Monday Reset Call Mar 10 2025

This is a group "Monday Reset" call (Mar 10, 2025) led by Tracy Pleschourt to teach a weekly planning ritual. Tracy guides participants through reviewing last week (what worked, what didn’t, awareness/control ratings), choosing four weekly priorities with supporting actions, capturing non-goal to-dos, and completing daily planners. A core exercise is picking three events each day, choosing desired feelings and believable thoughts for those events, and setting reminders to catch self-sabotaging thoughts. The call also notes related resources in a book (pages/bookmark) and upcoming workshops (health, professional development, finances, weight-loss).

Good morning. How's it going?
Good. How about yourself?
Pretty good. I've been. I have been working on an app all weekend. Trying to create an app.
Yeah. Is that your million dollar idea?
Oh, well, I don't know if it would be my million dollar idea, but it's a great idea, that's for sure. And it has just challenged me to no end. It's amazing.
That's a good sign.
Yeah, it is. I did some coaching on it this morning and I'm like, you know, I wouldn't want it to be easy because I certainly wouldn't be as proud of it at the end.
Right.
Easy. So, yeah, it's. But it g gave me a newfound appreciation for those people who do this day in and day out. That's for sure.
Well, good luck to you.
Thank you.
How's everyone else?
Good morning, Brent. How are you this morning?
Good. Just waking up. Have work in a little bit too, so. Cramming everything in.
Yeah.
You're so.
You're so good. You're good.
You just come to these meetings, you do your work, and you've got such a positive attitude.
It's.
It's always lovely when I see you on. On the screen. I'm always like, oh, yay.
It's.
It's taken a lot of work, you know, and sometimes you gotta fake a smile, too, just to, you know, it's like they say, it's easier to act your way to a feeling than feel your way into an action.
Wow, that's profound.
I know. I was just like, okay, I gotta think about that.
I gotta write that down. That's pretty cool.
You could add that to your app if you find a place to put that.
I did actually put a quote on the app every single day, so I might have it.
Well, it was a. It was a saying that my pastor used to say a lot. My ex pastor.
Yeah. All right, Gracie. I don't know. Are you driving? Are you on your way here? I am. I'm in the car. I should be there in like, six minutes. All right, sounds good. Okay. Good morning, Jen. Good morning. Good morning, Cara. Morning. Morning. All right, well, let's get started. I will watch. I thought Kim was going to get on this this morning, but I. Am we recording? I think so. Okay, so this call is the reset call, meant to support you in planning your entire week. Okay. So we go through. We get it all the way down to what it looks like to plan out a day so that you can repeat what we do today to plan out Monday with intention you can repeat that with the remainder of days on your own. If you get stuck, come to Wednesday's call, because Wednesday's call is an opportunity for you to really work through any sort of obstacles, like certain behaviors that you'd rather not be doing or feelings that you'd rather not be feeling or thoughts that you just can't shake. There you're noticing that these are sabotaging thoughts. Maybe you don't know what's going on. You just don't like your results. That is what Wednesday's for is to work through it. But having something to reference to really be able to measure whether or not your week is going well, whether or not you need assistance on Wednesday is, I think, is super, super helpful. So let's get started. I'm going to try something new today. Isn't this, like, so sophisticated? So fancy, Tracy. I know I was fancy. I was on a call with somebody else, used this method, and I was like, oh, my God, this is exactly what I need to be doing. Oh, that's your. Oh, that's your. That's your book. You spotlighted yourself. Yes. So. Oh, okay. Oh, my God. I thought. I thought that was like a moving background that you had screenshotted and. Yeah, no, I love the spotlight method. Okay, so I want you guys to all turn to this page, the weekly reflection page. This is where we're going to start. So we are reflecting on the past week. And where I go with this is I turn back to my intentions page. Okay. So I can better assess how the week went by just kind of perusing what my intentions were. So I'm reflecting on this past week by referencing this page. So look at the goals. Goal 1, goal 2, goal 3, goal 4. If you have that many, look at the actions that you had intended to take. Look at how many check marks you have next to these things. Look at the things that don't have check marks. And now you can better answer these questions. What worked well? What didn't work this week? And what will I do differently? So we start with what worked well, because we want your brain to just look at the facts. We want your brain to be very objective. We want emotions to be low. So what worked? What got done? And just make a few notes about what works.
