Let's do this thing.
Hello. You have often heard the phrase, teamwork makes the dream work. And there's no I in team. Now, that being said, like, those are really beautiful, right? And it's like, yeah, totally. And we can kind of even put that on our vision board and all the things. But the reality of that is when you are working with other people, it gets a little challenging. When people aren't maybe wired like you, they have different things going on in their life. You know, there's all these different kinds of variables that come into play when we are more than just a party of one in our businesses and in our leadership and teams and organizations and all of those things. A lot of my time is spent working with teams and organizations. I am obsessed with teams. I am obsessed with any kind of collaborative, kind of collective. That being said, I'm also really a challenge in those kind of situations in the past at least. And this is where a lot of the disconnect may be happening within your team, within your organization, or if you're like me, you may believe, like, if it's to be, it's up to me, right? That's how I've operated most of my life. Or if you're afraid to ask for help or it's too vulnerable to work with other people. The fact of the matter is, is if you're listening right now and you are an entrepreneur or a business owner or anyone for that matter, and this goes for your family legacy too. You know, I look at my family and my. My kids as our home team. Like, this is really effective in, in your home team as well. But back to business, if you want to make the impact that you say you do and, or make the money that you want to and have the freedom and all the things, it is going to require you to work with other people. It really, really is. And that's not easy for me either. And that's why I'm so passionate about this. I am obsessed with sports. I always have been. And if you think about even some movies that you love, you know, anytime there is somebody that is a mentor or a leader or a coach, you know, even in those sports movies where they're like a real shitty team, right? Like the Bad News Bears is like the era I grew up with like terrible team. The movie Rudy, the kid had no talent, right? But when there is a mentor or a leader that sees the person fully at their core, not just what the behavior show, not just even what the talent shows, but who they are to their core, you're able to bring out the best in those people. And your teams are no different. So I'm just coming off of work with a team and with my platinum package. And you know, I know as I go through what the benefits are of using the Enneagram integration in your teams and organizations, you might have questions. I want to inquire about that and I'm here for it. And here's the other thing. Like with coaching and especially in the the realm of Enneagram, there's so many beautiful information teachers out there and there are, right? And we know as well as anybody, we know what we can do in the gym, right? But unless somebody shows us the most effective way to be in the gym, a lot of us feel like it's like beating our head against the wall or we're kicking, you know, we're kicking the can down the street and it doesn't feel like we're getting anywhere. The real beauty and something I take so much pride in is the integration and the framework of the Enneagram in businesses, teams and organizations and individuals and families. So knowing the Enneagram and using the Enneagram are two totally different things. And I will, with so much pride and honor and like hard work, say that there is nobody that can give you and teach you and guide you through the integration of it. So thank you for being here and trusting me with your journey. Now I'm coming off of a beautiful workshop with an incredible team. Two years ago, they just celebrated their two year businessversary. Right? The business and company has only been alive for two years. And a year ago the owner was a one person show. And what she has done in 12 months is scale it beyond multiple seven figures and a team of over seven crazy. And she identified really early on. If I am going to not burn this whole thing down, I need to understand how to communicate with my people. First and foremost, I need to Know who's got the strengths that I need in certain areas, who maybe is weak in other areas where others can fill the gap. Right. I need to know how to articulate and express my vision so that my operations people can take it and execute without a lot of communication, because that can slow the process down. I need to know how to communicate with my people so I don't unintentionally hurt feelings and then reduce productivity and reduce confidence and culture, all those things. And so I applauded her immensely for bringing me in very early on into the team. Most of these people, like, I think the team member that's been there the longest has only been there seven months, right? And then there are seven other people that have come in the meantime, and they're moving very, very fast. And so I came in and worked one on one for 90 minutes with each person. Now, you don't have to do this to be effective. That's like the Holy Grail, right? And I got a look behind the curtain and under the hood of each individual person that was working for her and have worked directly with her in guiding certain people in certain directions, letting her know where she's missing some things in her organization. When she goes to hire, she'll have me kind of be consulted on, like, is this the right fit for the role that I want? And things like that. And there were a few people in the workshop also that have been exposed to the Enneagram through prior companies. In fact, three of them had. And something that they said is, and other organizations that have hired me have also had Enneagram specialists. And I do that in air quotes, come in and give an overview of it. And that's great. Like, it's