A lyrical monologue about being trapped in endless winter. The speaker stockpiles groceries, slips on ice, falls, watches the tub overflow, and keeps asking if it will ever end or if life returns to normal when it does. Poetic and resigned, turning physical cold into a symbol for internal struggle.
