Hello. Hello. And you all are in for a treat. I know that this has been talked about a lot by me and I really have prayed a lot about this because I think that there's many of you who love the Enneagram. And, you know, you've even become like, geeking out on it. And I see you because you're screenshotting some of my stuff. You're screenshotting all those other beautiful Enneagram people out there that, you know, give you the information. But you've heard me say so many times on this podcast that information doesn't equal transformation. And so my zone when it comes to the Enneagram is really teaching you how to integrate this into your life. Your businesses, your parenting, your relationships, all things. I use this framework every single day in every aspect of my life so that I don't fly off the edge of the cliff, because I easily could do that. And many of my clients that come to me feel the same way. They like the Enneagram. They understand it. A lot of people came to me because, you know, you've heard me say before those all the assessments online are inaccurate 65 to 70% of the time. And even the assessment that I send people to take that rings to be true. So without the correct information, like, you're going the wrong way on your, your soul map. And so today, I am bringing you my very first interview with one of my clients that has gone through the typing session and decided to continue on through the Enneagram experience. And we've been working together, gosh, six months now. She's a beautiful, beautiful wife, mother, business owner, powerhouse. And I consider her a friend. Her name is Donna, and she is such a beautiful soul. She's an Enneagram too. And you're going to hear how much heart and soul the helpers are. But you're also going to hear some of the things that she was struggling with when we first started chatting back in August. And my goodness, one of the most coachable people I've ever met in my life, and somebody who has really not only embraced what I have guided her through, but embodied it. And it has made such an impact in every aspect of her life. And so you guys are in for a treat. You're going to hear from my beautiful enneagram2, Ms. Donna. And even if you're not an Enneagram too, chances are you love one, you lead one, you parent one, you might be married to one, you might be in love with one, I don't know. But twos are the greatest connectors on the Enneagram. They have a heart of service pretty much in everything they do. The Twos are also the most compassionate and empathetic on the Enneagram. They fall into the heart triad. So they're motivated by a form of significance. And for the two, their deep rooted motivation is that their worth and their lovability comes from what they do for others. Now, there's an unhealthy part to that, and then there's that beautiful, compassionate, service driven part of that. And like you've heard me say before, usually the same superpower we have becomes the wrecking ball when it's coming from fear, insecurity, doubt, unworthiness, shame, guilt, or ego. And it becomes the superpower when it is coming from compassion, love, confidence, strength, all those beautiful love, service and grace. And miss Donna, my beautiful Enneagram too, has embodied all of that today. And with that, there were some challenges along the way because, you know, when we start and operate our lives with certain conditioning, and then we condition the people around us to accept that when we start to change things up, it disrupts things from time to time. And you're going to hear how this beautiful powerhouse has navigated that the last six months. Hi, Miss Donna.
Hello. Hello.
Oh, I'm so excited to chat with you. You're one of my favorite people in the world.
Oh, thank you. Thank you so much. And thank you for this opportunity to come on and share this amazing experience and this journey. It's, you know, and it continues. But I.
You know, I'm so excited about it and I appreciate you and what you do and just everything about this tool that we use.
Yeah, that's beautiful. I know that you found me because I think I was speaking to one of the network marketing teams in your company. Right. And one of your. Your leaders brought me to talk to all of you. Isn't that. Is that how we met?
Actually, I met you through. Yeah. One of my business leaders, she was speaking highly of you, of course, and she's like, you have to try this. It's, like, amazing. And I always, you know, I'm always open to this kind of thing, you know, personality and, you know, just learning more about yourself and wanting to grow. So. So I said, oh, let me, you know, do the typing session. And that was the first step.
So in the typing session, one of the questions you remember may or may not remember me asking. It's the very first question I ask, and it's, what do you believe isn't working or going as well as you would like it to in your life? And do you. Can you remember back to Aug, to where you were at? What. I mean, you live a beautiful life, and there were some things that weren't going as well as you would want. Do you remember what you told me?
