19 Years Old & Making £10K/Month From My Laptop (Here's How)

In this interview, Shelley Young sits down with Elena (referred to as Eniola) to dissect how the 19‑year‑old went from university dropout and a struggling clothing‑brand founder to earning her first £10,000‑plus month in remote sales within five months. Elena recounts her pre‑sales background, the moment she discovered remote sales, and why she joined Shelley’s Female Sales Accelerator (TFSA). She explains the practical steps she took – daily role‑plays, creating Loom videos, applying to offers consistently, and handling rejections – as well as the internal mindset work that turned belief into results. The conversation highlights the importance of community, mentorship, and taking action over waiting for perfection. Elena shares her daily schedule (4 am‑1 pm work block, free afternoons), the hardest moments (early calls, fear of rejection), and her biggest breakthroughs (stepping out of comfort zones, embracing feminine energy in sales). She offers concrete advice for beginners, outlines what she would do to rebuild from scratch, and reveals her next goal of a $20K month. The interview serves both as a celebration of Elena’s success and a roadmap for other young women seeking financial freedom through remote sales.

Hi girls, welcome back to my channel. We are joined with Eniola. Welcome.
Hello, hello everyone.
So we are sitting down today to do a case study, but we are going to be doing things a little bit different. I really wanted to be able to celebrate Eniola's success today while also teaching you watching exactly how she was able to do it. So, in this case study, we are sharing the road to your first $10K month in remote sales, because that is what we are celebrating. And Eniola is 19 years old. She went from studying at uni and having a clothing business on the side to trying to find the vehicle that would actually give her the success she wanted. She wanted the freedom. She wanted to make money. She wanted a pathway to actually be able to build her dream life. And let me tell you, she was prepared to do whatever it took to get her there, which is evident because here we are. Cut to now, we are celebrating her first $10K month within remote sales, which took her only 5 months to get there, which is absolutely insane, especially at 19 years old. Like, that is literally mind-blowing. So, I'm super, super excited to sit down, obviously, with you today, Analia, and to share with you girls watching the exact path and the exact roadmap she took step by step to actually see this success. So, let's get into it. First things first, I would love for you to take us back to before remote sales, like before you knew it existed, Obviously we know you're at uni, we know you're doing your clothing brand, but give us more. Like, what were you doing? How were you feeling? And what made you want to look outside of that path?
Yeah, of course. So I feel like I had always known that I wanted to start a business and have something of my own and just exactly like you said, kind of be able to create my dream life and have that freedom, whether that be travel, Like live wherever I want to in the world and just like afford those things. So I think I had always had that in the back of my mind and I was a really, really big like nerd in school. So I loved like studying and I was like, I'm just gonna study my way there. So fast forward to now, dropping out of uni is like pretty crazy. But I think before sales, I had like, I had 3 jobs that I was using to like fund a clothing brand because you do need like to put in a lot of money. in terms of like getting stock. Like, it's so much money. I was like, you know what, I'm gonna do this, like 3 jobs to save up for that. I was putting that into the business, and I was also at uni studying business, which was ironic because I did not learn anything about business there. So I think it was just like hectic. I always loved being busy, but it was all— it was almost like it just still felt like it wasn't going to get me there as soon as I wanted to be there, I guess you could say.
100%. And we have a very similar background because we're both started a clothing brand. Now, from my perspective, I thought like a bricks and mortar traditional product-based business was genuinely the only way to help me become rich, honestly. Like, that was the only way for financial freedom because that's all I'd seen. What's your perspective on that at the time?
I think I was exactly the same. I was like, I'm gonna need a business, like, I'm going to need to grow this. This is going to be like the only way. Like I'm searching up like jobs and like this is going to take me like 10 years if I want to be earning like over $10K a month. And in 10 years I want to be building more and like have something for myself. So I always thought like I'm gonna have to build something. But then I kind of found this and I was like, wait a minute, like this is actually like crazy. Like you just learn a skill and like you can kind of get there. Like what?
