This is a podcast-style YouTube interview (Cracks Podcast) where Oso Trava recounts the strategic evolution of the company behind Tajín. In this chunk he explains that the firm historically sold mainly candies (≈80% of sales) while sauces were a smaller share (10–20%). In 1999 they sold 50% of the business to a group called Cinca (13 partners) including Pepe Mariaga, Henry Davis and Carlos Álvarez de Mejillo; the investors helped introduce corporate governance and budgeting. After three years the founders proposed divesting the candy business to focus on building the Tajín brand — a dry/powdered sauce — arguing it had market potential and better margins and could match previous sales within three years.
