A conversational interview in which Antonio Rosique recounts his first Camino de Santiago pilgrimage (begun in 2014) as a turning point after personal crisis. He describes deciding to go (prompted by his father), researching guides and Paulo Coelho, starting in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, the physical demands (20–30 km/day, blisters, learning to walk with a heavy pack), the solitude and rhythm of the route, and the pilgrimage’s role in emotional healing, humility, widened horizons, and a longer-term adoption of hiking as a life practice. He notes he completed the Camino multiple times (three in total) and later pursued other treks (Salkantay/Machu Picchu, Via Francigena).
