It's not a big old trophy that I'll miss, but I'll always smile when I remember this. I got you, you, I got you, you to hang out with when it takes a toll. Got no cash, you, got no wheels, you, but I know how people like you feel.
Got your head, you, in my neck, you, got your back, you know you got mine too.
Tiny trophy that I'll miss, but I'll always smile when I remember this.
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, go, go! I got you, I got you to hang out with when the day is through. Got no cash, got no wheels, but I know what being lucky feels. Got your hand in my hand, got your back, and I know you got mine too. I got you. I got you.
You got me.
You got me.
Only because we're supposed to be.
I got joy. I got life. And I know no matter what I do, I got you.
I got you.
I got you.
I got you. I got you.
Hey!
Hey! Hey!
Hey!
You got me. You got me. I got you.
Sweeney Todd is a 1979 musical thriller by Stephen Sondheim. Set in 19th century England, this story is about a barber, Benjamin Barker, who later changes his name to Sweeney Todd, who is sent off to jail for 15 years and separated from his wife and his beautiful daughter, Johanna, who has been taken in by the evil Judge Turpin. A young sailor, Anthony, who has recently rescued Sweeney at sea, has fallen in love with his daughter, Johanna. The song "Kiss Me" takes place right after Joanna, played by Maddie Carter, finds out that Judge Turpin, who she thinks is her father, is forcing her to marry him. Anthony, played by Rob Bagley, is trying to convince her to elope with him to save her from marrying the judge.
He means to marry me Monday, but shall I do? I'd rather die. I'll swallow poison on Sunday. That told you of your sweetheart? It was that voice you never heard, a voice so sweet. Of course, for today is still a golden voice, but that voice was for Alice. Oh, sir, oh, sir, if he should marry me one day, would July 29th die? 'Tis Friday, virtually Sunday. What would we do with time? July 29th, July 29th, July 29th.
For Christ's sake, let me go over to play.
I know it's the gate, it's the gate.
Oh, again, again, again.
Oh, how amazing. Listen, listen, kiss.
What you'll do is say, "I knew I'd give you one date, knowing who you were." "Oh, Miss Mary, Mary, Miss Mary, one date may we give you for free, I promise, Mary, Mary, Miss Mary, you provide the money." "Yes, please!" "Of course!" "Yes, please!" "You're sure?" "Yes, please!" "I shall?" "Yes, please!" "We'd best not wait until Monday." "Sure, I can carry it in the pool bag." "It isn't right, we'd best be married on Sunday." Anthony!
You'll marry Anthony Sunday, as you told you, no matter what. Having a wife like you one day will be a great blessing for us.
Very, very happy to marry you one day.
Very, very happy to marry you one day.
Enough about this!
stop and said hello. Hey, good looking, what you doing tonight?
Don't do it for me, do it for your country.

Hey, hey, hey, good looking, what's a guy to do?
Say, say, say, good looking, search the whole world through, and I've been looking for you.
Hey, good looking, I'm brand new in town. So there was a lunch with peritoneum.
Hey, good looking, you don't go turning me down. And now the cancer is spreading to my liver. Hey, good looking, we just asked. Hey, good looking, took my breath away. Let me take you out tonight. Let me take you out tonight. Let me take you out.
Hey, hey, hey, good looking. What's a guy to do?
What's a guy to do? Say, say, say, good looking.
I searched the whole world through.
Searched the whole world through. And I've been looking for you. Looking for you now.

Amy, I can't find my shoes anywhere.
Today is for Amy. Amy, I give you the rest of my life. To honor you forever. Today is for Amy. My half will be soon to be wife. Amy, we're getting married!
Pardon me, is everybody there? Because if everybody's there, I want to thank you all for coming to the wedding. I'd appreciate your going even more. I mean, you must have lots of better things to do, but on board a different Paul, remember Paul, you know the man I'm gonna marry, but I'm not because I wouldn't ruin anyone as wonderful as he is. But I thank you all for the gifts and the flowers. Thank you all. Now back to the shower. And don't tell Paul, but I'm not getting married today.
What?