I don't probably remember exactly what that was. I remember my intention for even signing up.
Was to move forward in my business, but I quickly learned that I wasn't going to be doing that anytime soon, that it was really.
Turning around to be more about me at that moment. And that was kind of surprising because I was just like, I want to grow my business and I want to go to the next level. And, no, not yet. You know, so that was. That was. I wasn't ready for that. You know, I was kind of shocked with that because I. I didn't realize all those things until I. Till I realized them.
And it's. It's interesting that you say that because a lot of people do come to me for business strategy, because, I mean, I know I have, and we talk business as well in our. In our sessions, but all the greatest strategy that I have that I could offer you in the world won't mean a hill of beans if we're tripping over some of this clutter that we've shoved under the rug. Right. And I mean, I'm not going to give a spoiler alert here, but we got some good news with the business, too, along the journey. And it's sustainable because she was committed to diving into really where the issue was. Right. So what was your first aha moment, Whether it was in the typing session or when you said, okay, I want to dive a little deeper to this. What do you remember being your first, like, oh, crap, okay, we're going here.
Well, I remember, I think it was the first session, and I didn't know, of course, what to expect as far as, you know, you ask, you take the test, and then you, you know, you scheduled your meeting with you. And so I just figured I was going to get results and, you know, what have you. But I didn't realize how deep you go into, you know, asking questions that I was like, you know, what does that matter? But now I know what. Why it mattered. And.
So I think it was on the end of the first session after me kind of opening up about certain things personally, things that were going on in my life, things, you know, with my adult children and past relationship and my first marriage, etc. And you suggested, well, you asked me the question about, have you ever read this book Codependent no More? And I was like, no. And you said, I suggest you read that. And so as soon as we, you know, disconnected, I went and downloaded on Audible and I started listening, and I was like, oh, my goodness, this is me. This book was written for me. So that was my first aha moment. I did not. I've heard the word. I knew, you know, I mean, I was. I was. My first marriage. I was married to a compulsive gambler. So, you know. You know, I know I knew a lot about enabling and the words and all that stuff, but, no, I didn't realize that was me. And so that was like, the first step of, like, wow, like, I have a lot of work to do. This isn't like, you know, it was just like, I was. I was amazed, but I was also, like, enthralled with, like, wow. It made it immediately. It made me start feeling good. And even though it was really difficult, I knew I had to keep going. I knew if I stopped, I was going to be in trouble. I had stopped before in my life.
Hmm. I love that you brought this up, because one of the things that two specifically can fall into that trap of is codependency, because you know, that. That deep motive to be of service to others because they believe their worth, identity, acceptance is in that. And so a lot of times twos can end up with active addicts or even narcissistic behaviors in a partner or things like that, because one can't be there without the other. Like, you need the enabler for it to remain active. And I love what you said. That, like, it wasn't easy to hear. It never is. It's way easier to play a victim to all of it. But nothing changes when we do that. And So I remember you telling me like you had that on repeat, that book on audible a couple times.
I've read, I've listened to it like probably now about four times. And I have recommended it to I know many.
Yeah, it's. I remember the first time I read it was 20 years ago. And I'd heard the phrase before, but in, in my eyes I'm like codependent. I'm not codependent. I don't need anybody. Right. But it's not that.
Right.
It's. It's where, you know, we slip into these unhealthy patterns that don't serve us and build resentment. And when we have resentment, it's like an avalanche of stuff. That being said, it wasn't just the marriage, the prior marriage that you had codependency stuff in and you realized that you were an over giver. Right? Totally an over giver. And I remember some of the first things that we talked about is you saying no more.
Yes.
Now I know every enneagram2 that is listening right now is going, oh shit. Like that is like painful to even think about saying no. Because one of two things happens. You're afraid somebody's gonna be mad at you and two, you're gonna get a little FOMO because they're gonna go ask somebody else. And if your worth is tied into that, it's going to create like this FOMO for you. But you're gonna realize you have a lot more time and that free time does one of two things. You get to do stuff that you actually wanna do or and you're alone with your own stuff and then you have to deal with them. Because a lot of times as a 2 when we're not our healthiest, we are yes people and do a lot for other people to keep from being with our own feelings. So when you started saying no a lot more, what was that first experience like of being with your own stuff and dealing with yourself?
