Monday Coaching Call Facilitated by Tracy Think Feel Act Cycle Oct 6 2025

Tracy leads a Monday reset coaching call on managing your week. She walks through reflecting on the prior week without drama, setting micro-goals, estimating task time, and blocking it on your calendar. The core idea: treat your scheduled commitments as non-negotiable meetings with your future self.
So cute on you.
Oh, thank you. Do you have this sweater?
I don't. I always admire it, though. If I get clients that have it, it's one of my favorites.
It does look good on camera on video calls. I've noticed.
It's. Yeah, it shows up. Well, isn't it funny how that becomes one of the ways to measure what it is that you're buying is whether it looks good on camera.
I know, I know. My budget for health and beauty changed dramatically when we started doing Zoom virtual calls. Yeah, yeah, I know. Up close and personal.
Yeah. Yep. We have a new, new bookkeeper. And it's funny, when my daughter and I meet with her, she'll convince us that, like, getting our hair done, getting our nails done, facials, massages are all write offs because it's super important for us to function. It's necessary for our business. I'm like, huh? Oh, okay.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, yeah, that. That's true. And for a while, that wasn't a tax write off that you could use, so I don't know, maybe some of that's changed. I need to check into that.
Yeah. Ironically, my daughter has a call today with a new bookkeeper. So I think change. Things change depending on who it is that you are, you know, being consulted by. And this is true. My CPA is a lot more conservative than that, so. But he's the one who's recommended both of these bookkeepers, so we'll see. Okay. I have a feeling it'll be somewhere in the middle. Yeah. Yeah. Good morning, Kara. Morning. How are you guys doing? Good, good. Let me get my book.
Just finished reseeding our lawn, so, you.
Know, you're up and at it early.
Oh, yeah, well, we started yesterday, just didn't finish, so. Finished up this morning.
Yeah. That's funny. My husband got up early this morning and he had to go put flags where our invisible fence line is. Collars. Yeah. Because we have somebody coming to aerate today.
Oh, yeah?
Yeah. All the fall duties.
We almost started aerating, and then I saw a couple people say if you could stick. Stick a screwdriver into your dirt and it goes in like butter, you don't have to aerate.
Oh.
So I got a screwdriver and I went outside.
It just went boop.
And I was like, okay, save ourselves 100 bucks renting an aerator.
Yeah. Nice. Yeah. No, I highly doubt ours is that soft, so I'm sure.
Yeah.
All right, well, we'll just go ahead and get started. I will continue to let people in this is our reset call. Everybody on here is familiar with it. What we do as just a reminder is we do use this book. This is the becoming self made goal and daily planner. We also have worksheets inside of the community. If you don't have the book, if you're, if you need a new one or whatnot, you can certainly print out a worksheet and go off of that. Today I'm going to take it in a little bit of a different direction. So we are going to work through the process. But I challenge myself every week to come up with a new way of talking about this in hopes that it lands or that it. You hear it differently and you take something different away from the call. So you don't always need to feel ready for the week or for your day. But what you do need is to get moving. So we do talk a lot about motivation because motivation is a feeling. A couple weeks ago we talked. So I do believe that a lot of times we'll ask ourselves like which comes first, the chicken or the egg? Is it the actions that are going to create the way you're feeling or is it the feelings that are going to drive the actions? And you have to be the one that answers that question for yourself. So today, hopefully you will come out of this call with clarity, with focus and motion. So the theme that I'm going to use is execution over emotion. The results you want aren't waiting on your mood, they're waiting on your movement. So today we're not going to ask ourselves, how do I feel about this? Today we're going to ask ourselves, what would a self made leader do next? And just as a reminder, what it means to be self made. It means you're managing your mind, you're regulating your emotion and you are creating your results from a place of calm power. That definition has a whole lot of emotions wrapped up into it. That's what it means to be self made. It's not the money that you have in the bank. It's not the status that I think a lot of us conjure up when we hear the word self made. It means. Yeah.
Would you repeat that definition or is it written down somewhere?
Absolutely. No, I'll, I'll repeat. Means managing your mind, regulating your emotion and creating your results from a place of calm power.
Okay, thank you.
