Every week, I will teach you how to get exactly what you want in life by strengthening your emotional intelligence. Using a combination of the Enneagram framework, live life coaching sessions, and real talk from yours truly, it's time to transform yourself into the ultimate leader of your life.
Let's do this thing.
Hello. Hello, you guys. We have made it to 300 episodes, and I am not one that has ever been somebody that celebrates myself. I think that's an enneagram 8 thing, too. It's very vulnerable to say, hey, look at me, look at me. We kind of like to fly under the radar a little bit, but 300 episodes is something I'm really, really freaking proud of. I started this podcast. I launched it on New Year's Eve 2019. And then, of course, 2020 happened. You know, after only a few months in, we went into Covid and how life changed overnight. And I've showed up every week consistently bringing you lots of amazing content and. And helpful tools to integrate into your life, into your business, into your families, all of it. And we have reached a couple hundred thousand downloads. I think it's close to 500,000 episodes, I'm. I'm pretty sure. And in 27 different countries this podcast has been reaching. And what I'm most excited about, honestly, is this last year is where more than half of those downloads have come. So that means you are sharing this episode and getting it in front of people and spreading the word about the things that we talk about here on this podcast. And the name is going to be changing here in the very, very short, future so that you know, when you're searching for the Enneagram, this is where you go to for your integration specialist. When it comes to the Enneagram and all things leadership, personally and professionally, I didn't know what I wanted to talk about today. I'm just filled with so much gratitude that you do spend your time here. What I've learned about doing podcasts, I didn't want to do it. Everybody kept saying, you need to do a podcast, you need to do a podcast. And back in the day when Facebook lives were really popular, I did that right away. I was one of the Original people that was doing Facebook Lives. And I've had Facebook lives receive 50,000 views and things like that. And, you know, for a long, long time, I'm like, who's going to want to listen to what I have to say? And do people really want to hear what I have to say? Even though I had proof that that was happening, where I was going with the podcast was very, very different. And, you know, in regards to the Enneagram, I was even afraid to call it something with the Enneagram. The original podcast was called Becoming Bulletproof, which I'm all about that. And I believe the Enneagram can help us become Bulletproo. I've spent especially the last 10 years understanding the true meaning of that. And for a lot of my life, I believe being bulletproof was like, everyone, I don't need you. You can't hurt me. But that's really. That's not really what that means. Becoming bulletproof meant, and does mean standing on the front line of your life right at the very front of it. Not hiding in the back, not kind of in the squad, but taking charge and being on the front line of your life. And when you are on the front lines, you know, you think about you, law enforcement or military, they're on the front lines every freaking day. And I want you to stand on the front line of your life. But when we do that, hits come and you take the first hit. Leaders do go first, right? And if you're leading your own life, how can you do that from behind? Right? Some of the greatest leadership happens from behind, but not when it comes to your own life, right? So standing on the front line of your life means you're going to take the hits. But becoming bulletproof means is you take the hits and you get back up. Just like, why, you know, law enforcement and military wear bulletproof vests and. And jackets and things like that, you know, but it's. When you're on the front line, you can see everything in front of you. When we kind of hide behind people or places or things or our own shitty beliefs and the things that don't serve us anymore, we actually end up running more scared than if we just took charge and stood at the front end of our life. I'm not saying it's easy or without pain. I'm not. But when we do that, we are able to do what we are called to do. We learn a lot along the way instead of just what we believe is ahead of us, right? And then about. About halfway through the podcast, so maybe around podcast 150, I decided that becoming bulletproof, although I love it and I'm obsessed with what that means in my life, the podcast needed a new name change. And, you know, I always talk about leadership, and I don't just mean in business, in your homes, and in our hearts and in our. In our communities and in our businesses. The formula for strong leadership is rooted in communication and culture. Again, I've used the tool of the Enneagram in becoming Bulletproof, the tool of the Enneagram in the leadership formula. Because I think when we understand ourselves and when we understand people, we understand everything. And when we make and allow people to feel seen, heard, understood, and valued, magic happens. Magic happens. You can communicate with anyone. You can lead anyone, even some of the. The hardest people to lead. If you know how to communicate effectively with them, then you can make some magic happen. And one of the areas that, you know, some of the most downloaded episodes, honestly, were about internal stuff for ourselves and how to effectively lead ourselves and what our inner child. My. My number one downloaded episode was how your