Well, I remember specifically after I knew that I was going to continue, that one of the things you said, this is your homework.
You said when someone asks you to do something that you say.
Can I get back to you in 24 hours?
And I remember saying, and I remember feeling like I really felt like, oh my goodness, are you kidding me? Like I am that person that if I don't text back in a half a second, I feel like I'm like, oh my gosh, they're gonna think I'm ignorant. Like, it just was not norm. It was just crazy. So that really was Like, I don't know if I'm gonna be able to do that. And in the beginning, it was really difficult. It really was.
You know, sometimes I forgot it sometimes, but I started to really consciously make an effort to not do that, because once I paid attention, I realized how much I did it. It was. It was. It was like, wow. So it got easier and it got where all of a sudden and. And it has been recently. It's not. It's not. It took. It wasn't like, overnight, but just in the last couple of months, I've realized how I've been able to.
Collect all this time for myself. And. And it's been really. It's been really empowering because I don't have that desire to run and help everyone. I mean, I still help people when I want to, you know, because I desire to. But it's a different. It's coming from a different place now. And it's. I feel like, number one, more in control of what I'm doing, and number two, less. Less resentful, you know, if that makes sense. So I'm enjoying the time on my own. And what I'm realizing is, and I don't even know if I've shared this with you, but, like, I'm wondering, like, am I going to, like, become like. Like now that I don't want to do anything with anyone because I'm, like, really loving it.
It's a good thing.
It is. It is.
It's so funny because I know I've shared a lot of experiences I have with my son with you, because he's a two as well. And I gave him the same homework and he wanted to vomit when I said the same thing.
But he also realized how much resentment had built up because he had said yes to so many things too quickly, and it didn't give him the free time that maybe he would want. And we'll get into that in a second. But a two, we've talked about this. When they're growing leans into that healthy four, which is the individualist, which is that seeking what fulfills them, their most authentic self. And that's the beautiful part of growing, is because your worth is not tied into what you do for everyone else. It's embodying who you are, and then you can choose to shine those gifts on to the other people. So you embodying that healthy four, like, every time you start to second guess if you're having too much time for yourself, or am I being selfish for doing that. I want. You want to remind You, I remind my son and every other two like that is you growing. Now other people, that would not be their homework. But for a two that is actually meaning you're growing. And that way, when you do choose to help in the ways that you know doesn't enable and it's because you're choosing to, you actually are way more effective in the way that you show up. And there isn't this expectation of, of maybe something in return because you brought this up. When A2 is operating in a more unhealthy way, you resemble the unhealthy me, which is that unhealthy 8 which can become very bitter and resentful and explosive from time to time. And what I've noticed with two specifically is when they over give and over give. And your spiritual gift also is being able to feel people and reading what people need. But the fine line is, is sometimes you see that and then enable and just swoop in to save the day. Especially if your worth is tied into that. The sweet spot for the two is feeling that having compassion but not enrolling in the that will perpetuate enabling. And one of the things I had you do when you were presented with something that you know to help with because everybody came to Donna because you were the master helper, the thing that I had you ask yourself, is this really mine to do? Correct. How did that feel the first time that you had to ask yourself that and you had to be really radically honest with yourself and say, no, it isn't mine to do. And it's like watching a car crash happen.
Yeah, exactly. And it's.
It was, it wasn't fun, it was really hard and it was.
But every time that like I am trying to like kind of push past my comfort zone to what's not normally what I was doing. Because I know that I want to break that habit or become very aware of my behavior at that point. Like, signing up for something that's not mine is.
One in two things. One thing is that I, you know, I stop in that moment and ask myself, is it, is this mine? Is it not mine? But one of the other things that I'm doing is also.