Yeah, it's crazy, right? Because I think not a lot of people talk about it enough. And obviously the online space is growing. So more young women are starting to cotton on to the fact, but oh my goodness, imagine the money we would have both saved if we found this before going down the path. And there's nothing to discredit business. Some people are super successful with the bricks and mortar, but it's, you mentioned earlier about wearing a lot of hats. Like, talk about that.
I think it was just like, It was definitely like a mode of like just like do more, like work more, put in more. But like I was still always gonna be like capped. So I had like 3 jobs. I was like always working. I was like known to like just find time to like do anything and just like always work just because I was like, you know what, I'm gonna try save as much money as I can, like put it into my business. So I would try like max out my hours. But you get to a certain point, you're just like, I'm working so much and like I Still am not like there. It's like you kind of get like impatient, and you're putting all this effort into something, and you're like putting in all this effort. Like you kind of get you're just like what's going on? So I think I was like a little bit lost and just like how much longer am I going to be able to do this?
Yeah, because we're taught to trade hours for money. So you cap at that rate, right?
Exactly.
And talk to us about dropping out of uni because that's. big? Like, I'm sure you would have felt pretty scared, or what was that like?
100%. So I like dropped— I decided I was gonna like drop out and leave, and I didn't tell like my parents because I was just like, I didn't want to ask. Yeah, I didn't want to ask for permission because I just had so much like conviction in this. Like, when I found sales and just learned about the industry, I was like, if I actually dedicate all this like time and energy into this. Like, I'm gonna get there. And obviously seeing you, like, seeing the case studies from, like, the other girls, and then also kind of hopping into the community, finding offers, just, like, learning everything, like, all the basics. I was like, I can do this. I just need to, like, dedicate all my time to this. So it was definitely super scary, but I feel like I made the decision and I was like, I'm gonna put all the effort to, like, obviously prove to my parents that, like, this is gonna work. And I was like, there's no option. Like, this is gonna work.
Yeah, super, super interesting. And when you first discovered that women, you know, your age, your background, were making significant income through remote sales, what went through your head when you discovered it?
I think I had, I had seen it before, bits and pieces, and I was a little bit skeptical because obviously, like, it's not every day that, like, you see someone earning like $20,000, $30,000, or like we have some people $50,000 in commissions that like I work with, just like earning that type of income like per month. I feel like that's something it's never, it's never spoken about like in school that there's like any even an option to do that, or just like in life in general. That's something that it's kind of like you're gonna have to sacrifice that many years, put in this much like study to kind of build your way and work your way up there. So I think when I first found out, I was a little bit skeptical, but then when I did a little bit of my own research, I watched every single one of your YouTube videos. That was where it got it for me. I watched all your YouTube videos from you starting and your journey, and I was like, wait a minute, the math is mathing. It makes sense. And that's when I just took action. Yeah. I was like, I'm going to do this.
And what finally made you decide that you were going to stop watching other people doing it and you actually do it yourself? Do you remember that light bulb moment?
I feel like the light bulb moment for me was actually watching one of the case studies, which is why I was really excited to do this with you. I think I watched Karuna's case study and she was Australian as well. And she was talking about her journey and she had a full-time job. She had studied and she found that and she had left her job. And like hearing her story, I was like, I can do this. So that was kind of the light bulb moment. That must have been like the last video I watched before I was like, Shelley, like how do I get started? Like messaged you and I was like, how do I get started? Like I'm ready to go. Like let's do this.
100%. I think these case studies are so powerful, aren't they? Because you get to see, like you said, women from your background, similar age or country, It's like gives you that confidence, would you say?
Yeah, 100%. And I feel like just like seeing one person for me was like enough to do it. So that's probably like my biggest advice. Like if you're watching this today, like just take action because I feel like if I had thought about it or maybe like waited or done like even more research, like I would have probably started now and it's been like 5 months and I've just like hit 10K. So I think for me it was a big thing of just like taking action and kind of being like, I'll make this work.
100%. I think people underestimate themselves, especially women. We underestimate what is possible and the power and intelligence we have if we just lock in. Like, you know, it's pretty crazy.
