Moving Into My Dream Apartment in my 20s (60th floor)

Good morning! Today is moving day. Let me take a seat and give you the lowdown. So today is moving day. We were not meant to move, moving was not on the cards, but here we are. Our apartment comes up for like renewal next week and we were looking literally like 2 weeks ago, just having a casual look as you do, and we found such a nice apartment. It's in the city so it's different to here, this is like very the neighborhood, parks right next door, whereas this next one we're moving to is one both me and my boyfriend have never done before, which is like in the city, skyline view, like very sexy city vibes, you know? And I'm so excited. So today we're moving. It's chaos. The movers come tomorrow, but I really wanted to pack up my own belongings, you know? I don't know how you feel about that, but strangers coming into my house, like going through all my things, Like, they literally said, you can leave your house exactly as it is and we'll do it all. And I'm thinking, no thank you, I'll take all my stuff and then you come and get the big stuff. So that's what we're doing today. And yeah, I want to take you guys along with me for a crazy, crazy day. Let me pop you up here. But an exciting one. I've got my big blue bags. I've already filled up 2 suitcases. So I'm going to try and pack as much as possible, and then we're just going to keep on doing trips back and forth because it's literally only 15 minutes away. That's the thing about Dubai, you can literally travel like 15 minutes, but it's completely different. Um, so I'm so excited. So yeah, I'll bring you with me, see what the day brings us. I'll do an apartment tour when we get there too. And yeah, I hope you enjoy my moving vlog. Okay, I'm hoping that light's fine. It's hard to tell here. So now I'm packing up my bags and things, and I've done half of my wardrobe. And I'm just waiting for more big bags to come so I can do the rest. But yeah, yesterday I actually had a call with an interior designer. So I wasn't going to do an interior designer for this apartment because there's no need, like, it's not a lifelong home. We'll probably be in there for like a year and then, um, that's it. But I have good taste, but I don't have vision. Like, I wouldn't know where to put an armchair here or a sofa there or how big to get get the rug or what color for the rug. Like, I'm not very good at that. So I found this lady on Instagram and she did 1-hour-long sessions. So I basically put together a Pinterest board and I sent her that pin. Like, I did a Loom video— classic salesgirl— I did a Loom video of like the whole Pinterest board, current pictures of like furniture we have here that we want to keep, and like the vision. And then we did like an hour-long call where she told me exactly what to do, where to put it, and she's actually now creating me a vision board of all the pieces, like certain artwork and things that I just wouldn't know like what to buy and what colours, and she's putting that together and I just thought that was so cool. And she— it wasn't super expensive like, or anything like that, yeah, it was super affordable actually, and I just think that's so cool, like If any of you are moving houses or moving apartments and you just want it to be special, but you don't know how, like me, find someone online. I can even link her below. She was called Harriet. She was great. Really, really knowledgeable. She got my taste. She was from the UK, so she just got my vibe, I think. But yeah, so I had a call with her yesterday and I'm feeling really positive because what I tend to do is I buy things. Like spur of the moment, and then I end up spending more money because I'm like, oh no, I don't like that chest of drawers, now I don't like that desk, and then that costs more. So this was like— this made so much sense. So yeah, I'm gonna start decorating my apartment. Maybe I'll do another vlog for that, who knows? I'm not the best with the vlogs, but I'm getting better. I'm trying to get a little bit better when I can pick up my camera. I honestly just never think to pick up my camera, like it's not something that's normal to me. But let me show you, this is my old view. One sec, let me see if you can see. We're saying goodbye to— I've actually never swum in that pool once. Classic me, never. I always see people sunbathing outside and I'm like, what do you do for work? Probably in high ticket sales. Yeah, I never, I never think to do that. But yeah, I'm gonna finish packing up the things and then I think we're gonna take our first car to the apartment. It's quite early right now, my brain's frazzled. Um, so yeah, come with me and I'll show you the apartment. Okay, we've just picked up the keys and I'm gonna give you a quick tour before all the furniture comes tomorrow and it's kind of chaotic. So we have First washroom here. This is our living room, dining room situation, and we have a gorge view of the Burj and just a really nice city view, and then a balcony as well because I thought it's good to have some fresh air if we can get it. So yeah, I have grand plans now I've had my interior designer. And then we have the kitchen, and I think it's quite rare to have an enclosed kitchen like this in Dubai. So yeah, this is super cool. And this apartment has never been used. It's literally just been built. We have office number 1, and there's also laundry. Then we have a bathroom, shower. My office. So there's all closets here for storage. And then this is going to be where the magic happens. Stunning view. I am so excited to decorate this. You have no idea. And then we've got my bathroom. I'll just put my stuff there. And then we have the master bedroom. Another room, spare room. We're thinking about making this a studio so I can film content, or my mum also wants this to be her bedroom. So I think we will— can I zoom out? I'm not very good at this. I think we will see, maybe make it a hybrid. And then last but not least, the master bedroom. This is going to be my wardrobe. There's so much space, guys. I'm so happy. My wardrobe in the old place, I haven't even shown you. It's not even worth it. like it was so bad. Hi, we have the master bathroom. We have a bath. I'm so happy. And then the bedroom with a view. Stunning. Like, this apartment, the views— because we have sea view and we have city view, which is like insane. And yeah, I just feel like this is gonna be a new era. Like, I am so genuinely excited. I just feel something's in the air. And every time I have moved apartments— like, I'm not even like BSing you— every time I've moved apartments, I've tripled my net worth, if you will. Tripled my income, tripled everything. I was actually reflecting on this the other day, I didn't even realize it, but I calculated every time I've moved