A wedding was a wedding, it's a prehistoric ritual where everybody promises fidelity for I purchased baby clothes for my daughter, I remember, which is why my pennies were suddenly here. He said I was a mess and wants to kill me, which he should. So thanks so much, but I'm not getting married. Go have lunch, 'cause I'm not getting married. You've been grand, but I'm not getting married. Don't just stand there, I'm not getting married. Don't tell Paul, but I'm not getting married today. Go, can't you go? Why is nobody listening?
Goodbye.
Go and cry in another person's wake. It's no click or a kick. You can pick up a person, even please, on my knees. There's a human life at stake! Listen everybody, I'm afraid you didn't hear. Do you want to see a crazy lady fall apart in front of you? Is it only Paul who would be ruining his life? If you don't love us, we lose our identities. I'd tell him for my aunt, but she's about to get me sent to see her on Monday. But on Monday I'll be blowing a nut. That's a pretty epic garbage time. I'm not well, so I'm not getting married. Hugh thinks so well, but I'm not getting married. Say la, I'm not getting married. And then you all, but I'm not getting married. And now tell Paul that I'm not getting married today. —totally insane, slipping down the parade and bless this day in our hearts as it starts to rain. Today is forever.

I promise you, you'll make those work out lifts. 20 flights to a 400-year-old space shuttle. 27 dinner plates and 37 butter knives and 47 paperweights and 57 candle holders. I am not getting married. I owe my soul to the company store.
I was born one morning and the sun didn't shine. I picked up a shovel and walked —16 tons. Another 9 coal bells, the boss said. Well, bless my soul, you loaded 16 tons. What did you get? Another day old, empty brood. Thank you, Peter, don't you call me, 'cause I can't go. Bye-bye, so to the company store. Easy, becoming better. Step aside. A lot of men did. A lot of men died. Nothing in the world will ever be the Love changes everything. These are not words anymore. Love, love changes everything. He is deeper than before. Love can turn your world And the world will last forever. Yes, Lord, love changes everything. Now I tremble at your name.
Nothing in the world will ever be the same.
I have never felt like this. For once I'm lost for words. Your smile has really thrown me. This is not like me at all. I never thought I'd know the kind of love you've shown me. Now, no matter where I am, no matter what I I see your face appearing like an unexpected song, an unexpected song that only means me. I don't know what's going on, can't work it out at all. Whatever may And you choose me. I just can't believe my eyes. You look at me as though you couldn't bear to lose me. Now, no matter where I am, no matter what I do, I see your face appearing. An unexpected song, an unexpected song that only we are hearing.
I don't know how to love him.
I don't see how to move him. I've been changed, yes, really changed in these past few days. When I see myself, I seem like someone else. I don't know how to take this. I don't I don't see why he moves me. He's a man. He's just a man. And I've had so many men before in very many ways. He's just one more. Should I break him down? Should I scream and shout? Should I speak of love? Let my feelings out? I never thought I'd come to this.
What's it all about?
Yet, if he said he loved me, Should I scream and shout? Should I spill love? Let my feelings out?
I never thought I'd come to this.
What's it all about? What's it all about? I've never done all that, but I do. I see your face. Nothing like you've ever known. I don't know how that was possible. Nothing like you've ever dreamed. He's the truth of everyone.
All the truths revealed.
The truth I want. He is my everything.

You'll have to be a little more standoffish when fellas offer you a buggy ride.
I'll get an invitation, I will crawl in and dig myself a hole where I can hide.
I hear how you was kicking up some capers when I was down in Kansas City, Mo. I heard some things you couldn't print in papers from fellas who was talking like they'd known.
What? I only did the kind of things I would have sworn up to you. You all have made a list of me. For me, the story about the way I lost my bloomers. Who first? The lawn and tennis team or the mod team?
The whole thing don't sound very good to me. Well, you see— I go and sew my last while out. I cut out all shenanigans. I save my money, don't gamble or drink in the back room down at Flanagan's. I cut out lots of other things that a gentleman never mentions. But before I give up anymore, I want to know your intentions. With me, it's all or nothing. Is it all or nothing with you? It can't be in between. It can't be now and then. No half-and-half romance will do. I'm a woman, man, full of the type, all complete with slippers and pipe. Take me as I am or leave me be. If you can't give me all, give me nothing, and nothing's what you'll get from me. Nothing's what you'll get from me.
It can't be in between. Uh-uh. It can't be now and then. No, sir.
No happy cat romance will do.