Just wanted to say that I'm very, very grateful that Amazon sent me my book because I hadn't realized that I was on the last page.
Yay. Yeah, a lot of people got their book this week. That's. That was a huge win for me. And we Got a whole bunch of reviews, which is huge. Okay, so now the next question is, what didn't work? So now that we are in a place where intellect is high, emotions are low, that's when we want to ask this question. We don't want to be in an emotional space when emotions are high. So again, being very objective, what worked or what didn't work this week? So again, you might want to peruse your weekly intentions. You might want to just peruse each day and take a, take a look at what kind of check marks you have, what kind of things didn't get done. You might want to be perusing the self sabotaging feelings. Okay, next question. What will I do differently next week? For me, I've noticed a lot of the things I'm dealing with have a very long Runway, they have a lot of lag time. I'm dealing with a lot of different time zones and a week can go by with no progress because I'm waiting on emails to come through or. So there's. I know that I have to be a lot more proactive on the front end to get the things moving that have these long runways. So that's what I'm going to do differently this week. I'm going to assess what type of things have these long runways and get those done first. Maybe last week I probably did the things that came easiest to me or I did the things that maybe were most pressing in the day. And losing sight of these things that have long runways due to time zones put lotion on my hands and so my hand is super slippery. It. Okay. And then on a scale of one to five, one being not at all, five, being highly aware. How aware of those sabotaging feelings and the thoughts that were causing them. How aware were you? So this would be looking back at the each day and noticing, did you, did you check any boxes? How aware were you of these sabotaging feelings? And then on a scale of 1 to 5, how much control do you feel over the progress that you've made towards achieving your goals? How much control? It's not on a scale of 1 to 5, how much progress did you make? It's how much control are you feeling? Are you feeling out of control or do you feel like you have control? And I think it's interesting just to reflect back on your past weeks and see if these scores are meeting or exceeding past weeks. I know a lot of you are new to this work and maybe you don't have a past week to reflect on, but that for future Purposes. Okay. Now we're going to set our intentions for this coming week. So today is March, Monday, March 10th. I want you to again just restate your goals. Okay. So for me, I think it's easiest just to again flip back to last week's to be reminded what were those goals? If you are wanting to, why did it just do that. If you're wanting to reflect back on the, on the big goals, you could certainly do that too. Pages 18 through 21 will give you what your actual big goals were. Finance, health and wellness, My professional and dating with Gracie. So you get to decide what hits these four spots. What are the four priorities for this week? They can be the same. They might be a little different from last week. And now I want you to take time to decide what are your intended actions so that you make progress in these different areas. Maybe it's just looking back at last week's and filling out the things that you didn't get done last week. Maybe there's some newer, more pressing priorities that you want to add it sa it, Sam. Okay, so you have your four priorities, your four goals that you're going to focus on this week. You've supported yourself by creating the actions that are going to move you closer, that are going to help you progress towards these. This is what you're going to reference on a day to day basis. Good morning, Salvador. Okay, now I want you to turn the page. Now we are on the weekly to do's. These are all of the non goal related actions. Okay, so we just did a deep dive into the actions that are going to get us closer to our goals. Now I want you to capture all of the additional to do's and a great place to start is by referencing last week's. Look and see how many of these things got done. How many of these things need to be moved over. How many of these things might not be important to you anymore. Okay, so these are all the non goal related to do's. Feel free to ask questions if anybody has questions. This is where I start remembering other things that need to be done. Sa think about as the season is changing, are there things that need to be taken care of? We, we just started a new month. We have daylight savings time. There's all these dynamics that affect our weekly to dos. So again, these are different than these. You're not just repeating them. These are the, these are the actions that are going to get you closer to your goals. This is everything else. And now on this next page, this is a page for you to do your own self coaching every single day. So here's how I do this. I just write today date 310 and I quickly just kind of assess how am I feeling and why it a lot of people think about self coaching in a way that you only use it when you're dealing with unwanted feelings or you're dealing with unwanted results. It doesn't have to be reserved for that. As you saw, I just wrote, I'm excited for this week. I'm starting to see progress in both businesses. That might be like the golden ticket for me on Wednesday when I'm not feeling so excited. Right. It's a great point of reference to be reminded of what are some of the thoughts that bring wanted feelings. Gracie and I did it