Realizing and storing it.
Like, wow, how many times have I done this before? Because like that self awareness of like, you know.
It'S just to me that's been really eye opening because it kind of keeps me on track to keep changing and keep pushing like where it's easier to do what I always did. But I'm going to do the new thing because I Know, the new thing is healthier for me.
But when you kind of step back and look back on your life and, hey, I just turned 58 and I got married the first time really young, right out of high school. So, like.
I did this a long time. I was like, this a long time. And, you know, yeah, I got a little better during different periods of my life. But now when I look back, I can see that pattern of my unhealthiness.
You know, when I was in stress.
Yeah, for sure. One of the things that you brought up in this, that you realize that you're doing, you're making decisions that are healthier for you, and that's beautiful. But the other component that you also realized along the way is some of these helping moves that you made really didn't help in the long term. Some of the people that you love very much, like you mentioned your adult children, you've got grandchildren. You know, sometimes when we swoop in to help without letting people learn things, sometimes the hard way.
We stunt their growth. And that, I know, was a big moment for you, too, when you realize that with. When you see patterns getting repeated in your lineage. Right.
Yeah, that was that. That's really true. And I remember and this, I. I always, like, I have these little Tracy isms, you know, because, like, people know, like, how much, like, I just really not only respect, but, like, just I believe in what, what you. How you guide people. So, like, they'll be like, well, what would Tracy say? What would Tracy, you know, like, my husband or, you know, a friend. So. But the point, one of the things and what I was struggling with.
When.
We first started in the midst or in the. In the part of, you know, six months into COVID lockdown, I had my daughter living here with my three beautiful grandkids, post divorce, in the middle of selling a house, but can't get into a new one yet. You know, just all the things.
Yeah.
You know, like, you know, how many more things can you pile up? But, you know, you just deal with it and it's life and everyone has it, so that's okay. That's what we do. But I remember just sharing with you on a regular session, like, and I'm going to you, I'm going to say, like, well, we have this or we have court. And you're like, no, we don't. You don't have that. She does. And that. I still remind myself that to this day because I literally, like, I took on that emotion and that and it was almost like me going through it. Again. And it was. I mean, of course I didn't consciously want to do it. It was extremely stressful, but I didn't even realize I was doing it. I just was like, okay, well, I'm just being a mother, or I'm just being. And until, like, you even, like, opened my eyes or said like, no, you don't. I. And I was like, well, okay, I don't. But I just. That was like, very hard for me. That was really probably one of the hardest things to like, kind of.
Realize my place. And when you said, like, you don't. Sometimes we don't help people by. Not by help. By helping them so swooping in, saving the day, stealing them. Stealing them of their opportunity to develop grit, like you had said, and fight and all the things we need to do to not maybe make the same mistake. These are the reminders I use myself. Because it's not easy when you. It's especially not easy when it's your kids.
No, not at all. It's hard. It's hard to watch my own children in their 20s. I have adult children too, you know, and watch them make mistakes. But you and I both know, with our 50 plus years now on Earth, that some of our greatest blessings came from some of the hardest things we've experienced. And when we kind of swoop in and sort of play God a little bit, we rob them of that. And so I'm so proud of you to watch you navigate that. The other thing that I know are two struggles when I have them kind of like not do that, is you equate that to love. Like, that helping means you love them. And so withholding maybe help when you know you could help, but you know you're robbing them of the process, still has this conflict in your heart. Like, will they think I love them any less?
And.
And I know it's not fun, especially when you've conditioned, maybe some of our children to just, you know, rely on mom to handle shit for you that of course they're not happy the first time we throw up a boundary or say no. However, I know you've already experienced what that looks like on the other side. You're seeing your daughter take charge a little bit more, and her children build that grit as well. So it isn't fun in the beginning, right?
No, it's not fun. And it's.