But if your heart responds, you've got to realize that men like you are wild and free. So ain't got a fuss, ain't got a row. Have your fun, go out on the town. Stay up late and just go home to me. And go right off to sleep if you're sleepy.
There's no use waiting after the fact.
Set in Paw Paw, Michigan, Dear Arena is an entertaining musical comedy written by Rena Goldwich and Marcy Heifrich. Although the show never appeared on Broadway, it has performed off-Broadway 3 times and has won many awards. In the beginning of the second act, Edwina reads a letter from Carrie Wigle, a shy girl who is sad because she has to move to a new town where she doesn't know anyone. Edwina replies by telling Carrie Wigle that all it takes is one word, hello, to start making friends and building a welcome empire.
Lola Lopez lives in Lima, only Lima in Peru.
Lola had a cousin Harry, we are west in Honolulu. One day Lola got a letter from her cousin way out west.
Come to my birthday party, Lola Brackwood, in the best suit.
So on an airplane, Lola flew all the way from Lima, Peru, far across the ocean blue, flew Lola from Lima to Honolulu. And Harry's family said, hola, Lola, hola, hello!
Ovado lamo, ovado, ovado lamo, ovado lamo.
There at Harry's birthday party, as the children laughed and played, a cake was served by Harry's mom, but under a palm tree, love escaped.
Terry seemed to be the only one who got a piece of the roll.
They're all talking words I don't know. It's Harry's bed.
Lola, Lola, let him go. Lola, let him go.
Lola sat down at the table set up in the iron pan. Softly Lola whispered, "Lola," hoping the kids would understand. Lola closed her eyes and swallowed, fearing that the worst would come.
But all the kids took cute galanties And everyone began to smile, and they all sang, "Oh la la la la hello, oh la la la hello, oh la la la la hello, oh la la la hello, oh la la la hello, oh la la la la shalom, oh la shalom, la la cheerio, ciao, hola, ni hao, lola, ciao, buongiorno, passeio." Happiness is a song the two share about slowly coming to realize their true feelings.
Rocky, played by Brevin Lipsko, and Adrian, played by Emily White, express their feelings over a modest Christmas tree.
So here's what it is. Here's how it feels.
Have a life with your hands.
Take it slow. Holding my breath. I don't wanna go back to the movies. I'm looking for words that haven't been found. Something like, I don't know, something like, something like happiness. It's only a half-trimmed Christmas tree, but hearing you laugh, seeing you there, everything's shiny new to me.
There have to be words for telling yourself, but who can teach you? I don't know.
It's something like— something like— happiness. Something like warm. Something like true. Something like nothing I ever knew.
Something like safe. Something like home.
So here's what it is, here's how it feels, have a life with you in it. Happy New Year.
A princess must say this. A princess must marry a total stranger. It's absurd. Suitors talk of love, but it's an act merely meant to throw me out with some lovely when in fact they don't know me. They They want my royal treasure. When all's said and done, it's time for desperate measure. So I wonder, why shouldn't I fly so far from here? I know the girl I might become here, sad and confined, and always locked behind. By these palace walls. I don't know, Princess, for someone like you, the outside world might be kind of overwhelming. Is that a promise? I think it'll do her some good. You do? Honey, I've never met somebody who needed to get out more. Don't show devotion every day, not second guesses. If a new emotion comes my way, you suppress it. What would be your suggestion? Stand on your own two feet and ask my certain question. Keep repeating, my son is like my daughter.
I know I might be wrong.
Open your heart, or you might end up wrong. —home and palace. Love comes to those who go and find it. Give you a dream, then stand behind it. Maybe there's more beyond these palace walls. What's in there? What if I try? Am I prepared for what's outside? Why shouldn't I fly so far from here? Something awaits beyond these walls. Something waits beyond these walls. How it's—
You can push me away, I can take it. I can make you a promise and break it. We know the way this goes by now. But I'm not just a sheep, I'll chase you. I pretend I know how to replace you till we can take the love storm out. Here is wonder, and I wonder how long can I go on? In the storm, not in the rain, not in the fire. At times it's pain, I'm ready to drown. It's coming down, but I feel so alive. Just let it go, just walk away. If you lost someone you never caught in the snow. As the bars of the barrio close in, you arrive at the door standing frozen. You say goodbye to by me. Tell me how I begin to forget you and when you come back and let you love me until you miss me. I'm not in the storm, not in the rain. I'm the first I'm ready to drown. It's cold and stout, but I feel so alive. Just let me go. Just walk away. If you love someone, you never let them stay. Caught in the storm. And he washed away. You can find me after the flood. And he washed away my shame. I'm caught in the storm, caught in the rain. Caught in the rush that rises periodically. When you love someone, you find a way to stay. Caught in the storm.