100%. 100%. It's like, it's all like internal. I think that's like that was the biggest thing for me. It was like I can make this work. That was kind of the biggest realization. Like it actually just depends on me to like make this work, and obviously it's not going to be like the easiest at the start. But if you just promise to yourself that like this is what I want, and I'm just gonna dedicate all my actions into actually kind of achieving the goal and like my dream life, you'll actually get there. Like that's that's kind of the realization. It's like okay, like just. Put the work in and like you'll actually get there.
100%. So, we've covered obviously where you came from and the mindset that you had and kind of the steps you had to implement to get you to a point where you thought, you know what, I actually really want to pursue this. So, now I want to touch on, you found the Female Sales Accelerator, obviously you started watching me on YouTube. What made you decide to work with me and join the TFSA rather than just learning sales yourself?
I think for me it was one, like, the community. It was definitely like knowing that there would be a community of like girls that are all kind of going for like the same goal. I feel like having like that community, it's not so lonely. And also learning from like someone that's actually done what you want to do. Like, right now it's so crazy because I'm on the offer that you're on, and I'm sure we'll like touch on that, but I'm on like the offer that you're on. But, um, I think just learning from someone that's actually achieved what you want to achieve is kind of like living that life that you want to live. It's like, why not learn from them?
Yeah, 100%. And was it a big decision for you to join the program? Like, had you invested in online education before? Um, financially, like emotionally.
So obviously, like, I was— I must have been— I think I was 19. I just turned 19, but I had just finished school, like possibly 2 months before I had like invested. It was my first— it was actually my second time investing in like online education. And I feel like the only difference between the first time to now was just like, I was like, I'm gonna do whatever it takes, like make this work. And I also knew I'd like really enjoy it. So I thought that was the big biggest difference because before it was in some type of like businessy, like e-com thing, and I didn't put like any effort into that. But I think, yeah.
I love that you said that because people can invest in something and then not put effort in and then be like, it doesn't work for me. Like, I'm just not going to invest. I'm just going to go back to the 9 to 5 because the lack of self-awareness, which is no shade, like we have to grow and develop to gain that self-awareness. But you knew really the reason I wasn't successful, not because it didn't work, not because it was a scam, but because you just didn't put time into it.
100%. 100%. It was just like, that was probably the biggest realization, like just realizing that like you actually have the power to like create exactly what you want in life. That was like my biggest realization. And I think that's like what's helped me kind of like get to where I am now. It's because I've always done like, I have the power to kind of like get to where I want. If I want to achieve a $10K a month, like I can do that. It just kind of depends on me. Like even though we're coming into the community, we have you as like a guide. I feel like all the girls I've spoken to that have like gotten to their goals the fastest, it's because they decided that no matter what, they were going to get to their goals. And then having you is just kind of like that, like a light bulb moment. You're just like, you can speedrun there.
Yeah, yeah, no, so true. I'm like the confidence boost to believe in you just before you believe in yourself, but then you've got to do it. You know, I provide you the vehicle, but you're driving the car, you know?
100%.
Yeah, absolutely. And thinking about the girl who came into the TFSA versus the girl sitting here right now, what do you think has changed the most over the past, you know, 5, 6 months?
I feel like probably the goals have like changed the most because it's like very, very like eye-opening, like getting into the industry and just seeing like what is actually like possible. So I feel like my goals for like the future and also knowing that like it actually can happen, like this is real, like this is so real, and like seeing it like with my own eyes, I think that's what's changed. Like probably the girl that came in was like, oh my gosh, like if I can like make money in sales, like that'll be so good. Like I just need to make like $2,000 a month and then I can like quit like one of my And now, like, actually being in the industry, you're like, there's so much more that's, like, possible.
Yeah. So you'd say the belief in yourself, the confidence that you've grown on the other side of taking action, would you say?
100%. A big thing is, like, the confidence of, like, it's, it's really possible. And that's because of, like, just being surrounded by, like, a community of people that are all, like, kind of got their head in the game and getting there as well.
Because a lot of people think you need the confidence before you start. What's your take on that? No, not at all.
You get it after you start. I can promise you that. You get it after you start. If you wait for the confidence, like, I'd probably still be waiting if I was waiting for like the exact confidence.
Me too.
Yeah.
