All right, well, good morning. This. We don't have a lot of people on the call yet, so, but we will still get started because I don't want to make those of you who showed up on time have to wait. So thank you so much for being here. This is the reset call. Every week we come alongside of you to work through the becoming self Made Goal Planner. This is a hybrid of a planner that gets you closer to your goals and a daily planner. So for those of you who use some sort of time management tool or planner to navigate your day, this is a really good resource. But it also is a really good resource to get you closer to your goals. It's also a really good resource to help you decide what your goals actually are. So it does serve a lot of purposes. And I highly recommend, if you don't have this book, pick it up, it's on Amazon. We do have worksheets that we can give you to supplement while you're waiting for the book, but we don't have worksheets for the entirety of the book. And every component of it is super important because it takes you through an assessment of all eight areas of your life. So it's very comprehensive. Typically, people who aren't quite sure of what it is that they want, they can talk about what it is that they don't want. And so assessing the areas of your life that you're least satisfied with is a really good way to start setting goals. So you kind of narrow it down. You're looking for the area of your life that you're least satisfied with. So, so that you can decide with intention what it is that would make you more satisfied. And there you have a goal. And so then we take the next three months to very strategically work towards that goal. And this book allows you to set no more than four goals. Those goals could all come from one area of your life, or they could come from a couple different areas of your life. But the point is, is that this is the call that you come to that really supports you through moving closer to those goals day after day after day. And we have a process that we use that helps you work, you know, day after day after day, work with intention, staying in that space of high intention, of being present, of not going into like an autopilot, not operating from your primitive brain and hearing and reacting from those limited primitive brain thoughts, those fear based thoughts. So last week what we talked about was really helping you see that you're not a victim of your emotion, that you are a creator of your Emotions. So many people do not understand that you have the capacity to create any emotion. Think about just your life in general. The way we experience life is through emotions. So most people do things because they want to feel something. Most people will try to get somebody to change because they want to feel something. It's a hard truth. It's a hard pill to swallow, but that is the truth, that we want things in our life. We have desires because we think it will make us feel something. And although that might be true, you don't necessarily have to go through the grind to create something just so that you can feel something, because you can feel something right now. So last week we talked about, like, emotional ownership, and that's where the real power is, that you don't have to wait to feel better. You can decide to feel better right now. Okay? So last week I really challenged you on this call to decide ahead of time what it was that you wanted to feel. Okay? So I really want you to think about that. And think about what emotion did you lead with most last week, and was it one that you intended? Think about that. How did you feel last week? What emotion do you remember feeling most last week? And was that intentional? Okay, I just want you to put in the chat. Was the emotion that you felt most last week? Was that intentional? Yes or no? I want you to add that to the chat. Why am I not seeing the chat? Gracie, can you see the chat?
Did you ask if I could see the chat?
Yeah.
Yeah, I can see it.
Okay. Are there any answers in there?
One just came in. Said peacefulness.
Okay. Peacefulness was. Is an emotion, and was that an intentional emotion that you felt last week, or did that just come about? Was the emotion that you recognize most last week, Was it intentional? Did you create that emotion with intention, or are you just noticing that in retrospect there is no right or wrong answer? I'm just curious.
You said it was by choice.