Yeah, it's messy. It's messy. But the one thing that I keep. Because, let's face it, I went through it, you know, maybe not the circumstances, but, you know, like you said history. You know, when it repeats itself or you don't. You want to break a cycle of, like, something you don't want things like, you don't want your grandkids to go through this or whatever. Well.
I keep that in the forefront when my desire to just run in. And it just either, you know, from.
A standpoint of just fixing it or controlling the situation, because we. We spoke about that.
At one point. And this is another thing that I've learned along the way is examining. And this is not easy.
Mm.
Because it's admitting. It's admitting you're needing something. And so examining your motive for why I'm doing that. And I've. I've tried to create, like, a real habit. Like, if I'm feeling. And we've spoke about this, like, if I'm feeling a certain way with a person or, you know, whatever, just an emotion, you maybe have a disagreement or, like, do you. Do you go and try to get your fix of, like, feeling good or you're wonderful from someone else or from something else? And I have become very aware of that, because I don't want to do that anymore, because I did it. I'm like, wow. I realized all the things I did. I was like, wow.
Well, and I explained this to you, that each enneagram type has that thing that we have this underlying. And we come to it so innocently and so subconsciously that that need to help was a form of manipulation to get the love hits right.
Yeah.
And so innocently. And I just love how you have navigated this and. And that brought some awareness into your marriage, your current marriage. That's beautiful. You have a beautiful marriage. And you also recognized areas in that department where you were doing that as well. How has it impacted your beautiful marriage with your amazing husband, who also did a typing session with me, and he's a nine. He's beautiful.
Yeah. So. And I'm still navigating that, and I'm still learning that because. Well, because he's a nine, you know.
Yeah.
If you know what a nine is, you know, so. But it has. It's been. It's been a game changer, you know, because.
And I. You know, I never realized this, but I know me say, communicating with him.
I learned this now that a two. You know.
A certain tone, like, if you hear a certain tone, it doesn't matter the words, but the way it's presented to you can really cause you to be defensive. And I was always being accused of being defensive, you know, in, you know, not with certain situations or whatever. Like. And so.
I was also said to be oversensitive. And that was been my whole life. You're oversensitive, you're hypersensitive, whatever. But learning one of the key changes or one of the game changers was learning what he is and understanding where he comes from. Now, okay, I know where I come from. I know when I'm in stress, I get a little defensive. So I know all the things about the two. But learning where he was coming from, I don't 90% of the time now because I understand that his. His main focus is to help and to fix things and to whatever. So he just reacts with trying to fix the situation. So his tone might be, you know, a little off because he's trying to fix it. And so like that just knowing all these little things and these little helping, like, tidbits have changed the whole, like.
Connection because I don't get defensive anymore. I don't, like.
I just don't feel that same, you know, shutdown that I used to. And so we can kind of. I know where he's coming from. He knows where I'm coming from. He knows I need hugs. I know he needs space. You know, like all the things.
It's beautiful. And it's been so like, lovely to watch the two of you navigate this and dance, be in the enneagram, dance with each other where you like where things used to feel so damn personal.
You realize that they aren't. And it doesn't mean sometimes it doesn't hurt any less or sting. Doesn't sting. I mean, we're human beings. We're gonna take a little dagger from time to time that lands in a way we don't want it to. But when we can understand, like you said about what his motive is behind everything that he does is to keep the peace and fix a situation like immediate damage control. And I mean, sometimes it impedes on your helperness too. Right?
Yes.
Right. So I love watching you guys. So ironically, you came to me because you wanted to next level your business. Well, a few months into this, when you really started actively operating and doing this in all areas of your life, because you also realized in your business. This is why, like, when I'm working with people in business, there's patterns here that show up in all areas of your life. So I knew there was codependency going on at home in your relationships. It's going to be in your business too, especially in the network marketing space, which you're in. I know because I have a lot of experience there. And because you had been so diligently working on this in your life in general, what happened in your business in a few months?
Well, it was like, oh my gosh, I remember coming to you and saying like, so and truly clueless. Because although I listen to you, like, I still, you know, I'm also along this way, I mean, gaining confidence and.