inner child has an impact on your business. And I was surprised by that because I think, you know, when it comes to business and things like that, a lot of people don't want to talk about the messy hard work. And I've always been raising my hand and said, you guys, the reason I have the success I do is because I am committed daily. Before I open up a spreadsheet, before I log into a podcast, before I coach a client, my inner work is a priority because anything we put in front of it, we're going to lose anyway. I heard that in recovery. And it's true to this daily reprieve that we have, right? I talk about this all the time. It's. It's when I get a boat, that's going to be the name of it, the daily reprieve, right? Because what we have is a daily reprieve, this work, you know, quote, unquote, I've done the work. Well, if you say I've done the work, you're missing the whole fucking point. Because we don't check the box and say, we've done the work. We do the work and we do it daily. For you to be the ultimate leader in your life, in your homes and in your businesses and personally, you don't stop until you're done. And that means when we're dead, right? We have this daily reprieve, right? We can say, wow, I did another good day of work. And I do that every day. I do A good day of work most days. And it feels really fucking good. And it doesn't mean the next day I stop doing the work. It doesn't mean I work, work on my business every day. It doesn't mean that I don't have fun. And it's always like work, work, work. But I'm always inviting in the thoughts, feelings, memories, emotions that I need to address or heal or find joy and excitement in so that I can step into the calling that is on my life and do some great things in the world in my home. Right? That's what I mean by doing that work every day. And what we have is a daily reprieve that is contingent on the maintenance of your spiritual condition. We a spiritual condition. And for those of you that say I've done the work, your spiritual condition probably hasn't been maintained in quite some time and you're on autopilot. And before you know it, just like anything that we stop doing and we aren't consistent with, we go back to what we have known. And usually what we have known are patterns and habits that don't serve us at one time. They kept us safe, they kept us certain, they maybe even kept you feeling significant. But for you to do what you are called to do, what got you here won't get you there. And so, you know, I've talked a lot about leadership and you know, this inner work and inner child stuff is now becoming more popular. And I see people out of integrity trying to coach on it and like, hey, do a two hour workshop and heal your inner child if you ever see that run, please. You cannot heal your inner child in a two hour workshop. Again, like I said, any of you that have been a parent know that you can't spend two hours with your child and they're done being parented, right? This is also until you're done on earth program. And I think that why that episode was the most downloaded is because people are now realizing, and I think Covid brought a lot of that to the surface when we weren't able to be distracted by as much as we typically are. I think that Covid brought a lot of things to light that maybe you have stuffed for so, so long. And many of you come by it innocently. I did too. I didn't really, really grasp the magnitude of it until I was 40 years old. I had started at 28 years old, kind of diving into my inner child, but I wasn't consistent with her until I turned 40. And just like any relationship or any muscle that we're building. It takes an unconditional commitment and a consistency to the relationship, whether it's to our bodies, to our relationships and to our inner child. And you know, some of the work I do, even with big, huge corporations like Google, like John Deere and many, many, many other beautiful companies and corporations that I do work with, we touch on this a lot. Believe it or not, hi C Suite executives are now raising their hand and seeing the value in this. And I am so honored to be an authority and figure in this. I really, really am. Not because I am a psychologist or a therapist, even though every therapist I have been told or I have seen has told me to go be one. I don't want those kind of rules. But my experience in doing this work daily, every single day for and with myself and with thousands and thousands of other people and my unconditional commitment to those that ask me to guide them on this journey. I honestly, I, I am with you in, in this journey and importance of it and how it has a compound effect on every area of your life. Personally, professionally, internally, externally, in your homes, in your businesses, in your health, in your marriages, in your friendships, all across the board. Now, just doing this work doesn't guarantee everything's easy because I will tell you this, this has been the hardest year of my life and also the very, very best. I have more solid friendships and relationships that see the real vulnerable me. And there have been several friendships I thought would be lifetime, friendships that have exited stage left. And it's been painful and eye opening my part and theirs, all the things that have come with it and the leadership formula when we're leading ourselves has been something that I find very, very important. And why I'm going to be changing the podcast name to something that embodies the Enneagram is because I'm so damn passionate about it. And I know that why most of you come and listen to this podcast is because of the Enneagram and understanding, because you've seen a lot