It was by choice. Excellent. Okay, so this is a superpower of ours. Isn't that amazing that you can decide ahead of time that you want to feel peaceful and you can create that for yourself? What if you were looking for a new job and you wanted to be confident going into the interview? Isn't that amazing that you don't have to wait until after the interview to feel confident that you could actually create that on the front end? That is amazing. And that is available to all of us. So today's topic is one that we're going to kind of build off of. Last week's theme of emotional ownership and alignment, which, again, is our superpower. And this week, we're going to talk about creating our identity first and our goals second. So we're going to show up today as our future self, not the version that we're trying to fix. Think about how often we wake up in the morning and we immediately start thinking about all the things that we need to fix. About ourselves, about our job, about the people in our life. This call is going to shift the focus from managing emotions about the past to becoming the version of yourself who achieves your goals. Okay, so last week you started to see that you are not the victim of your emotions. Emotions do not just happen to you. They are created by what it is that you're thinking. So if you are feeling desperate, it's because you are thinking desperate thoughts. If you are creating peace, it's because you are believing something that creates the peace. So now it's time to connect that emotional power, that superpower that you have to your personal identity. I want to help you embody who you want to become. And this from 3 to 6. And then I have another commitment. At 6:30 8:30, I'm going to be editing the podcast. That's what my schedule looks like. And I already know a lot of the commitments for the next six days. I like to write those in, knowing that a lot of them will change. They flex a little bit. And I know a lot of these days there'll be things that will be added. I look at my digital calendar, I see that the appointments that people have made with me, I transfer them into my handwritten daily planner. It's a grounding technique. A lot of people would be like, why are you duplicating efforts? It's already collected digitally. Ground yourself in what it is that you're intending to do so that you have the data that's going to influence how it is that you want to think and feel. That's what's going to support you in making the decision about how it is that you want to think and feel. It's difficult to make those decisions when you don't have any data to go off of. So do yourself a favor and just create a schedule of what your commitments are and what time you intend to execute. And now on Monday, 6:23, hopefully you've got today's schedule set. Now I want you to pick three events from your schedule. Three circumstances. Maybe it's people that you are going to come across today. Maybe it's a goal that you're working towards. Just pick three circumstances, three events and add them to those fields, those blank spaces on the right side of your daily planner. And then ask yourself for each of these events. How do I want to feel at the time of this event? Whether it's an all day event, whether it's the point in time, it's the point during my day that I'm going to engage with this person. Maybe if you have a goal of losing weight, maybe it's at the time that you are starting a fast or ending a fast or eating a meal. Or maybe it's this evening when you have time carved out to work on your dating life. How is it that you want to be feeling? Do you want to be feeling fulfilled? Do you want to be feeling confident? Do you want to be feeling trusting, Satisfied, resilient, creative? For me, I had decided earlier today that I want to feel a sense of wonder all day. So all three of my events have the same feeling of wonder and the thought I wonder what new things I will learn. I wonder what new things, what new feelings I will feel. It keeps me really grounded. Now you'll notice on the left hand side of the daily planner there's the to do list box. This is a place where you can transfer you Looking at your daily schedule. Notice if you have any white time I read you my schedule. I have very little white time or white space, so adding things to my to do list is probably not a good idea because it's unlikely I'll get it done. I don't have a lot of white space today, so therefore I have nothing in my to do list today. Every single thing that I'm doing is actually scheduled. But if you have a bunch of white space and you just don't know exactly when you're going to be able to get it done, put it on the to do list in that little to do list box and commit to yourself that before your head, your head hits the pillow that's going to get done and flip back to your weekly to do list to your intentions. Start transferring those items to your schedule to the schedule of Tuesday, of Wednesday, of Thursday. Do not let those things slip through the cracks and sit there unnoticed until this next week's call. Schedule them minimally. Minimally. Put them in the to do list and see how that works for you. What would your future self do? That future version of you? How are they scheduling and prioritizing this week? Step into that right now. Any comments? Does this feel different? Is there an emotion, a vibration shift that you're experiencing? The thing that hits me the hardest is when I stop trying to fix the old me and really rally around becoming more of who I already am. It's such a huge shift in the vibration, in the energy that I feel. Any questions?
Yeah, this definitely helped me because I have some projects that I need to work on for myself that I'm dreading, but that I encourage people and my clients to do almost on a daily basis. You know, so it's like. Like I always say, I can. I can organize anybody else's garage, but organizing my garage is a whole nother thing because you start doubting your choices.
You know, and so that's when stepping in to your future self, the person who you are becoming.
Yeah.
And asking yourself, what are they thinking and feeling so that you squash that dread. Dread should be nowhere on the radar if you are thinking and behaving like the version of your future self. Yeah. Any other questions? Gracie, what day this week is your group call?
It's on Thursday, I think. I don't know if there's. I don't think there's anybody from my group in here. Oh, I thought there was.
Okay.
I think they had to leave.
Oh, okay. Our. Our group call is Wednesday at 9am Central Standard Time. Linda Boggs is the coach who will be coaching. So I hope to see you all there. If you have any questions in the meantime on any of this, please feel free to reach out. Otherwise, have a great week. Stay very connected to your future self and what it is that they're thinking. All right.
Thanks, Tracy.
Yep. Take care.