a beautiful intro, but using this tactical tool in your organization to really move the needle and move it freaking fast requires an integration specialist, right? And so she was really grateful that. And she was an enneagram7. She goes, you know what I loved the most about it? She goes, you gave me the confidence to step into who I am. Because everything I've ever heard about the enneagram7, even in other corporate kind of training around the Enneagram was that sevens were flaky and they couldn't be taken seriously. And instead of really shining our gifts to the world, she goes, I've never been called a visionary in my life. And this is a woman in her 30s. And so what I saw from our one on one session to the workshop, I guess there was maybe two, three months, an executed level of confidence. And she's like their chief sparkle officer. Like she is their media, social media stuff. And what I have witnessed in the last few months is excellence, nothing but excellence. And outside the box thinking in a niche that is typically very boring. All right, so you can see the benefits. And not only that, the confidence that was oozing out of that workshop and everybody feeling like they were seen, heard, understood, and valued. They also recognize that a team leader, a business owner that values their gifts enough to offer them a gift of a specialist to come in and in a safe place where they could speak freely, completely freely, without judgment, that they could share every bit of their heart. And why they're passionate about working in this organization. Because oftentimes you have solid people in your team and in your business and an organization. And because they don't feel like they really have a voice, even though they believe in what you're doing, they will move on to another place. The top three reasons why people stay at a business or an organization isn't necessarily money. That's the third thing that most people will stay for. I mean, we all have to pay the bills and keep a roof over our head and have freedom and choices. You know, money is required. It's like oxygen. We need it. Right? But that isn't the number one reason why people stay. I myself have taken pay cuts in the past before. If I believed in the leader, I believed in the mission, I felt like there was an opportunity of growth. Right. The number one reason why people will stay is they feel like they're part of something special and that their voice and their gifts and talents are heard and that the leader and person that they report to has an open mind and it's more part of a collective instead of a dictatorship. Really? Seriously, culture is that important. And doing something like this within your team and organization. And not only that, like a leader that will expose themselves to their entire team and say, this is who I am. These are my downfalls. I don't always get it right, but I am working not only to improve myself, but improve the way that I communicate with each of you that are very different from me. Like, you will take a bullet for a leader that kind of shows up like that. I know this in my old network marketing business that I've run for almost a decade. Like, the reason people stayed was that they felt seen, heard, understood, and valued for what they bring to the table. Number one reason why people will stay with you. Can you see where this is important? The number two reason why people will stay is there. There's an opportunity for growth. People want to improve. And the type of people you want in your teams and organizations aren't the ones that just punch a clock. You want somebody that is always striving to be their very best and learn and improve, and there's an opportunity to go next level. The reason why turnover is so high a lot of times is for this reason. They feel like they've hit a ceiling. Not pay wise, but growth wise. And Tony Robbins says it best. If you're not growing, you're dying. And if you can imagine you spend more time working than you do actually luxuriating. You want to know that you're going to grow and feel confident every day. And the number three reason is pay. And I guarantee if those top two are on point, the profits are going to soar, the productivity, the scalability of your business will rise, and these people will end up making the money that really makes them feel valued. Okay? So that being said, I want to give you some of the team benefits that come with enneagram integration into your teams, reducing judgment and criticism of others. There is a lot less gossip instead of being triggered by coworkers or like irritated and maybe not so willing or excited about working with the collective. They can recognize where even though this co worker or this peer is different than me, I see where they have skills I don't. And let's like nurture that instead of like nitpick it or feel like I suck. Right? There can be confidence issues. So this is really, really important. What I love about the Enneagram within a team framework is that it does give kind of this roadmap for making sense of team conflict and challenges. Right? Like if, you know, like you have an Enneagram 6 and they create a lot of conflict because they have incessant questioning, let's say. Right? And there's nothing wrong with that. I in the past would have been like, what a pain in the ass sometimes, right? It's like, let's freaking go. Especially with if you're a three team leader and you're like, put the foot on the accelerator and just go. Don't worry about all the questions. Well, if you're leading a six, that will absolutely make them not trust you as a leader and understanding this framework and this roadmap of the Enneagram. If I am a three leader and have somebody in my organization that has a lot of questions, instead of assuming they're trying to slow the ship down or they don't trust you, understanding instead that they have the biggest Fear of being blindsided. And they want to know worst