Starting to believe in myself more, you know, because again, I don't know, it was just something that when you're busy doing things for everyone else, you really don't give yourself. You don't invest in yourself. And this was probably the. One of the first things in my entire life that I ever invested in myself is working with people. And so.
My business started growing. And you know, I mean, I had. I've had consistency in my business.
But one of the coolest things, I mean, of course the. It grew in its.
You know, volume of clients. But what I. What was the coolest thing? And you told me this after I said it is like I am attracting a different type of client. And that has been the biggest, like, shocker to me because not that I didn't attract good clients before, but it's just. It's amazing how when you show up differently, you just attract differently. And not that it's better or, you know, but it's just different.
Well, you can leverage people more effectively and you do attract people that have more confidence that are coachable because you are.
I feel like my actual. So I also probably hero coached a lot in the beginning when I was a baby coach. And so.
I don't do that. But I also find that my job or my, you know, it's just much easier all the way around because of.
Because that. I guess I have boundaries now that I really never had. I had very little boundaries in my life, which, you know, now I'm like, wow, I can't imagine my life without boundaries. You know, I'm still learning and I'm still growing and I don't think that it will ever.
No, until our, until our time on earth is done. That. That's a process. So.
But. But it's. It's really cool because I'm excited about it now. It's like, okay, I feel like, yeah, I could take it to the next level. I'm real close to the next level. And what happened was it happened without me, like, stressing about, just happened organically. And I remember, you know, us talking about it like. And this is the cool part about the enneagram with business or we're just knowing you, you know, but because I, I am not motivated by certain things. I'm not motivated by goals. Like in the significance. Yeah, incentives and oh, if you're gonna get this, if you do this, that actually stresses me out and makes me like. But I am motivated by just helping people. So I've been able to kind of say, okay, well.
I'm just going to do it the way I can do it. I'm not going to sign up for that little incentive thing here and put my name on it because it's just, I'm going to just do it.
How I need to do it. And I remember you telling me once you it's going to happen anyway, the results will be the same. It's just you're going to go down a different road to get there than maybe a three or, you know, like. And so I've learned that and I've given myself grace and not put pressure on myself to be somebody I'm not, you know, because it's hard when you're working with like a team. You want to be a team player and you got this person who's like, rah, rah. And you're like, nah, I just want to help a couple of people, you know. And now I realize that I can be me and I don't have to, you know, apologize for that or feel insignificant because I'm not the goal getter.
Well, and here's the best part is when, especially when you're working amongst a team, it is actually more effective to have a more diverse enneagram group than all threes charging for, you know, a trip, an incentive, a rank, advancement, whatever. So I love the fact that you have embodied the gift of the two in your business and you have gotten there a different way than maybe a three would or an eight would or a one or any of the other types. But it's in your zone of genius where you have the most confidence and confidence and enthusiasm is what people are drawn to, especially in that space. The other thing that you are doing by using boundaries in your business is creating strong leaders and not lazy leadership. When we enable and handhold too much or over help or over give, we create lazy leadership. And just like with our children, they're going to do what we do, they're not going to do what we say to do, they're going to do what we actually do. And same thing goes in business. So because you're showing up different, you are attracting different kinds of people and yeah, you're getting the results without even trying. And how fun is that?
It's really cool. It really is. Because it's like, surprise. Like, when I think back even six months or eight months, it just seems so unattainable. But yet I was in such a different place. I mean, it was like being here, like, just being on the other side of the country. Yeah, it really was so much.
You have so much. It's crazy.
And it feels so, so good. It really feels good. It's so freeing and, like, liberating.
And here's the thing, like, you have experienced in the last six months that we've worked together, a lot of stuff has happened in your life in the last six months, and it doesn't have to take you out or have the emotional charge. You have that confidence. And the framework of the Enneagram kind of keeps you on your path of navigating that with grace, with composure, with authenticity. And it's been beautiful to watch. What is the number one blind spot that you had before that maybe you were oblivious to, that you noticed almost all the time now?
