Monday Reset Call Apr 28 2025

A Monday Reset Call (Apr 28, 2025) led by Tracy Pleschourt with participants including Gracie and Christian. The session walks attendees through a deliberate weekly planning process: reflecting on the past week (what worked, what didn’t, what to do differently), rating awareness and control (1–5), and setting weekly intentions/goals broken into bite-size action steps. The materials referenced include a goal planner (print or PDF) and accompanying worksheets; the call is offered within/for the Dating with Gracie community but applies broadly to professional, health, and relationship goals.

Hey there.
Hi.
How are you?
Great, thank you. How are you?
Good. It's nice to see you. Is this the first time you've been on this call?
Yes, it's my first time.
All right. Do you. Did you print out the worksheets?
No, unfortunately I have it on PDF, so.
Oh, yeah, perfect. Awesome. That'll work.
The weekly intention goals. 1, 2, 3, 4, and so on.
Yes. Yeah.
Okay, so this will. This is probably going to be slightly overwhelming just because it's probably a new concept for you, but ultimately, it is a really great way to deliberately plan out your week and really support yourself in progressing towards whatever your goals are. And you can help it. You can use it to help you move forward, you know, in any area of your life. I know a lot of you come into this through the Dating with Gracie community, and you have goals around changing your dating life, but it also will help your professional life, health and wellness, things like that. So I. We always have new people on this call, and so I will explain things as we go, but I just wanted to kind of tee it up for you that even if it feels a little overwhelming, stick with us because it's definitely worth understanding.
Yeah. Is it different from other. Like those goal setting workshops.
Within. Within our community?
This. This workshop, you know, with your goals? How is it different?
Yeah, so what we do is. Hold on one second. Let somebody in here. So we have a. A goals workshop for the people who aren't coming through the Dating with Gracie community, and they aren't even sure what their goals are. We have a goals workshop that really holds their hand through finding the area in their life that they're least satisfied with, and then from there setting the goals. And you are more than welcome to go through that workshop if you'd like, but most of the people that come through the Dating with Gracie community, they have an idea of what their goals are in accordance to changing our dating life. Yep. Hi, Christian.
Hi, Tracy.
How's it going?
So good, I would say. Hold on a second. Okay, now it's a little bit better. It's quite confusing to see yourself mirrored, so I had to fix this.
All right, I'm gonna get my cameras set up here. I try to set up a. A desktop view camera so it makes a little bit more sense in what page we're on and how we. Hey, Jen. All right, let's see. That's not the one I want. Switch camera.
There we go.
Okay. Where is everyone? We usually have half or we usually have at least a dozen people on this call. All right, well, we will go ahead and get started. We're forecasted to have some really big storms here in Minnesota, so I'm praying that our Internet holds out. Christian, is this the first time you've been on this call?
No, I've been on this call last week, but I've. I've had. Shut down my camera and my. My microphone.
Oh, okay. Okay. Well, since this is such a small group today, feel free to ask questions. Here comes more people. Stop me if. If you need some clarity on anything. We're going to work our way through what you guys probably have as worksheets. I have it in the form of the goal planner. You can get this on Amazon if you prefer to use an actual book, but we call it a goal planner. It also serves as a daily planner. And the purpose is really to help support you in progressing towards your goals every single day in a very deliberate way.
So.
So I was explaining to Wagner on the front end that we also offer a goals workshop. Most of you guys who are coming through the Dating with Gracie community, your goals are centered on changing your dating life. And Gracie helps you gain clarity on, you know, what the steps are going to look like. Inside of my community, I have people that. They're not sure what area they want to focus on. And so that goals workshop is really helpful in giving them clarity. So we look at eight primary areas of your life, and we find out which area you're least satisfied with. And from there, we set goals. So you all are welcome to go through that workshop. People find it pretty helpful to work on multiple goals at the same time. And so we work on goals not only in relationships, but in your professional life, health and wellness, fun and recreation, personal growth, your physical environment, finances. I mean, it's. It's. It's across the board. It's very comprehensive. So where we start every single week is by reflecting on the past week. When you're assessing what worked, what didn't work, and what can I do different? You put yourself. You set yourself up for success. So this is a. A cycle. So we do this reset call every single Monday.
