MUJERES EN LOS NEGOCIOS I MARÍA ASUNCION ARAMBURUZABALA

This is a Spanish-language interview (YouTube) with María Asunción Aramburuzabala conducted by Oso Trava (recorded Sept 28, 2021). María discusses cultural barriers that predefine gender roles, the need to break paradigms that exclude women from leadership, and the value of diversity (gender, racial, sexual, generational) on corporate boards to foster debate and better decisions. She also describes her approach to balancing business and family life: rather than a 50/50 equilibrium, she integrated her children into her business life (telling them simple versions of transactions like Televisa, involving them in decisions), accepting episodic imbalances and “piecemeal” trade-offs, then compensating by being fully present when possible.
