Francisco Gonzales (in a Cracks Podcast interview) explains that the holding company rests on five core businesses: media, food, real estate, sports, and wines & spirits, highlighting a ‘‘flywheel’’ of cross‑interaction—especially among entertainment, wines & spirits, sports and restaurants. He describes the family office origins (family protocol, external advisors) and its governance role regulating family members. The family office manages alternative investments as a mini boutique private‑equity portfolio: up to 10 companies at a time, taking non‑controlling or minority stakes (examples of stake ranges given, e.g., ~10–50%), selecting investments that ideally create synergies with the group; examples include a biotech (no direct fit) and an online gambling investment branded Rushbet (operated by U.S. partners).

Of the five core areas of the organization, the holding company includes media, food, real estate, sports and wines and spirits. There are CEOs there, a share services team, and they are responsible for the core part. And three of them really caught my attention. Entertainment, wines and spirits, sports and restaurants. Now everything has something to do with each other. They talk to each other. That's why there is. I mean, yes, yes. I don't want to spend too much time on it, but there is a flywheel effect between them and they all interconnect in one way or another. The family office began with the family protocol. We hired. We spoke with John Davis from Harvard many years ago. We spoke with Cristina Ruiz from Instituto de Empresso when I was doing my master's degree, We went to seminars and in the end we brought together all those efforts, hired an advisor and drafted an important part of the family office, which is family governance, which regulates the development of family members inside and outside the company. The rules. Second, it manages alternative investments. What does that mean? Let's say the family FS foundations do not operate businesses. We do not want to operate businesses. And we invest in up to 10 companies of different tickets that we have not filled in a year. Right in the know. Some enter and others leave. They are portfolios of 10. Of 10, cap of 10. For what purpose? To have an incentive to be thinking about generating value. Otherwise they stay there. It doesn't make sense. If you want to see it not as private equity, but as a mini boutique private equity type. And then there. And they buy. They do not buy control, they buy up to what percentages? 40, 50s, 10, 15. And these investments have to make sense with the group of companies so that you can enhance them through these synergies. Not necessarily. For example, there is a biotech. It has nothing to do with it. There is one we did in online gambling that does have to do with it, but we do not operate in Mexico or outside of Mexico with an American partner. What is it? Can you tell or not? Yes, it's called rsi. It's a spacious. But the brand is called Rushbet. Rushbet? Yes, I've seen it. But it's operated by Americans.