You're welcome. So I want you guys to ask yourself, what would a self made leader, somebody who knows how to manage their mind, regulate their emotion and create from a place of compound calm power, what would they do Next. So we're going to start like we always do. We're going to reflect on the past week. No drama, just data. I want you to take a minute look back at the last week. I don't want you judging, which I know is a lot to ask. Our little human brains love to judge. But instead I want you to just be really inquisitive, look at your last week like a scientist and just gather some data. What moved the needle last week? What fell through the cracks? What patterns do you see? So the final page in every single week is the weekly reflection page. And what it asks you on this page is what worked, what didn't work, and what am I going to do different? Maybe last week you didn't come to this call, or maybe last week you skipped planning altogether and you noticed that the week felt kind of scattered. Maybe for the people who are here and are in sales, maybe you didn't do any outreach and you're noticing that the sales were lower. Maybe you did one hard thing last week and you felt unstoppable. I want you to notice what worked, what didn't. We aren't looking for the story. We don't want the drama. We want it. Take this data as a signal of how we're going to move forward. So we're just gathering the data from last week without judgment, and we're just going to move forward. I'm going to give you a minute to finish that thought. We'll be right back with you. Someone is at the front door.
It.
Okay, so now I want you guys to turn the page. If you're working off the from the book. And we're going to work on the weekly intentions. So this next sheet is really to decide what are the actions I'm going to take in in accordance to my goals that are going to help me build evidence that I am following through no matter what. That's the lens I want you to be looking through today. So I want you to decide what are the actions or what is. What are the micro goals? I guess you could. They don't have to. You can just literally translate the goals that you have from the focus wheel into the boxes that say goal, 1, 2, 3, 4. Or you can break it down into micro goals. So, for example, if somebody had a goal of losing, let's say £20 over the course of this book, which is three months, the micro goal for this week might be £2. So it's a necessary step in the process. That's the way I like to think of it. As micro goals. The whole point is really breaking things down so that your brain can kind of chew on it so it's not so big. Your brain, a confused brain, likes to say no. It's. It feels very doable. So it's a way of breaking things down into tinier actions that feel so simple it's almost hard not to do. But the first step is figure out what that micro goal is. Does anybody need any help with that? So decide on what your 4 micro goals are and then I want you to ask yourself what are the necessary actions I have to take in order to make progress, in order to finish, to achieve, to get the results of that micro goal, what's going to create traction? Not just motion, but traction. What's going to actually move you forward. And I want you to do that for every goal you have. Up to four there. As I'm doing this, one of the things that I feel is going to help me gain traction in some of these areas is to make sure that I go into each of these tasks with a really clear, focused mind. So one of my tasks underneath or one of my actions to take is always five minutes of self coaching ahead of time every time. It helps so much. And so notice I said five minutes. Now I want you guys to look at each of these tasks and I want you to estimate how much time each one of these tasks are going to take. Just write down, you know, like I just said, if you're going to self coach before any of these tasks, five minutes. Some of these for me, require me to get on a call with somebody. The call is probably going to take 30 minutes. Gracie and I have started doing this. When we're working together, we'll create a list of tasks that need to get done that are going to get us closer to our goal for the day. But before we start, we estimate how much time we think it's going to take. It makes it so much easier, you guys, to see the white space you have, which is our next step, and be able to block it in, in a, in a more effective way. It's. It's really interesting once you are finished to see if you're even close to your estimate. So just go through all of those. Jot down how long you think it's going to take. All right, now we're going to lock it in. Now I want you to turn to the calendar. You should have seven days of daily plan planners. Today is Monday, October 6th. I want you just to ground yourself in the week by adding the date into the top right hand corner of the next seven days. Tomorrow, October 7th, Wednesday, October 8th, Thursday, October 9th, Friday, October 10th, Saturday, October 11th and Sunday, October 12th. And now I want you to look at today's calendar. Look at all the commitments that you have, where it is that you need to be and block those things out on your schedule. Today's schedule. If you are at work and you have all sorts of meetings and all sorts of commitments you can block, just work. You don't have to get into all the detail that your digital calendar might already have for you.
It.