What were some of your, I guess, like biggest breakthroughs, if you will, that you've had inside the program, you know, that's translated to you actually getting better at sales and actually making the money you have?
I feel like one of like the biggest breakthroughs was actually like early on. I remember like we do like role play calls and I remember it was like my first time ever on like a role play call and usually like you practice a little bit beforehand, but I like clicked on that like raise your hand button and just like got started. So I think constantly like going outside of my comfort zone and always just like Always talking. Like, I was always saying something, just getting out of my comfort zone each time and like putting in the effort. I think that was the biggest like break— breakthrough, like kind of just saying like there's no reason to be like shy or like nervous or scared when you try something new. Like kind of just going for it.
Like I say, if you want what you've never had, you've got to do what you've never done.
Exactly, 100%.
Yeah, I love that. And beyond, I guess, learning how to sell, what did having, you know, me, the coaching, the community, the other women around you give you that you think you benefited on rather than kind of embarking on this journey alone?
I think what it really gave me was just everything you need to know when you come into this knowing like nothing. I feel like a lot of people, like, sometimes they even like reach out to me and they're like, Oh, like you started sales, like how did you do this? And I'm like, I feel like kind of starting with this, I had like all that knowledge like right there to kind of understand the industry as well. I feel like that was the biggest thing because I came in like not knowing a single thing about the industry, went through like all the modules in like the first week and was like, oh, I totally get this. So I feel like if I had like almost like waited to like totally get it before like just asking for help because there's people that understand it better than you, then again, I probably would have like never started. So I feel like that's the biggest thing, like just those very like beginning stages of like knowing what this is. Like, you won't be lost. Like, it's all there. You kind of follow the plan that you have for us and it's all there if you're like a complete beginner like I was.
I think it's quite easy as a beginner if you've ever tried something. I know I've tried things in the past without help and support from someone who's done it. It's very easy to be discouraged and give up because you don't know what you don't know. Is that exactly how you felt?
100%. 100%. It was just like I didn't know things, and that's exactly why I was like going to someone who like knew things and had like done this before. So I feel like that was like the biggest thing, just those really like beginning stages of like what is sales, to within like a week, 2 weeks of the program, like knowing exactly what the industry is and just continue coming to like calls, asking questions when it came to like offers, and really going from like a complete beginner to being able to like interview for offers and land jobs and perform. So that was crazy, probably the biggest shift. Even my mum's mentioned it. She's shocked. She's like, it's crazy to think a couple months ago you didn't even know what this industry was. Now I'm telling her all these things. So I feel like that's the craziest thing. Even my family's noticed.
It's so funny. I've actually had so many people say that, or a lot of people Parents who were like, do not join Shelley's program, do not do it. And now they're like, we love Shelley, we love the program. Everyone's mindset starts changing because obviously they see their daughters happy, you know.
Literally.
It's crazy. Um, so obviously ladies watching this will see you here making $10K months, seeing like you happy and successful. So we want to take them back to how You got there. So let's talk about landing an offer because everyone wants to know how to get on an offer that can make you this type of money. So talk us through your experience within the TFSA of interviewing for offers, finding offers, obviously how you landed your offer, etc. Share everything.
Of course. So I followed like Shelley's guide to applying to offers, and I think that was the biggest thing. Obviously you start with your Loom and it's just about like being consistent. I remember there was like one week I came to you and I had like so many offers that I had like received from like interviewing. So if you really are like consistent, I'd say the biggest thing is like in the numbers, sending out like applications, like it will work. Obviously you're gonna face like a bit of rejection like here and there, but that's like any job, so it shouldn't be like anything to be like fazed by. But just kind of following, like being consistent, doing the numbers in terms of Putting in applications and you'll have an offer within a week, 2 weeks. If you can just like promise yourself that you're gonna put in the work to get there, like it's very possible.
And was the offer that you're on now your first offer or did you have another offer before?
Yeah, that's the perfect story. So the offer that I was on right now was definitely not my first offer. It took me, I want to say, 4 Looms to get onto the offer. that I was like on.
Wow.