case scenario. And the more that they have certainty, the more that they can buy into your vision, your mission. And then once a six is trust, trusting the situation. They're the best people to have work for you because they keep you out of a lot of trouble. They see things you don't, and they have plans for anything that should go wrong. But on the front end, you'll have to understand that their need for certainty kind of can slow things down from time to time, but it is, for the long game, beneficial. And when you can see this and understand this roadmap, instead of just like dismissing that beautiful associate or peer or team leader, you can honor who they are and be like, I understand. I'm here for all your questions. Ask away. I want to make sure that you feel comfortable and safe so that you can be exactly what I know is in you. I want you to shine your light so bright. And so if you have questions, fire away. Can you see how that can change the whole culture and the performance that you will get out of this person? Absolutely. So this is why I'm obsessed with the Enneagram, because it's a roadmap, it's framework. Now, it goes a little deeper than that, but when you kind of can hit on the motive and the fear of every person that works for you, they will feel seen, heard and understood always. This improves working relationships and team productivity. This will also allow for a lot less resistance around business procedures. For somebody like me, who doesn't typically love systems and structure a enneagram. 8. I don't like to feel like I'm controlled, right? You're going to have people like me in your organization, in your team, who feel like, these don't make sense, these are stupid. Understanding the integration of the Enneagram and the framework of it, you'll be able to explain it to all your people where they won't be resistant as much to certain business procedures. And that way you can scale that way if somebody leaves, calls out sick, duplicatable or duplicable, whatever word you like to use more, Right? But when you can have people following a system, this is key. It improves communication while also developing a new language framework for team dynamics. When everybody kind of knows that we're working with the Enneagram and we're using it as a tool and it's not being weaponized, it's not being used against you. And this is something I reiterate over and over and over with all the work I do with teams and leaders. This is not a weapon. This is like, if for it to work, these people need to understand that you're using it to not only better yourself as a communicator with them, but you want to understand how to best and effectively lead them. This is beautiful. Now, what does this do for the organization overall? This decreases. Like I said, the behind the scenes organizational politics. You won't hear so much where I could do a better job. I should just go out and do it on my own. You know how many businesses have been created because, like, there was a team leader that didn't make their people feel seen, heard and understood? And somebody saw like this, like, yeah, the idea was great of this business, but, like, the culture sucks, the communication sucks, like, there's no room for growth and they went out and did it on their own, there'll be a lot less of that. You know what? Like, there's a lot of people that as the world evolves, I mean, 2020 kind of came and blindsided all of us and the old paradigm of how we did, right? And so often, you know, we fear change. You know, if it takes a lot of, like, work to change things, but the market is changing, the way we buy is changing, the way that we meet is changing. I mean, for almost a whole year, everything we did was virtual, right? And out of that we saw where, oh, other changes could be made, but we were kind of forced into it, right? Not really pleasant. Being forced into change is never pleasant. You know, the greatest gifts in my life came through forced change, but I don't recommend it. And so as you are growing as an organization in a business and, you know, you see, you know, you have to be more innovative in certain areas. You have a lot of people in your team that are fearing change. We've always done it this way, or, oh my gosh, they want to, they're going to ruin this, right? You'll get a lot of that unless you know how to communicate with them and express to the people in your collective, especially your leadership teams. If you're like the CEO, where they can be on board for change and actually be excited for it and help you move the needle so much faster. When everybody feels like their voice matters and then it's valued, you will get the very best performance. You will have a lot less people call in. You will have a lot less turnover. Your onboarding process will become more smooth and not as hectic. You will save so much money in the onboarding process. Do you know how much money it takes to rehire and find new people. It's a lot, not just financially, but energetically. And this will reduce that. The Enneagram will also create a framework which enables greater project leadership. When your team leaders within the organization feel empowered and confident in their decision making, there is a lot less micromanagement. That is probably the number one pet peeve that I hear in most corporate kind of jobs. It's the number one reason where I am probably one of the most difficult to lead. If I feel at all that I'm being micromanaged and that the trust isn't there in me to do a beautiful job, then I am not the person for you. That is a big reason why a lot of people leave traditional corporate America. It's why many of you network marketing leaders, your people leave because they feel like, hey, like this is my own kind of thing. Just because you're my upline doesn't mean that I have to do it your way. Right? Micromanagement reduces so drastically when your team leaders feel empowered and confident in their