like kind of an impromptu coaching session yesterday and we came up with some thoughts that were really helpful in the moment when our fear based brain starts to spiral. It's great to have a place to capture that. That's what that page is for. Okay, now first thing I want you to just date all the pages. So today, Monday 3 10. Tuesday 3 11. Wednesday 3 12. Thursday 3 13. Friday 3 14. Saturday 3 15. Sunday 3 16. Okay. Now anything that you already know is hitting you can tell what's important. In my week, I had to make sure I got it on the calendar. Anything that you know is already planned for the week, appointments, get it on your calendar right now. Anything that's repeating that you know is standing on any of these days, go ahead and write them down. Sa you have to reference your digital calendar. You have to look at emails to reference some notes. Okay. And now come back to today. Look at today's schedule. You don't have to be down to the minutes. You can take it in blocks. For those of you who work outside the home and you know that between the hours of nine and five you're going to be at your office. You could put nine to five office if you wanted to. You can be a little bit more detailed and you could put some of the things that are going to happen while you're at the office. This is entirely up to you on how you want to handle your schedule. But getting the main events in here is important. As you can see. I even put like my drive time, I have to leave for lifetime at 3:30. That's like big because if I don't put that down, I'll forget. So all of the big things that are going to happen today they get put down with the time, what time. I know what's going to happen. For those of you who are in the weight loss program, this is a great place for you to decide ahead of time what time it is that you're going to break your fast, what time it is that you're going to eat, what is your fasting window. So if you are going to break your fast at let's say 1 o' clock this afternoon, put 1 o' clock and what it is that you're intending to eat and now that you can see what kind of white space you have, ask yourself, is there any room to take on something from my to do list or an action that's going to get me closer to my goals? So this is what I do. I can quickly see I don't actually have a lot of room. I'm going to have some space between 10 and noon, which is going to be prep for, for the podcast. Noon. I have a coach call one. We're going to record the podcast and that always takes me right up until I run out the door. So I don't have a lot of open space. The open space that I do have, this is what I'm going to be doing. But tomorrow I will have some more space and tomorrow I will be looking, I'll be referencing my to do. I'll see if there's anything I can quickly get off this list and I'll be referencing these actions. It's super important that on a day to day basis, you guys, you are assessing how much free time, unscheduled time you have so that you can schedule some of these things. Sometimes I'll take these and I'll transfer them right onto the to do's. This actually is something that was on my to do list. So I put it in the or. It was something right here. It's part of my goals. So it, it got put on today's to do and that's huge. That's gonna create some big progress. Tomorrow I might book the travel. I will be booking the travel. I've always heard that Tuesdays are the day to book travel. So in the back of my mind I've been thinking, wait till Tuesday, wait till Tuesday. Okay, now this is the part that I want you to pay very close attention to because this is what sets us apart. This is how this tool can be absolutely life changing. I want you to pick three events from today's schedule or today's to dos. It could also be one of your goals because the way you're thinking about your goal is going to have a direct impact on how you're Progressing. So pick three separate events. It can come from today's schedule. It could come from your daily to do's. It could come from from your specific goals. Just fill in the blank of event one, event two and event three. Now go back to event one. Ideally, how do you want to be feeling about that event? This is the time where you're going to want to reference your bookmark. Or you could reference pages 32 or 33. Okay. On these pages, these are the self made feelings. Gratitude, appreciation, thankfulness. We've offered you some thoughts that create these feelings. And there is a whole column right here that asks you when you get your book. Upon receiving this book, this is an exercise I want, I want everyone to do. What are the believable thoughts that create these feelings for you? Jot them down so that you have this as a reference tool. Any questions on this? I know this might be new for some of you. This is one of the additions to the book. So you want to use a hack. Just look at your bookmark. I asked myself for event one, the coach call, how do I want to feel? Ideally, how do I want to feel? I want to feel confident and connected. What would I have to be believing? What believable thoughts are going to create that feeling? If you need some help again, you can turn back to this page. Reference the thoughts that we've suggested, Reference the thoughts that you've suggested. Or find that feeling on this bookmark and look at the suggested thought and do the same thing. For the two other events it Sam. Okay, now the next step. I often will set my alarm. I know my coach call is going to happen at noon. At 11:59, I'll have an alarm go off that will be labeled with either the feelings or the thought. I want to remind myself, I want to support myself. I've just done the work to decide