apartments, which has been 3 times. Yeah, 3 times. And it's happened every single time. So things are about to happen and I am so excited. And yeah, the content we can get here, just the happiness and the peace. If you know me, You know I am such a homebody. I spend 80% of my time at home through choice. People think I'm crazy. People think I'm a recluse, but I love being in a really cozy, nice environment and this is it. So that is my apartment. So we're going to go and get more stuff and just bring it because my idea is it'll be chaos tomorrow and then Sunday, I actually have a live training, which I should actually mention right now. It's the same day, it's just evening, obviously, as you can see. We've basically just been taking as much stuff as possible, like clothes and things like that, so we can unpack. So really, the movers just need to bring like furniture and other bits and pieces. So like I said, tomorrow evening and then Sunday we can just have a really chill time. I've also got a bunch of incense. Like, how do people travel these? They've got no lids on, so this is what I thought to do, bring them in the car. I think that's the best thing for now. But yeah, oh my goodness, I am so tired, and the movers are coming at 9:00 AM tomorrow. Now, I go to bed quite late because my team, half of them work US time zone. I'm in Dubai. Dubai's one of the best time zones, and obviously my girls, like, we have a lot of girls in the program who are US as well. Um, so I go to bed late and wake up late. So a 9 AM start, I'm not gonna lie, it's gonna be very difficult, but I've gotta be done. Gotta do what I gotta do, and then at least we're in and there's nothing left to do. So I'm excited for that. But yeah, I thought I would check in. The traffic is crazy. I can't believe it. It's like 8:30 PM or 9 PM right now, and it's— we're in standstill traffic in Dubai. Which is kind of crazy. I never usually leave the house at this time. I'm usually at home. Um, but yeah, that's it from me. Hello, hello! I am now unpacking my bathroom. I thought I was a minimalist, but I've just got baskets and baskets of stuff. It's kind of crazy. A basket of face masks. I don't know who else is on these, but these are like Botox I've never had Botox, not yet, but these are like Botox in a face mask. I'd highly recommend. Genuinely so lucky to be in an apartment like this. Like, we— I didn't even think, and I don't mean to sound in a certain way, but if you know me, you know I don't mean for it to come out in a certain way anyway. But like, I saw this apartment and it wasn't like it was in my price range. I didn't even think, it just happened. Or like, I ordered the curtains or my new sofa coming. I didn't even think, because that's the freedom that not having to think about money and make all your decisions about— on based on money does. Like, it just gives you full peace. Like, instead of trying to pack up my whole apartment and move everything, me and my boyfriend, we just got movers. Like, we didn't even think. And I'm not talking about like just getting on a PJ or anything like that, that's different. I'm talking about just the normal things in life, being able to move apartments, being able to have a better inspiring, a more inspiring space, being able to buy back your time. Like these things I don't take for granted, um, and I feel incredibly lucky to be able to be in this situation. Me 3 years ago, if you know my story, I— if a bill came out that was £50 more than it was meant to, I'd be freaking out. Like, I feel so incredibly lucky to have worked so hard to be in a position where this is now my life and I can live in a place like this and buy the things I want and the silly candles and whatnot and not think twice because Because those things make me happy. And I feel so incredibly lucky that I can now help women do the same. So yeah, I'm just feeling super grateful. This apartment is beyond words. I'm so happy. This is the perfect space for me for my next chapter. This year we've been doing so much behind the scenes and one day I'll be able to share everything with you. It's just not the right time. Time now, but so much behind the scenes to like the work, the effort, the time, the team. Like there is so much in the backend happening right now to get the TFSA to where it needs to be to help so many women, not tens of thousands. You know, we always say true to the self. We want to help stay true to ourselves, right? And help the right women. But help the right women achieve their goals and live their life like this or however they want to live, but where they don't have to worry about money, where they can live freely, where they're not in scarcity, and to achieve similar to what I've done. It is my absolute mission, it is my absolute passion, and there is so much going on behind the scenes to get us there. And this next year Is going to be incredible, and one day I will fill you in on everything. Um, now it's just not the time, but one day I will, and I cannot wait. Hey guys, so everyone has now left and I've just had a parcel arrive. I love this shop. It's like, for the UK people, it's It's like having a Selfridges but with 2-hour delivery. It's insane. So I thought for the new house I would get something nice to make it cozy because it feels so cozy in here. I'll show you the living room in a moment. We are actually going to get a new sofa, we're gonna get a rug, we're gonna get like new bits, but we've literally just brought everything over from our other house, and honestly, everything looks fine. There's no need to get new things, really. I just want to. Um, yeah, like, this is like— it all comes in luxury, uh, luxury wrapping paper. It's so cool. And basically, I ordered— drum roll, drum roll, drum roll— My favorite candle. But the smell— this is a UK brand, if you know, you know. I don't think you can get this in the US. I get the sea salt. The smell of this is like fresh, uh, cotton, fresh air smell, the sea. Like, it's So, so good. I'm gonna light this now. And then another thing I thought I would treat myself is to some new pajamas. I love Skims. I don't know a girl who doesn't love Skims. So I won't do the box away yet because I just want to make sure like they fit and they're comfy. But if you know me, you know I am like pajama Obsessed. Like, I always— if I'm feeling down, just get some new pyjamas. Like, that's my vibe. And now we have a bubble bath here as well. Oh my goodness, like, I can't tell you how excited I am. I think I showed you my office. If I didn't, I will cut this clip out because I've already showed you. But yeah, immaculate. Like, literally Immaculate. But I think I'm going to bring this vlog to a close. Short but sweet. I have loved sharing my move with you, and yeah, I'm super, super excited for what's to come.