of other Enneagram information teachers out there and there's lots of them. But many of you stumbled upon it because you were told about it or it was this cute, fun online quiz. Then somebody told you, hey, you need to listen to this girl because she talks about it in a way that I've never heard it before. And I really want people that are into the Enneagram to hear it from a different perspective, right from the actual daily integration of it. Again, there's so many beautiful, beautiful information educators on the Enneagram. But if you're like me, and you've done, quote, unquote, some personal development, and you've gone to the events, you've even hired the fricking coaches, but you're not feeling like the needle is moving forward fast enough. Why I'm so passionate about the Enneagram and the integration of it is because I have integrated it and used it in every part of my life every single day for 10 years. And it's why every area of my life is thriving, even through heartbreak and. And hard things. Every area of my health, my parenting, my friendships, my romantic partnership, and my business. All five areas of my life are thriving. And I. Everything has to do with not only my faith. That's number one, but integrating this power tool in my life. And I really want more people to be exposed of the teaching, of the integration of it from somebody who walks that talk every single day, not just personally, but with guiding people like you through that journey. And so, yeah, you can expect, coming in the new year, that there'll be a little shift in the podcast. It'll still be a lot of the same content, Enneagram focused personally and professionally. And, you know, whether that's friendships, romantic relationships, or parenting, and also professionally, whether you're an entrepreneur or somebody that works for somebody, I think you'll find value in all of it. You know, bringing the Enneagram more mainstream to people that follow me has been one of the biggest surprises and greatest gifts of my life. Yesterday I had the honor and privilege to do a team workshop for a smaller company, but somebody that I've been admiring since they came on the scene. And, you know, don't get me wrong, like, working for teams at Google and John Deere and some of these amazing big, huge companies are like, are you kidding me? Like, how did this happen? Like, I am obsessed with doing teams and organizations, but for some reason, yesterday, this was probably a dream vision board client. And, you know, ironically, they're the only podcast I've ever pitched myself to. Not for me to be on, but for them to come on here. And this was well over a year ago. And I remember when they responded back and said, yeah, we need to have, like, what are your metrics on the podcast? And I immediately, of course, sabotage that and didn't respond because I'm like, well, my podcast doesn't have millions of downloads yet. Who am I? Why would they want to come on my show? Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Well, ironically, that same couple, they're sex therapists. And I'll be sharing more about Them because I think they're amazing. They are in a mastermind with a very good friend of mine who also has had me facilitate her mastermind every single year it's been in existence, which I think it's on its fourth year now. And she has trusted me with her biggest asset, which is her people. And so she recommended me to them. And yesterday I was able to do a beautiful workshop with them. And they are Enneagram enthusiasts. They are into it, in fact, so much so that their website had their entire team of eight have their Enneagram type on their website. And I was like, well, shit. I had them take my assessment that I have. You do. And you guys have heard me talk about this for three years now. The Enneagram is great, but those online assessments are inaccurate 65 to 70% of the time. And it's why the only way you could get typed accurately with me was to spend an hour, an hour and a half with me. Well, the good news is, is I have really streamlined what that looks like and also brought you an assessment that is over 95% accurate. So yesterday, you know, I had them, of course, take my assessment, which when you order your Enneagram sole blueprint from me, that customize 75 pages that. That I deliver to you with full integration tools, it is with the assessment that I now use that is 95% accurate. So when I did this team and I saw the results come back, I was like, wow, six out of the eight have been mistyped, which again, 75% of them were mistyped. And I was like, great. This my dream vision board client here. Either they're gonna think, like, I don't know what I'm talking about, or I'm about to blow their freaking mind. And I. I'm so confident in my experience and my expertise and in the integration and understanding and facilitating of the Enneagram that I knew I was about to deliver something absolutely beautiful for these people that are doing beautiful, beautiful, amazing relationship work out in the world. And it went beautiful, and it was amazing. And I remember going to bed last night just feeling so filled up, like my purpose and my passion have collided. You know, it's one thing to be passionate about it when. When we do something we're passionate about, that's really for us, right? And for the over 10 years, I have been using and integrating the Enneagram. The first five years were all about me. I was always super passionate about it, but I didn't really share it with many people, even though I was using it. I wasn't telling anybody I was using it. But that passion was all about me when it became my purpose. And I knew, like, wow, this