I sent over, yeah. I didn't give up. That was the thing, I didn't give up. And it's like some people might be like, wow, like 4 rooms. Like that's in the span of like maybe like 2 months. And now I've like hit the first like $10K month. So it's like if that's what like it's gonna take, that's what I mean, it's so possible. It's just about putting in like the effort. I was on, I want to say like 2 other offers before this one. and learnt heaps on them. Like getting on an offer, you're going to learn so much more like on the job. So definitely being on the job, I learnt so much more and I was able to take all of that knowledge then land the offer that I'm on now. It's just about like not giving up.
I love that. And there's 2 parts to that. First of all, not taking no for an answer because like you said, that's 4 applications over 2 months for the one offer. Most people would have done one and then sulked that they didn't get an interview, you know. That's number one. And then number 2 is your first offer doesn't have to be the be-all and end-all. It is okay if you get on it and you actually realize, okay, this is not going to be my $10K ticket, but it is going to give me experience. Did you feel like that at the time, or have you had to learn that?
I feel like you definitely have to learn that because you obviously want to come in and be like, okay, I got an offer. Like, this is, this is going to be the offer where like I make $10K. But I think the biggest thing in this industry is that first of all, there's so many opportunities. So you've got to keep your eyes open for whatever's out there. And it's also like, it's okay to take it as more of a learning experience and kind of look for what's going to be the next move. I feel like that's a really good mindset to have. And why wouldn't you want to be in a position where— I actually say this to a lot of people that are maybe in a bit of a rough spot of their journey. I go, you're one offer away from changing your life. And thinking that you're one like 30-second video away from like changing your life, like that puts things into like perspective. And everyone's like, oh my gosh, like you're so right. Like it's just one video that could like completely change your life. And when you put it into that, like don't you want to make 100 videos every single day? Because like one of those could like completely change your life. And I feel like that was like the case for me. Like it was just kept trying, sent it over like 4 times, and one of them ended up like Completely changing like life for me. So it's really that simple.
Totally. And I think people are so caught up on making it happen like this that they don't realize that they can make it happen like this if they're not counting the days and they're just counting the inputs that they're doing.
Exactly. That's like the, the biggest, biggest thing. Like inputs is probably the biggest thing. And like anyone like getting into this, Like, just tell yourself, I'm gonna do like whatever it takes and like I'm gonna get there. That was like my mindset to it. And like mathematically, we got there. Yeah,
100%. And for this roadmap, I really want to talk about the hard things because if we share with the ladies watching this all the hard things and that they know that's as hard as it gets. So, what for you was the hardest part of actually getting to a point of being good at sales where you can make $10K a month?
Of course. I think the hardest part was probably just— I wouldn't say— I think the hardest part was maybe having like a call that wasn't the greatest and like getting a review and like moving on from there. Obviously, like, you want to be perfect, but you're not gonna— you're not gonna be perfect like right off the bat. So if the hardest part is like making a mistake at something like you've never tried before, like That's what I'm saying. It's really, it's really like not too hard. I feel like that was the, the hardest part. Maybe I wouldn't even say like learning. I wouldn't even say learning was the hardest part. Maybe you'll have some days that will be like rough and you're kind of like, when is this like going to happen? And then you'll get a sale like 2 days later. But it's hard. I've actually, I've never thought about like what the hardest part was. You've actually like kind of got me there. Because I think it's more of like a journey.
It is. I think for you, what to share with everyone watching is you've always showed up. Like I always say, obviously I love all my girls within the TFSA, but there's always some that stand out that just have it. And what I mean by that is they're consistently showing up, they're consistently asking questions, and they have that kind of fire and conviction. They're not going to take no for an answer. Now, like we said, you have that, by the way. You didn't have the confidence before you came. You had to start in the fear and then gain the confidence. So it's not something for everyone watching this you have to have right now.
No.
But you just did the actions every day. And those actions, you showed up to the calls, you always put your hand up first, you always ask me questions first, create this outcome. So I think it's Doing the hard thing, even if you're scared, like we said earlier. It's just putting yourself out there. You're gonna get rejection, you're gonna have a bad call, people are gonna hang up on you.