In the song "In Love with You," Aaron, the Rob Bagley, PhD, PhD, lets his girlfriend Allison know how he truly feels about her and takes an important step in their relationship.
I never knew what love was like until I saw your face. Suddenly I felt the love time cannot erase. Your eyes so sweet and piercing, your manner kind yet strong. The kind of girl I could love forever, spend the rest of our lives together. And in my life, I don't think I'd ever been so freaking wrong. You're a witch with no heart, you're a liar, you're Clayton, and I hate the way you snore at night. All your quirks piss me off, and I don't think I'm mistaken. Your compulsive need to always be right. Your bossy antics, mental gun attack, is boring too.
And I really can't believe I ever fell in love with you.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
I know that all seemed kind of harsh, but things weren't always bad. In fact, I think sometimes we shared the best that I've ever had, like a road trip that one summer, or those steamy nights in Spain. Always melted when I would praise you and my Stupid jokes, they would never age. But I don't mean crap, thanks to all the ways you drove me so insane.
You're a jerk and a tease, girl, you never stop o' talking, and it's time for y'all to double dip.
I say it's good fun, but your racist friends are shocking, and your lips don't even work all that good. All you care about is how much someone makes and what they do. Not a man in his right mind would ever fall in love with you. You always criticized the clothes that I would wear and found a way of pointing out my thinning hair. Thank you. You turned me vegan, which I totally despise, and I'm pretty sure you laughed that time I said there's no lies. If you were shot or beaten or run over by a truck, I guess that I If I decided I'd never get it, it wouldn't suck. It wouldn't suck. So goodbye, get the road. As a girlfriend, you are fired. Rise above and show that you care. Please, years from now when you're old and you finally expire, girl, I hope that you don't rest in peace. Never met someone so selfish. I ate all this nasty And for all that I've endured now, you can save me, rest assured now that your actions have been pure now.
Yes, I'm so done being in love, in love with you. Yeah, yeah, oh, I'm so done. And I said, my God, is that going to work? If I know what's gone, and I bring in my proposal, so I'll bless your mess.
And that's what you call closure.
So dump me and in love with you.

Someone's gonna sing "Hail, Rise, Sun," leave the train and go back home.

But never understands the girl who lies beneath the covers. You only have to open up your mouth to show what you don't know, and you don't know about women. A woman needs to be assured that she remains alluring. Sit down and be reassured, your passion It's not enough to know your line, to polish and routine it. And heaven knows I know your line, the whole routine, I've seen it. You gotta mean it. What you don't know about women— What you don't know about women— is what we need to hear. You think if you can sound sincere, then we'll come running to you. Throw in some truth for atmosphere, But we can see right through you. And every hollow compliment and pretty lines and underlines. But you don't know about women. You think what I don't know will not hurt me. But you don't know how often you do. How long ago did good sense desert me? I don't know why I still burn for you.

