The transcript captures a segment of April Kerr's live set at Herriman Days 2017, featuring an announcer (Speaker B) introducing each piece and the performer (Speaker A) delivering lyrical excerpts and commentary. Four songs are highlighted: an original composition titled "Easy" that segues into a theme of "Relationship Goals"; a cover of "She’s Human" from the Broadway musical Waitress, with the performer reflecting on vulnerability and self‑acceptance; and a newer original song called "You" that expresses hope, healing, and gratitude. The dialogue is repetitive and informal, but it conveys the emotional tone of each piece and the performer’s personal connection to the material.

Really quickly, we have a lost credit card. Um, Thank you.
This next song is a song that I wrote and it's called Easy.
The ones who blame. Can't they see the tears in your eyes? The utter love we're feeling. And how am I supposed to pretend that I'm alright? 'Cause when you hold me close, it feels so right. So right. So right. It's nice, but once the music ends, it's not easy to see happy souls around. called Relationship Goals. But stay. Then he gives a subtle smile. Next thing I know, he's standing right next to me, and I forget how to be so just. And I think he got a little sick. And now my soul love is blind. Sure, it's something like this. And that might seem weird and that might seem crazy, but that's the way it is. But if you take a step back and look from my perspective, it's perfect. The next thing you know, you've got relationship goals. Hey you with the pearly white smile, come on over, scooch on next to me. Hey you with the sparkling eyes, I want to get to know you. Oh, I took him on a date and I made the first move and we talked for hours. Save the date, he holds my hand and knows what should ever it takes to make me fall in love. And he says that I'm not sure what love is, but I'm sure it's something like, like this. And that might seem weird and I might seem crazy, but I don't regret it. I am so happy. Just look from my perspective and you'll see Oh baby, we've got relationships.
All right, on Broadway called Waitress, and the music was written by a very popular and very known songwriter. Sarah Burrows, and I love her music. And so I saw the show, and this is just the showstopper.
It's called She's Human. The place and its creatures have taken more than I gave them. It's not easy to know that I'm not anything like I used to be. Oh, it's true, I was never what tensions we tended. I still remember She did not know what she tried. She is wounded, but she lies. She is hard on herself. She is broken in more than she knows. She is not seen for She's kind. She's lonely most of the time. She's all this stuff, great and beautiful. She's not what she used to be. No, it's not what I Sometimes life just slips in through a back door and calls out a person and makes you believe it's all true. I'm not what you need, and you're not what I asked for. If I'm honest, I know I would give it all back for a chance. Mm.
This last song is a very new song, and on the internet, but that's about it.
And, um, so yeah, this song is called You. I found hope in a shape of wind, and I found peace in your eyes so true. I found the medicine of But you made me feel it for the first time, and I've never felt so alive. But you made me believe, and I can't believe. I can't believe. Thank you for letting me perform for you.