And now I want you now that you can clearly see the white space you have today, I want you to look back to your weekly intentions and start finding the space that you can commit to some of these actions. You've got the amount of time you think it's going to take. Now I want you to schedule it into today, into the space that makes the most sense.
It.
Any questions? If you're done with today, feel free to look at the other days this week and do the same thing. I know a lot of you come to this call with the commitments that you have for the week already filled in. That sometimes is a nice practice as you're deciding when exactly you'll do these things. I also want you to kind of be asking yourself what will get in the way, what kind of obstacles are going to pop up and what boundary will I have to protect that time? I want you to be treating these commitments, these time commitments that you're making. Treat it like a non negotiable. This is a non negotiable meeting with your future self. That was one of the things that worked really well for me last week and is I kept having conversations with my future self. Super powerful. So every commitment that you're making today or on any of the other schedules for the remainder of the week, treat it like a non negotiable. It's a non negotiable meeting that you're having with your future self. That future self is like the most important person in the room. She's going to tell you if you get quiet and you ask her the question. She's going to tell you exactly how to think, exactly how to feel so that you are in alignment, so that there isn't resistance. And those feelings are going to drive the behaviors that gain traction. Okay, Now I want you to turn back one page to the weekly to dos and the brain dump two page spread that weekly to DOS page. These are all the non goal related to do's. It's likely going to be translated or transferred from the week before. There's going to be things that often didn't get done. This will be a living, breathing list that you can be adding to. But these are all the non goals. So if there are action items that come to mind that are goal related, those go on the weekly intentions. The non goal related like doctor's appointments, grocery shopping, taking something in the post office, cleaning the house. Those kind of things that are just taking up space in your head, get them out of your head and put it down on paper. All the random tasks, all the personal errands, maybe needing to refill a prescription, sending a birthday card, all of those kind of things. Your brain is not a vault, it's a processor. We want to keep it clear. We want to keep as much space in our brain so that when it's time to process, we have the space. We have the capacity to do that. Creating these kind of lists just allows you to believe it's all accounted for. I don't have to keep coming back to it doesn't have to keep me up at night. You can't focus if your brain is babysitting a dozen open loops. Give those loop those loops a home. So look at last week's list. The things that didn't get done probably aren't as important as you think. Can you delegate those things? Is there anything on that list that just needs to be deleted or delayed? Delegate, delete, delay. Maybe it doesn't have to be done right now, but if it does, just transfer it to this week's list. And then that opposite page where it says brain dump, this is the sheet that's provided for your for your daily coaching. So I literally just put the date today is 10 6. I ask myself at the start of every morning, how am I feeling? How am I feeling right now? I quickly peruse my bookmark or I turn back to the front of this book. The self made feelings are on page 32. The self sabotaging feelings are on page 26. I peruse all of those emotions so that I can clearly answer the question how am I feeling right now? And then I answer the question, why? That connects the dots between the thoughts that you're thinking or the beliefs that you're having and the way that you're currently feeling. Because they are connected. They're tightly connected. And I love that reminder and I love the fact that it provides me an opportunity to ask further questions if I want. Sometimes just knowing how it is that I'm feeling is enough. Other times I want to question that. I ask myself, is that even true? Most of the time it's not. It's a dramatic version of the truth and it's unnecessary and it's unhelpful. And to see that on paper allows me to kind of put space and not to wear it as an identity instead to be like, oh, that's just a thought my brain is thinking. It gives me space. I always feel a sense of freedom when I can do that. So that's what that page, that's how I use that page. Of course you can use it any way you want. But to really maximize this planner, do a quick self coaching like we talked about with your daily intentions. Five minutes of self coaching before you go into action. Use that page to do that. Ask yourself, how is that I want to feel going into it? How is it that I am? How am I feeling? What's that gap look like? Okay, so now turn back to today. And on the right hand side of today's planner are the thoughts and the feelings. This is where we're gonna lock things in. This is really what changes the game. I want you just to pick three events from today's schedule. Might be your 9 o', clock, might be your noon, might be your 2 o', clock, but you've just done the work to make some commitments and decide what time those commitments are going to happen. And so let's just call three of them. Event one, event two and event three. So just fill in that box. Okay, Go back to event one and decide how is it that you want to feel when you come up to that event, at whatever time that event is scheduled on, on today's schedule? On today's planner, ask yourself, ideally if I was able to choose any emotion in the whole world, which you are decide right now how it is that you want to feel. And I just want you guys to notice if you weren't asking yourself this question. Notice the unintentional feeling that shows up when you think about that event. So we're going to be intentional and decide ahead of time how it is that we want to feel and what it is we'd have to be believing to feel that way. And again, you can reference the self made feelings chart on page 32.