decision making. And the framework of this enneagram in your organization will really allow for that. Building organizational integrity. When we walk our talk and we know how to find harmony even when we have conflict, this will have people do what they say they're going to do. They will do what they say and say what they mean, right? And when we are operating in integrity, there is nothing we can't do. It doesn't mean it's always going to be easy. Conflict will always be part of any kind of situation, any relationship. Conflict isn't a bad thing. Conflict actually is the catalyst for some of our biggest change for the better. Now in the short term, it sucks. It doesn't feel good. It's. Well, I like it because, you know, Enneagram eights eat intensity for breakfast. But most people really don't love conflict. But when we can have this framework in our business that provides a place where people can address conflict and with respect, communicate with each other, you'll have a business and an organization that is filled with an integrity. This will also allow you to develop talent. You know, when you understand how somebody is motivated, you will be able to bring out the best in them. And also understanding how people feel valued for somebody like me. I don't feel valued by recognition, right? But a lot of businesses think all the rah rah and the atta girls or the atta boys is the way to motivate somebody or gifts. Like for some people in your organization, they could give a shit about that. I'm one of those people, right? And when you know what lights them up, the thing that they're motivated by their biggest fear, you'll be able to pull the talent out of your people instead of continuously searching for more talent. How crazy is this? And you're able to promote within a lot easier than to find somebody outside of your business. I was talking to my son. He is a bar manager at a place. And a lot of people want to be bartenders. And they're, they're great. Like I bartended for a long, long time. I frickin love it. I keep joking. I keep telling him he needs to hire me just for one day a week so I can have some fun doing that, even though I don't drink anymore. It's so funny. But he gets a lot of people that want to be bartenders. And I'm like, listen, the best bartenders are the ones you hire from within. The ones that started out maybe as a hostess at the place and then can serve a full dinner service without losing their shit. And when you can recognize and speak to the talent that's already in you, you will develop the most bulletproof leaders in your businesses. Whether it's in a restaurant, a corporate Fortune 500 company, a network marketing team. This is how I built my network marketing team to over 110,000 people. This is also how I made my first million with 82 people. Is exactly this. I found the talent within my organization. Yes, I constantly brought in new people, but not at the rapid pace most people did. I could really work with a smaller few because I recognize talent, because I took the time and used the framework of the Enneagram, whether they knew it or not, to develop talent. And finally, this will allow you to play and have a big role in culture change. Culture is the number one driving force in successful businesses. It is more than ever in 2022, people want to be part of something pretty fucking awesome. And with a country and a world that feels so divided, when we can feel part of something amazing, we will go to the ends of the earth to do it. And if you are leading these people, it is important that you understand how each of them operate. For you to make the impact that I know your business and organization is here to do. And you as an entrepreneur, seriously, my favorite work, I was telling my best friend the other day I could do corporate and team workshops all day long. I am fired up and I can do it a few different ways. I can obviously do it virtually where it's not as Hands on. I don't have to work one on one with everybody in the organization, but I can enneagram type everyone properly and then work with the leader to say, okay, this is who you have in your team. This is what they need. This is what that person needs. That I can absolutely do. I do do these a lot. And the investment isn't as hefty as you may think. Okay. And then there's the platinum where like I am deep diving with every person in your organization and I highly, highly, highly recommend this for, you know, let's say you have a team, right? And then you have maybe five or six key leaders that drive the bottom line for you. Doing the in depth with those people is really, really important. And this is what I usually do with a lot of C suite executive teams is, you know, for the full marketing team or the full sales team, I'll do kind of not as in depth but with the core executive C suite teams or your core drivers in your business. I think this is really, really important. Important to have me kind of deep dive in. And if you watch the show Billions, like I'm kind of the Wendy Rhodes that comes in and reads everybody's mind in such a loving, compassionate, like we're gonna take this and freaking go kind of place. So if you are listening and even if you only have a team of two people, if it's you and two people, this is super valuable because you can make great change and huge strides with even just two people. I mean, I've built a couple million dollar businesses with two people before. I don't recommend it, but you can. And when you know your people, you can get a lot more out of them in all the beautiful ways and they will feel more confident and more empowered in doing so. If you're listening right now and know that this is maybe a gap that you have, or you've hired people and fired people and that you can't find the right people. You're the common denominator. And let me come in and work with you and your organization. This is a G for them too and they will absolutely appreciate it.