And.
And we always start by assessing the past week. So this is what the page looks like, this weekly reflection. And you first ask yourself what worked about this past week. So how I go about filling this page out is I actually look at the prior week's intentions. So this was the intentions for last week. We will be doing this for this week here shortly. But I just look at this and. And ask myself, like, how much of this actually got done. I will look at my to do list. How many of those things actually got done? I'll break it down by the day and look at those to do lists. How many of those things got done? And I want you to answer this question. What worked well this past week in a very factual way. Okay, so just bullet point the things that worked well about this past week. Notice how your brain wants to go to what didn't work. That's human nature. Our brain, our primitive brain, the amygdala is very strong and it's very practiced at scanning for danger. Okay, that's its job is to keep you safe. So it's going to look for all the things that didn't work. And we want to know that that's very normal. But we're going to resist the urge to go there and keep our focus on what worked. So I want you to just state the facts, what worked well about last week and then you can go into what didn't work. Now the reason why we always start with what worked is because we want to challenge our brain to be in a place where intellect is high. We're stating the facts and emotions are low. And it makes it so much easier to then ask that second question about what didn't work because intellect is still high and emotions are still low. If we would have allowed ourselves to go into that dramatic place about all the things that didn't work right out of the gate, it would be hard to bring ourselves back to what actually worked. So you want to always use that strategy of asking yourself what didn't work? What when intellect is high and emotions are low. So again, I want you to be very fact based. Just state the facts. What didn't work? You might not have. Like for me, I didn't. I had a whole list of personal appointments that I needed to make last week. I didn't get any of them made. So that's the fact. Not one personal appointment was made last week. And now that you have what worked and what didn't work, now you can come up with a strategy around what you're going to do different this week. Okay? So again, very objectively decide what are you going to do different this week? Maybe to get some of those things done that didn't get done, maybe to be more intentional about doing this work on the front end of every single day. Maybe you noticed that working out in the morning is so much better than working out in the evening. I mean, it can be anything that you are deacting from this past week and for me, I didn't make any of my personal appointments last week. So this time, instead of just operating from a list of personal appointments, I'm actually going to schedule time this week to do that. And then finally, I want you to rate your week. So we're always looking for a way to measure, and I want you to rate your week. This is the objective, is to meet or exceed your past week. So on a scale of one to five, one, not at all. Five, highly aware, how aware were you of the sabotaging feelings? So, as you can see, at the bottom of every daily schedule, we have sabotaging emotions that we can check off. I typically do that in retrospect. I think back to the past day and I ask myself, feeling anxious? Was I feeling disappointment? Was I feeling resentful? Was I feeling vulnerable? And you do that to really heighten your awareness around the emotions that you're experiencing so that you can ask yourself why and you can connect it back to a thought so that you realize how much control you actually have over your days. We experience life through feelings. We experience days through feelings. So if you recognize why it is that you're feeling something, something that might actually sabotage you, you all of a sudden gain control. So that second question, on a scale of 1 to 5, how much control do I feel again? What we're going for is we're trying to meet or exceed last week's ranking. Any questions on that? Okay, this is a best practice, always assessing what worked, what didn't work, and what am I going to do different? This holds true under any circumstance. If you are somebody who is a creator, if you are somebody who is courageous enough to try new things, one of the best practices is always assessing, assessing what worked, what didn't work, and what can I do different. So we include that in this process. Now I want you to turn the page to the weekly intentions. Now, this is where we decide what it is we are going to focus on. You do not have to fill out all four goals. All four of mine are related to my professional life. Yours could all be related to your dating life. You might have one or two that are related to health and wellness and one that's related to relationships and one that's related to finance. But the point is, this is your area of focus for this week. And if you know that maybe you have a really busy week, maybe you just want to focus on one goal to make progress on. So you're simply going to put your areas of focus and then you're going to follow up with the actions. You're going to really boil down the actions that if you were watching somebody make progress on your specific goal, what would you see them doing? What are the steps? And you literally cannot break these steps down too small. I highly recommend breaking them down into the smallest, easiest steps that are almost too hard not to do. Okay, so I'm working on a sponsorship program and I have to finish the media kit and I'm just a couple pages away from that. I have a couple bills that need to be paid around our next book that's coming out. We're working on a dating app and apparently a competitor of ours just launched a dating app. So I'm going to look at that today or this week and then the. My fourth goal is our podcast and. Or my fourth area of focus is our podcast and we just paid somebody to audit our podcast and he gave us two hours worth of ideas that things that we can change up. And so implementing some of those changes this week is a big focus of mine. Now I could break that down into all sorts of steps and that would probably be helpful for me. Okay. But this is my intention for this week. These are all the things that I'm going to make progress on in relation to. To the goals that I have to the professional goals that I have. Do you guys have any questions on that? Gracie, I know you're on here. Do you want to give some suggestions for areas of focus and maybe the actions that they would be taking?