It.
Any questions? I want you to lock in your this week's identity. Finish this sentence. This week I'm the kind of person who finishes what she starts, takes fast action instead of perfect action, keeps promises to herself, knows how to reset without spiraling. This week I'm the kind of person who acts as her future self, connects with her future self, listens to her future self. And now what's the first thing you'll do to prove that to yourself? Your brain loves evidence. So if you're the first, if you're the person who connects with her future self, I will do that before every single meeting today. That's how I'm going to prove it to myself. Maybe I'll complete and submit the form that I've been avoiding. Maybe it's you'll turn your phone or all your notifications off before going into meetings. Maybe you're the person who finishes what she starts. And so turning off all notifications before starting something is going to provide that evidence for you. Maybe you are the person who stays committed to your health and wellness goals. And so the first thing you're going to do is prep tonight's meal so that you know it's ready that you don't wander into the kitchen all snacky. You have to provide the evidence so that your brain starts to believe who it is that you are becoming. This is execution over emotion. This is action over analysis. The self made version of you already knows what to do. Your job is to honor it. When you start fast and you stack wins, that's how you get to start writing this momentum. That's what this reset call is all about. Start fast, start every single Monday morning or Sunday night. This way you get to start stacking wins early and then you ride that momentum throughout the week. So thank you so much for being on this call. Does anybody have any questions? Alrighty.
I kind of wish there was something and maybe it's like a video or something that you post in school where all of these. Because I have the questions that you ask, you know, like what would the self made leader do next? I have all of those questions just written down at the top of every single week. And I know eventually when I run out of journal I'll have or planner, I'll have to consolidate all of my notes so I don't forget.
Yeah.
And I kind of wish there was a way that you could record, not like record yourself doing it, but record all of these questions that you ask yourself to kind of help in the middle of the week or something if we fall off and you know, like to get back on track.
Yeah. So I, I created an, like an AI just of me doing the reset process. So I'll give you that, I'll give you access to that.
Oh brilliant.
Okay. Yeah. So then you can like say okay Now I'm deciding how it is that I want to think and feel what should I be thinking about? And it'll prompt you.
Yeah. Okay, cool. Is it called Tracy GPT?
I called it. I can't remember what I called it.
I have one from another, another guy that I work with and I was like, you should call it. I was like, I need a Casey GPT. And he called it that. So it's like his brain dumped into an AI.
Yeah. Yeah. We did one for Gracie too. So hers is Gracie 2.0.
Oh, perfect.
And it's obviously all on dating advice. Yeah, I decided to do one just on resets.
Oh, cool.
So it doesn't have, you know, I mean, obviously the reset is very comprehensive and it, it includes a lot of what we teach. But I add any of the coaching calls or anything like that. It's just reset so that it stays really tight. Yeah.
And that's perfect. And like adding the questions like what would a self made leader do next? And yeah, because I know sometimes you can hit start and then it'll say, okay, let's start with these answers to these questions to kind of. But yeah, that's the thing, like when it comes to self coaching because it's just my brain. I don't always remember everything that I've written down. And so like having to go through it is.
Yeah, can be. Yeah. Ideally, I'd like to spend this time like I want to make sure people understand how valuable this is and actually do it. And I know like you too, you do it almost every week, but I want to get. I wanted to make a tool that would like encourage or make it feel easier. Like they always had, you know, if they wanted to do this on Tuesday. And obviously they don't have a coaching or they don't have a reset call on Tuesdays. They that they had a tool that would help them. So that's why we created that next. Which reminds me, next Monday I will be traveling so we won't have this call. So I'll make sure I get the GPT tour so that you can use it in lieu of this call.
Okay, cool.
Nice. Yeah.
Awesome.
All right. So good to see you guys at 11. Sounds good.