I think.
I think one of the things that I.
Noticed that I was. What I spoke about before was my motive behind the things I did.
I had to forgive myself for. Like, because it almost makes you sometimes feel like, was I being a phony? But I wasn't, you know, but in helping or just being kind of up in everyone's business, even if they didn't ask you to, was like, something I didn't realize I was doing. Almost probably to the point where, you know, people will probably roll their eyes or whatever, but, like, I don't do that any. I've kind of. I've removed myself from doing that. And I sometimes wonder if either people think. But I don't really care anymore because I don't have that.
I don't. I'm not tied into what people feel about me anymore, what they think. And I'm not saying that disrespectfully. I'm just saying my entire, like, worth was tied into if someone was, like, thought I was a nice person or, you know, what have you. And so to know. To not have that anymore hanging over my head. But I know I didn't realize that was my blind spot, that I kind of put myself where I didn't belong. A lot. Very embarrassing. Like, when you look back, you're like.
Okay, you know, what do I say when you say that? What are you supposed to do for yourself? Grace.
Empathy and grace and compassion. And I have. And I have learned that I have.
Have.
I have. Totally. So I forgive all the things that I've done, and I just tried to do better.
And you are. You are doing it so elegantly.
You are literally one of my favorite people to watch navigate life. And you're proof that it doesn't matter what age you are, it's never too late. That being said, why do you think people listening should book a session? Whether it's just typing or going down, the whole Enneagram experience like we have? Why do you think they should do that?
Well, I mean it. To me, it has been.
A game changer, a life changer, to understand.
The motives behind what you do. Like, most people, you know, and even myself before, you know, you kind of look at your behavior and that's all you focus on. When it's so much more than that and so understanding that it almost feels like you get, like, a new set of eyes. How you view the world, how you view yourself, your life, your spouse, your kids. It's like, whoa. You know, that's what I feel has been the changing. The changing force. Because not only, like, is it in the big things that I use, the things that I've learned with you, but it's in the little things, and it's changed my whole demeanor. Like, just. This is a quick example this morning, okay? So I'm all excited, you know, I'm, like, doing the recording with Tracy, and I'm, you know, all psyched. Well, my Internet's out, okay? So normally. And when I say out, I mean out dead. You know, But I knew it was working, but the router wasn't. So I am like, normally, the old patterns would have been to, you know, be freaking out and to, you know, like, just focus on what was not working. And I'm like, okay, we'll work this out. And I just. I worked on it, and I got it working and, you know, straightened out. And I was so proud of myself because I didn't go where I used to go. And.
Just physically, the stress that you don't experience anymore is awesome. But just even emotionally, I was like, wow, that's really cool, because it was a big day for me. I was all excited and figured something could happen. I wasn't planning on it, but that little example is how now I deal with bigger things in my life that, look, life doesn't stop. Someday I will share the stuff that has gone around my little world like everyone else has. You don't have to check out. And that's what the Enneagram has helped me with. And I think so many people now need something more, you know, because things are a little bit, you know, crazy out there. And so it's really helped me stay grounded, make me feel good about myself. And then I think you show up different. It's just a ripple effect, you know, just all the way around. It's been. It's been wonderful. And I think that's what. That's what other people I've recommended. You know, I mean, I've referred some people to you, and I've never had one person come back and say, why did you do that? They're like, oh, my gosh, this is the best. Like, they, like, they love you. And so, because you don't know what you don't know, and once you get into this, it's like, wow. And it's not easy. It's not easy, but it is so worth it.
Well, my love, I have been so thrilled working with you. Whenever I see you pop up on my schedule, I get very, very excited because I know I'm going to leave better than I started because of you in my life as well. And you make what I do that much more enjoyable. So, Donna, thank you for being so open and transparent with everybody here today. Means the world to me.
Oh, thank you so much for what you do, and thank you for being a friend.