Exactly, people are gonna— exactly. And just like bouncing back, that's like, yeah, the biggest thing. Probably the hardest part is like just starting, because like once you start, like you've started. That's probably like the, the hardest part for a lot of people. It's actually just like Taking the first step. That must have been like, that was probably my hardest part as well, taking like the first step. But like once you do, like just start putting the actions in and then yeah.
Was a sales conversation easier than you thought? And what I mean by this is we talk a lot about just genuinely leveraging your natural feminine strength, which is why women are so good. Did you expect the conversations with these prospects to go so smoothly, or what's your take on it?
I definitely have like realized that, especially on like my current offer now, because like the volume's there a lot. So I speak to a lot of people, and 100%, having that like feminine side, it gives you probably the biggest edge. Like, I would definitely say that, just because people like, they do want to talk to you. Like, you're talking to people that are like interested in whatever like you might be like selling. You're really kind of just helping them because it's something they're interested in. And just being like yourself and kind of like being a girl, I will say you definitely have an edge. And it's something I've like realized like really recently. I'm like, wait a second, like that was a great conversation. Then I kind of set them with a girl closer and they're, they're like, that was an even greater conversation. Like people do definitely love having like the feminine energy. So, if you're worried about like sales being something that's like super crazy and you have to be like really masculine, I think I thought that at the start, kind of just like being a girl, like people, you definitely do have that like advantage. It's like kind of funny, I never realized.
I love that, 100%. Let's talk about the internal work then. So, I'd love to know from your perspective, how much of getting to $10K months was learning sales? And how much of it was becoming the woman who was capable of producing that $10K internally?
Yeah, I want to say like probably the first like maybe 1, 2 months is like learning, but a lot of it is just like your mindset. And it's something like I had spoken about, like my manager, to like have this big month. It was more so like believing that it was like possible for me because I was very like new to the team and there had been like, like team members on there that had hit like $10K months like consistently for the past like 4 or 5 months. And I would like see them on the leaderboard and my first month on the team I was like, yeah, like maybe I'll, I'll get there in like a couple months' time. And then he kind of said to me like, you've got everything you need to like get there. So that's when I really looked like internally So I think it's really just believing, and it's hard to believe in something that you've never done. But when you're kind of a little bit delusional about it and you do just believe in yourself, I feel like that's kind of what got me there. So I want to say that last push to actually getting to $10K, it was all internal because there's only— sales is obviously something you continue to learn, but you're going to maybe be in that really learning phase for the first 1 to 2 months. from there, it's just about like believing in yourself that you can actually do it. That's like a whole other like obstacle.
Yeah, 100%. And for the girls but are also like super scared of themselves, like what would you say to that?
Oh, I think it cut out. If you say the question again.
Yeah, so I said, and for the girls watching this who do have that self-belief but are also just super scared of themselves, what would you say to them?
I would probably say that you don't have to do something to believe that, like, you can actually do it. That's what I would probably say. Like, you don't actually have to do it to believe that you can, because I feel like, like, believing in, like, something, you don't need to see it. You just need to, like, believe internally that, like, it is possible. And, like, knowing that it is possible, like, what's actually going to stop you from, like, getting there? That's, like, the biggest thing.
And I think hearing what you said, the root cause or the root, the start is action. You spoke to your manager, how do I get to £10K per month? He gave you the belief everything's there. You had the light bulb moment and then guess what? You picked up the phone and you made it happen.
Yeah, exactly. Literally just like taking action.
Yeah, because I think people put too much responsibility on external. What's your thought to that? Like they want, they need the perfect offer or the perfect situation or the perfect time, or we've had so many girls tell us in the TFSA this month after they go on vacation they'll start. Like, what are your thoughts to all those excuses?
I think for like all those excuses, you definitely, you just need to like decide that you, you want something and put everything into it to actually get there. And just be so like honest with yourself, especially like in sales. It's one of those things where it's like You definitely have to put like the inputs, but thinking that just being consistent every day is gonna get you like earning what some people take like a year to earn, or some people take like 7 years of like uni and studying to get there— just having, just being consistent every day, I feel like that's enough like motivation. So I would say to like all the like excuses, it's all like internal because you haven't like made that decision like yet. It shouldn't rely on anything else. It's all on you, like, making that decision, like, with yourself, keeping a promise to yourself, and then putting the work in.