could really help people. That's when my purpose really became aligned. Six years ago when I started publicly talking about it, coaching on it, and then obviously building a podcast around the Enneagram. But yesterday was like, you know what? I am the authority figure in this space and I feel really, really confident in saying that, you know, and I know Enneagram eights can be full of ego and bravado. And I promise you this is not that I am excellent at what I do. I love what I do, especially with people that are here to make an impact in the fucking world. And I know if you're listening, you know, you have something inside of you that maybe you're not accessing or you're just right on the verge of it. The Enneagram has been a great tool to help me unlock some of that in people. And then obviously, you know, I have a lot more coaching skills and that inner child again, really allowing you to honor who you always have been, heal the parts of you that have been buried for so long so that you can step into that calling that has been on your life where passion and purpose can collide and you can do it for you and for the world. There is nothing better than honoring yourself and being able to use those gifts to honor and impact the world and make a beautiful income doing it. I love what I get to do every day and it's because so many of you have shared the messaging and the this podcast along the way. I'm so grateful for you. I'm so grateful for you. If you've just been kind of been a fly on the wall listening about the Enneagram or you've taken an online assessment but you're not quite sure what that looks like. I really, really do encourage you to give the gift of this to yourself this holiday season or whenever and order your Enneagram Soul blueprint. You can go to the website@tracyomalley.com the work with me section where I have you take my assessment and within a few days you will have your customized for you 75 page Enneagram Soul Blueprint that will allow you to use this tool to navigate all the things in your life. If you want to go a little deeper, you can have 90 minutes with me and you'll get your blueprint plus like a live guided tour on what that looks like, including your tri type, which is amazing and something I've Been talking more and more about and how that shows up. And a lot of that has to do with, like, when you have somebody the same type, it goes deeper than the wings and goes deeper than the subtype. But having information on your tri type, we dive into in those 90 minutes and anything else that you want to talk about on those 90 minutes, it's very, very powerful. I've heard from partners and couples that have done sessions with me, individuals that have done things with me, that it feels like 10 years of therapy in 90 minutes. Again, I'm not a therapist, but there's something so powerful when you feel seen, heard, understood and valued and fully seen. Although it can be scary at times. Like you've been craving that your entire life. So you can go do that. And if you want to go even deeper, I'm pretty stacked in clientele right now. It's amazing. A true testament to the work that we get to do in this lifetime so that we can do what we're meant to do in this world. That's by application only. You can go to traceeomally.com for my private VIP one on one coaching where you have a very loose three months with me. It's honestly, it's usually four plus, just saying. And you can fill out that application. I don't take everyone that applies, especially when I am full. But if, if I feel like we're a good fit and you're really, really ready to do a deep dive into yourself so that you can do what you're called to do, please go do that again. I love the tool of the Enneagram. I will never stop talking about it. Honestly, I see myself doing this until I die. This work is powerful, it's necessary, and I'm just honored that you take your time to listen. For those of you that have worked with me and spent time with me, seriously, I couldn't have done all of this without you. 300 episodes do not happen. If you don't believe in what I am sharing with you and you're not sharing it. If you have loved this podcast, even if this is the first one you're listening to and you found value in it, it would mean the world to me if you took the time to leave a review. I'm a firm believer of whatever you put out into the world, you're going to get back in return. So if you're somebody that has a business or a podcast and you know how important reviews are, in order for us to get in front of the right people, please take the time, whatever you want to come to you, you should probably be out in the world doing. And I do that a lot too. I review a lot of podcasts. It's kind of like Yelp. My daughter, she was telling me around Thanksgiving, she is like this Yelp. There's different tiers to Yelp and she's left over 1200 reviews on Yelp, most of them good. I think there's only been two or three that have been bad. And you know, she keeps putting that out into the world. And if you want some of that greatness to come back to you, please, if you wouldn't mind, it'd mean the world to me to le a review so that we can continue to share this beautiful show with more and more and multiply the impact that we make in this world. I'm so grateful for you. Thank you for 300. It's a huge, huge number. And as always, I'm here to help you become the ultimate leader in your life so that you can step into the calling that you were always designed for and that you can live the life that you have always desired and that you deserve. And until next time, I'm so grateful for you. Wishing you much love and transformation in your life.