ahead of time how it is that I'm going to show up. At 53 years old, I cannot often remember. So I need to support myself and just set an alarm. I also, as the day unfolds, I'm going to challenge myself to stay aware of these feelings, of any sabotaging feelings, so that I can handle that with compassion. I used to be the person that when a sabotaging feeling like guilt or overwhelm or frustration, I mean, like I'm saying, I used to be that person. As recent as last night, I was so frustrated with this app that I've been working on and the frustration was just compounding because I would feel frustrated and then I would make that mean that I'm way out of my league. I don't know what I'm doing. I shouldn't be wasting so much time. There's a million other things. Like all of the thoughts. None of that was helpful. None of that was helpful. And so when I'm aware of the fact that I'm in that spin, I can be like, wait a minute, timeout. Is this feeling helpful? No. Is this thought even true that I shouldn't be wasting my time? No. It's A, it's not a waste of time. B, it's teaching me something that I've never really thought I needed to know. And I'm in. I'm putting in the time that is going to create a tool that's going to be so helpful for people. It's not supposed to be easy. That was the thought that I came up with. This is not supposed to be easy. I wouldn't take nearly as much pride from this exercise if it was easy. The fact that it's hard is on purpose. So when you notice those sabotaging feelings, all I want you to do is ask yourself, why am I feeling that way? What's the thought that's causing it? Because when it's coming from your fear based mind, it's almost never true. It's very dramatic. But it takes a lot of energy to be able to catch it. And so through this exercise, whether it's in the moment that you're catching it or it's in retrospect, maybe tomorrow, as you're filling out your Tuesday daily planner, you're thinking about yesterday retrospectively and you're remembering. Yeah, I felt a little shame. I felt disappointed. Ask yourself, do you want to continue to feel that way? Because in that moment you have the power, you have the agency to change the way you're feeling. And those feelings matter because they're going to drive your behaviors. They're going to drive the behaviors that ultimately could sabotage you or create self made results. So you have to stay aware. Okay, for those of you who are going through the weight loss program, one of the events could be your weight, it could be your goal weight, it could be the food that you're eating today. It could be a food that you know is a trigger food for you. There's a lot of ways to make these events on this daily planner really support your progress. Because if you decide ahead of time how you want to think about that circumstance, you remain in control. When you don't deliberately think and feel, you give all of your control away, you'll just operate and go through the day on autopilot. So by doing this exercise at the beginning of the week and then every single day after, we stay in the driver's seat, this doesn't have to take more than 10 minutes every single day. Of course, Monday takes a little bit longer because we're reflecting on the past week, we're setting our intentions for the next week, we're kind of gathering all of our resources, but on a day to day basis following Monday, it doesn't have to take more than 10 minutes. And if you're somebody who's struggling with the actions, with the actual things that you want to be doing differently, let's say you thought you had a really strong list of actions that were going to get you closer to weight loss last week, and you didn't lose any weight. That's why we conduct workshops on a weekly basis on lots of different topics. As we grow, the offering of different workshops are also growing. So we're going to have workshops in health and wellness, we're having workshops next month. And personal development, we're going to have workshops on professional development, finances, fun and recreation, contribution and giving. So if any of those areas are an area of focus for you, but you aren't a hundred percent confident in what actions you should be taking. That's why we provide these workshops so that you have exposure to new ideas. Not only to new ideas, but different coaches who have a special interest in those areas that can help you in a more one on one setting, should you want that. Anybody have any questions or comments on how this is working for them? If this is not working for you, I certainly want to know that I want to be able to assist you in making this a very powerful part of your week.
Just wanted to say I really like.
The new layouts of the new book. Yeah, thank you. Go ahead, Brett.
I was just going to share a thought and because it kind of helps me out and it deals a bit with kind of the idea behind the setting the goals and everything. And you know, in life there's expectations that, you know, life sets on us or people set on us. Like, I know for me it was kind of following expectations of family. And you know, those expectations can be goals that people have on us and sometimes we just accept them because we're like, oh, you know, I gotta make this person happy, I gotta make that person happy. This, these, you know, these goals and intentions that we set for ourselves is a way for us to set the expectations for ourselves. You know, these are goals that help us to have more control of our lives. And, you know, sometimes these goals help us to have better boundaries or to feel more productive feelings. And, of course, when you start something new, there's probably going to be something.
