,000 steps, just do a little bit than you did yesterday. If you did 500, 600, that's 10,000, whatever you want. It makes you feel good. It makes you feel like you're actually moving your body, and it might help you motivate to do other stuff. Definitely move. Number 4, this is a don't do something. A lot of people are creating a schedule in the morning, and then when we talk at nighttime, they feel frustrated as they have not done the schedule, and they say, I haven't gotten to do anything that I planned. You're in quarantine, why plan? Just do whatever you want. And if you have certain things, create them into small wins. You need to do the laundry, you need to send an email, you need to do this. But everyone to his own, and I trust you know what you're doing. Number 5. So I decided to try and learn something new every day. Could be small, could be big. If you love, I know, cards, Dungeons and Dragons, Watch a documentary. Learn a new language. If you're dreaming about snorkeling somewhere exotic and you need to learn all the stuff about how to get there, that might take a while. Meditate. Yeah, so I've decided to start learning how to edit and improve my YouTube skills and my camera skills, which I truly am getting better but will take time. Stick with me, be patient. So these are my 5 tips to how you can improve your life in quarantine and look at stuff a bit more positively. I am trying to break my record today of walking more and crossing the step achievement I had yesterday. Will keep you posted. Have tips? Have ideas? Feel free, reach out, comment, like, subscribe. Thank you very much for sticking with me. Bye-bye.
