Building a loyal audience that trusts you

A short, practical YouTube monologue (by Amy Guy) about building a loyal affiliate audience through authenticity and repeated, detailed product recommendations. Key tactics: try and test products and show both wins and failures; use a "group-chat" recommendation tone; share testimonials and star ratings; document product results (before/after) and sizing/consistency details; show up consistently and reshare products (speaker estimates ~7 touches before a sale). The guidance emphasizes long-term consistency rather than overnight results.

So let's dive into step three, building a loyal audience that really, really trust you. So by now you have chosen your affiliate platform, you've set it up and optimize your bio and now you want to start selling right. And you want to build a loyal audience that knows where to find your products that really trust you. And when they're looking for something, maybe their go to destination is your affiliate platform. So how do we do that? We do that by trying and testing products. And what you have to remember here is like this needs to be super genuine. You don't have to share every single amazing product. The way people trust you is by sharing products that maybe actually you don't really love or that didn't work. I weirdly enough created some content today where I am showing a side by side video of what I bought versus what I got. And some of these products, they're not right for me. But I think it's really important to show that authenticity and to talk to people why something doesn't work for me, it might work for someone else. That's what you have to remember. But trying and testing products is what's going to build you trust. Come with a group chat attitude. Now we all have our group chat, right? We all tell our friends about that amazing restaurant that we went to that's in the local area or the hotel that we stayed in when we went to Mallorca last year because our bestie is going this year and we have no qualms about bigging up, telling them how amazing the food was, the staff was, they couldn't do enough. And that doesn't feel icky, right? That doesn't feel like you're selling at all. But in that moment you are. You're selling something on behalf of someone else. So what you need to remember here is to sell something on behalf of you. So come with that group chat attitude that you are literally recommending something that you love and that you believe in. And that's how you're going to show up when you're on social media, shop and share products consistently like this isn't an overnight success and like the business that you built by yourself that you now have as a nail tech, that didn't come in a week, it took months, years. You put so many hours into that. But you consistently showed up. You consistently showed up for your clients, for your appointments. And that's what you have to remember here. This isn't going to be something that happens next week. However, for me, this is something that happened. I saw Success in a matter of months and now here it's not even two years yet. And the success that I've had with this is literally incredible and has quite frankly being really like life changing and integral for my business. So if you show up consistently and share products, then your audience is going to buy into that and they're going to notice that you're showing up consistently. And what you need to remember is that when you're actually selling something or recommending something, it takes on average, I think seven times before someone buys something. So don't be afraid to reshare products again and again and again because that is exactly what I do. I can't tell you how many times that serum I mentioned before. I've shared like it's been countless times share testimonials and product star ratings. I think I mentioned before about when we reference like bestsellers and things that are selling really well for you. If you haven't got that information yet because you've only just started, you'll be able to see what sold really well on say for example, Amazon or H and M, for example. If you're selling through a platform like LTK, like H& M, for example, they have product reviews on there. So you can utilize that information, but you can share those star ratings. And I always get DMs. Now someone's like, oh my God, I bought that product from you. And I love, I love it. It's a game changer. And those DMS are what you can share because people are not only going to trust in you because of your recommendations and that trying and testing, but if someone else outside of you in your community is also hyping up, that's just additional trust. Offer as much product detail as possible. Now I could literally talk to a brick wall. I could talk to a brick wall. I really could. But when there's a product involved or something that I really, really believe in, I can talk about it for days and days and days. So as I mentioned, I'm recommending products over and over again. But I give as much detail as possible. If it's to do with product consistency, if it's to do with results, if it's to do with sizing, as you can see here, I've done a before and after picture of me using a specific product. Do that. For example, if you use a nail strengthener and you use it over a month period, make sure you document your nails along the way. So yes, these are all the things you need to be doing to ensure that you are building people's trust over and over and over again.