For the first time in my life, I am not outside the moment, with a camera in between me and the world I think I know. For the first time in my life, I am somehow part of something. You surround me, you connect me, and I think I can let go.
For the first time in my life, you have opened up a channel.
There is nothing to contain us. We are joined and we are free. For the first time in my life, I am risking something precious. I am asking you, Francesca, come with me. I can't tell you I know what the future will be. Who knows anything?
I just look with those eyes that got so much to see. Let me show you, there's crowds of camels and hillsides to climb. All of the time, from man's first breath to God's last warning, you and I are just one second spinning by. In one split second, you and I are just one One second and a million miles to go.
I don't need to be rich, I don't need something new. All I need, all I've needed my whole life is you.
Please just look at me, you were born with a wand. —this is how we begin to behold.
The stars keep burning, worlds keep turning, and you and I are just one second, staying bright in one square second. You and I—
are just one second and a million miles.
Drowned and lost, torn in half, before and after you. Open heart, open door, before and after you. How do I go? Tell me, how do I go? How do I go with you? How do I pack a bag, close the door, turn the keys, walk away? Look at where I am and who I am and tell me, is there something I don't know? How can I know?
How can I know with who? I can't tell you I know what the answer will be.
It's impossible. But this thing, this is bigger than what we can see. This is destiny. We are tied, we are locked, we are bound. This will not be reversed or unwound. Whatever fate the stars are weaving, we're not breaking. I'm not leaving any You and I are just one second spinning by in one split second.
You and I are just one second and a million miles to go. All my life I haven't known jail.
The girls face criticism from their family and friends but defend their love for these criminals, even admitting that they cannot help their feelings. Now presenting the MDT Women with "You Love Who You Love" from Bonnie and Clyde.
I wouldn't change him if I could. No man's all good. I always knew what I was taking on, but I always felt that I could change his ways. If a man would never fall mine. I'm glad he's mine. 'Cause you love who you love and you can't help how you made. You don't have no say, your heart decides. It's that simple, I'm afraid. 'Cause you love who you love, common sense may say it's wrong. There's a part of him, you know, he's wild. Maybe that's what made you love him all along. I only care that he's mine and I am his. There ain't no rules, that's how it is. Most girls would hate to be standing in my shoes. But truth is something you don't choose, for you love who you love, and you can't wait to watch them heal. And you never think what's down the road while the fairy tale seems real. You love who you love, how it's Sense may say it's wrong. There's a part of him you know is wild. Maybe that's what made you love him all along. Could be that's what made you love him all along.
Edward, played by Reverend Lipscomb, is now a traveling salesman and is trying to explain to his son Will, played by Brandon Walker, why he has to leave home once again.
I've never been a man who lived an office life. I've never been a man who heard death sing.
I've always been a man who said that staying still was plain dead.
Kindness of looking forward to the Challenges ahead. People say that's irresponsible. People tell me stay at home.
But I'm not made for things like mowing lawns or raking streets. I'm happy best when not at rest. And so I'll fight the dragons and I'll storm the castles and I'll win a battle or two. Until the day it's time, I'll pack it up and I am bringing all my stories home to you.
Miles ahead with miles to go.
All I can feel is wind and sun and sky. So for a coffee, make a friend, and pray the day will never end. There's one more adventure waiting round another bend, where I fight the dragons and I'll storm the castles, or win a battle or two.
Until the free link comes like 50,000 drums, I'll bang and bring my stories home to you.
And I wonder as I wander on the road from door to door exactly what you think of where I Do you know I joined the circus? Met a mermaid, fought a war. Know I think of you through thick and thin? Because even though I'm making deals and bringing people joy, I'm usually only thinking of my boy.
Out there on the road, I I hope, Greg, you'll come to me one day and say, "So let's fight the dragons and then storm the castles till we win what needs to be won." So when I'm old and tired, you'll do the job required. You'll I'll be there telling stories to your son.
And then we'll fight the dragons and then storm the castles. And I do the best thing I can. And everybody knows that's how the story goes.
Turn each boy into a bigger man. And so I'll fight the dragons till you can't.

I was a scared and lonely kid, deep in the darkest hole, no control. Something whispered, "It gets better.
It gets better when you get past this time." It gets better, so much better, when you have less this time. So go and scream at the moon if you want to. Go and run just as far as you can. But it gets better, it gets better and better.
away.
But if you lift your head and pray, one day the final straw will be yours to draw.
Don't you know that it gets better?
It gets better when you get past this time. It gets better, so much better when you Well, that's the design. So go and scream at the moon if you want to. Go and run just as far as you can. But it gets better, it gets better and better. Love's out there waiting to banish the hating and smother the sorrow. Now this dramatic musical There are people who care. There are friends everywhere. There are hands to be held. There are hearts to be swelled. Points of view rearranged. There are minds to be changed. And it's going to change. It gets better. It gets better. It gets better when you get past this time. It gets better, so much better when you outlast this time. So go and scream at the moon if you want to. Go and run just as far as you can. But it gets better, better, better, better, better.