Yeah, I think everyone on here should have a good idea or a general idea of what they're working on. This exercise is really to help you solidify that, put it in a week's worth of like smaller goals for yourself and then deciding the action steps that would help you get there. And so if you've done a six week plan with me, then you should have them broken down into weeks and those would be your goals for the week. If you haven't done that, then deciding for yourself what area could. What area is going to help me make the most progress in my dating life this week? And like really stay specific to just this week. We're not looking ahead. We're not looking at everything from a broad scope. All the different things are all the different skills that you need to learn. Just this week, what is the next best step forward for you? So I know that some of you were on last week's group call and we talked about some ideas about how to. How to get yourself out in front of more women, how to strike up conversations with More women. If getting comfortable talking to women you're interested in is a goal of yours, break that down for this week. What would that look like? What would, what would the actual steps of me getting used to that look like? And again make it into like bite size actions that actually feel doable for you. So if that's your goal to, to get comfortable talking to women you're interested in, a good starting point is finding the places that women you're interested in are going to. Right. Whether that's dance classes, whether that's a group fitness class, whether that's the coffee shop, whether that's like common areas at your workspace. Right. Like find the places that would probably be one of the goals. Right. And then maybe another goal is getting comfortable just starting up the conversation. So maybe that looks like being really intentional and present about your surroundings. If you're in a coffee shop, what questions could you have in your back pocket for in case you run into somebody or see somebody that you're interested in? Right. So that's kind of how we want to break these down again. We want to make them very bite size doable actions in a week span. So that's kind of where I would start. And if you have any questions on that, feel free to come off mute. I would love to chat about any of your goals. Otherwise just start jotting these down. I also, I was just about to put in the worksheets because I know a few of you are new and maybe have never joined this call before. So I was going to link the worksheets that follow this book that my mom has pulled up right now.
Okay, so the next worksheet or the next page in the book that we would then move on to is this weekly to do list. So we've been really deliberate, very intentional about what it is that we're going to do that's going to get us closer to our goals. But because this book is is meant to be your go to resource day in and day out. We also want to capture all of the other things, all of the other like non goal related to dos that tend to distract us. So for me I have, we have a pest control chemical that gets mailed to our house. I've got to get that applied. The real id. I need to make an appointment to go get my real idea id. I need to get to a consignment store, make an eye doctor appointment and pay a dentist bill. Okay. These are all things that keep me distracted. I'm like, oh, I have to do that. Oh I have to do that right and I might have something clipped to the pinned to the cork board in our kitchen there might be a bill laying on the kitchen counter like things are all over the place I want you to use this space as a place to capture it all Our brain is not a vault when you treat your brain like a vault you're starting to use it in a way that it wasn't it was never meant to be Our brain is a processor okay so support yourself by doing things like making to do lists in a in a place that's very accessible so it's right next to the intentions that you've set to make progress towards your goal and this next page is called the brain dump we have this page in front of all of our daily planners and this is your space to do a little self coaching session every single morning so I simply just write the date as you can see last week I came back here for.