Yeah, 100%. And what does it take? Like, what's a day in the life for you, 19 years old, making $10K a month?
So typically on the offer that I'm on now, because I'm in Australia currently and I'm on a US offer, So at the moment, I normally wake up at like, I'd say like 4 AM. So like it's nothing too crazy. Some people hear like 4 AM and they're like, what? And I'm like, I've gotten so used to it. And I finished the workday at about like 1 PM. So in that like work block, it's how many— trying to think like how many hours that is. Obviously like I take breaks and that. It's just about being consistent. I'm obviously, yeah, I'm obviously like setting. So like calling, calling leads up during that time. Doing like follow-up, and then I normally finish the day at like 1 PM. And I did that every single day, just same like process. And that's kind of like what got me there, just being really consistent.
So you have all that time free after 1 PM. What is that like?
Yeah, it's actually so weird. Like, that's something I'd say which is like so weird. Like, especially like a lot of my friends are like working, and they'll maybe finish work at like 5 or 6. So I'll be like, what am I doing from like now to then? When you get into like the routine of things, which I think is like a very, very, very important to like getting to like those big months, just having like a consistent like routine. You don't want to be like overworking yourself. You also want to be like putting in the right amount of inputs. You're kind of like, okay, like work's done, like stayed home, like what am I gonna do now? Like I just have free time. I'm usually at like a coffee shop somewhere, like going to the gym. It's like really good.
I love that, 100%. Did you expect to have that amount of free time but be earning this type of money?
Definitely, definitely not, not at all. Yeah, I feel like that's, that's something I learned because at the start I was like working all the time, like thought I had to be like working all the time. And yes, to a certain point, but I feel like being consistent and like having a routine, that's what's gotten me like the best results, just being very consistent. but also like having a routine and like, yeah, having all like that free time and like kind of building up that routine, starting early in the morning, finishing like mid-afternoon, like what works for me, has like been like crazy. I was like not expecting that at all.
Yeah. And what did it feel like when you realized you'd made $10K months?
I think I was just like, oh, it didn't feel like real because I was like, it didn't feel real. Like at all. I was like, wait a second, like, that's actually so, like, it's like, my gosh, like, okay, like, let's, let's do it again. I think it just kind of raised the bar. Like, I want to put in more now just to get, like, even further. I think that's what it did. I was just like, okay, like, we did it. Like, next goal, like, next month, like, let's go in for something else.
Yeah, and I mean, for you, you're a young woman who's earned this extraordinary amount of income in a month. from a skill that you didn't have one year ago. So how has that changed your belief of, I guess, what's possible for the rest of your life?
I think the biggest thing that's like changed my belief is like making a decision to actually go 100% like into something and it will like work out. So now I kind of have, because I've been able to like prove to myself that like if I put my mind to something and just step out of my comfort zone and do everything I can to achieve that, I'm like, I can achieve like anything that I do want to do. Because it's kind of just like, that's the formula. Like make the decision, take action on it, and just put in all the inputs to like get to your goal. And just having like that mindset, it makes like crazy things seem like so achievable. Because to think like while I was in school that I'd like drop out of uni and 5 months later be making like $10K a month, and in AUD, that's like $14,000, $15,000 AUD, all because I put my mind to something. Like, it's just completely changed, like, my perspective on, like, anything.
Yeah, it's so cool. So let's say everything disappeared tomorrow— your role, your training, your network, your current results, everything— and you had to rebuild everything you have in the next 90 days, tell us what you would do in the most simple form for the girls watching this, because they've logged on to this because they are inspired by you. They want to know how you make $10K a month at 19 so quickly. So what would you do?
Okay. So if I had to start from scratch, first thing I would do, let's say I was, I got TFSA, I'd watch the modules, start doing role plays, for like a week if we're going from like scratch, scratch. Start doing role plays for like the first 2, 3 weeks. Just really get started with sales, get an idea of things, and start applying to roles. Make my Loom, go on the job board, apply to like 10, 15 roles per day, get it going within 2 weeks, do the interviews, and then get started onto like a job and like go from there. That's what I would do. Just like really get started because you can really like I love that.
So for you, you would literally just get into the program, hit the ground running, do all the inputs, not waste any time.
Exactly. Not waste any time. Go to the calls straight away. Make sure to ask a question on the first call because I feel like the longer you delay it, then you start getting in your head. Start asking questions and just get started. That's Yeah. And I think that's a really good point. probably like my biggest thing, just get started.
And is there anything you wouldn't do again? Anything that you felt maybe you wasted time on?
I feel like if anything, I possibly maybe would have started applying possibly a little bit earlier and just started making Looms earlier. Yeah, there were so many girls that were like posting like Looms to like get reviewed, and like now there's like even a call about like Loom reviews. So just really getting started with the application process like earlier. I think maybe I would have done that because you learn so much like on the job. So it's nothing to be like scared about the actual like applying phase because that's where you're going to be able to learn like even more.
100%. So just get in there and get onto it and not kind of delay any time. I guess almost high level, not trying to wait for it to be perfect or for you to feel ready almost.
Exactly, exactly. Because I feel like you weren't— you will never feel ready. I definitely like did not feel ready. Like Any opportunity I took, but I think that's like why it's only been like 5 months, because I didn't wait to like feel ready or for like the right time. I just kind of got started with things.
And I guess off the back of that, what do you think separates the women who come into this industry and completely transform their lives like you from the women who start but never really get anywhere?
I think it's not like being honest with yourself. Because at the end of the day, any type of career— obviously this is something that you can have like tremendous results in a really short period of time— it's still going to require like effort. And if you want those like crazy results, put in that crazy amount of effort because you can get those crazy results. Like the proof is there. Like Shelley's done it, so many girls have done it. I've like been able to achieve like a really good month So it's like, just put in the crazy effort and you're gonna get that like crazy result. I think it's like really worth it. So just be like honest with yourself if you're gonna get started. Don't delay getting started for like the right time and just be, be consistent.
Yeah, 100%. I want you to imagine there's a girl watching this who's exactly where you were before you joined the TFSA. She's young, she wants more for herself, She doesn't want to go down the conventional path, but she's questioning whether she's confident enough, whether she's experienced enough, or capable enough of doing something like this. What would you say to her?
I think what I would say to her is just like get started, because on the other end, it's like a whole like new life, but you're never going to be able to get there if you just don't get started. So, I would say don't like overthink it, get started. You've got a roadmap and like you've got a guide, so just like follow that and like get started. That's probably what I would say. Don't like wait for the right time because you'll never, you'll never feel ready, like ever.
Yeah, and finally, you've done the thing that once felt impossible, right? You've made $10K in a single month. So, what's next?
I think what's next is definitely the biggest goal on the board is having a $20K month before like 20 or like by December. That's definitely, yeah, that's the biggest goal. So just putting in like all the inputs and effort to like get to there, that's probably like the biggest goal. And just continuing to like grow like in this industry, like meeting more people and like growing that way because it's definitely something I'm gonna do for like the rest of of my life, or at least for like the next couple years. Like, I love sales, fallen in love with it.
I love it. And I want to thank you so much for this. This is so inspiring. Genuinely, I'm so happy and proud of you. Like I said, I remember you joining the program like it was yesterday, and I know it's easy for me to say now, but truly, I always knew you would have everything you wanted and more with your conviction, with your mindset, with your work ethic. So yeah, thank you so much for joining us.
And thank you, thank you. 'Cause I feel like the biggest moment is like, I wouldn't have gotten into sales if it wasn't for this community to step into. So I think that's my biggest thank you to you, creating this community where it's girls kind of gunning for the life that they want. If it wasn't for the community, I literally wouldn't be here. So like, that's my biggest thank you to you.
I appreciate it. Girls, I hope you have enjoyed watching this. I think this is such an incredible story and so many actionable tips and advice were shared in this case study. So yeah, if you want to follow in Elena's footsteps, it's going to be a link down below. You can apply to work with me personally within the TFSA. And yeah, we'll see where we go from there. See you in the next one. Bye.
