You know, I. I heard the thing about getting into the rooms. I've heard the thing about having mentorship and all of it and all of that is really, really important. I am somebody who loves being in person with people, whether it's one on one coaching or at events and things like that. But if you. If you leave those situations and you don't know how to integrate all the things that you have just collected along the way, sometimes it does more harm than good. And this is a sweet episode to explain the power of integration and how to accelerate all the stuff you've picked up along the way, all the podcasts you've listened to, listened to, the books you've read, the rooms you've gotten in, the mentors you've hired. Now it's time to actually put all of that in action and enjoy this very short and sweet, tell it like it is, loving you where you're at kind of episode. As you roll into the weekend, let's dive in.
Okay, I know you may have heard about the Enneagram or someone told you you need to know all about it. So here you are. But what the hell do you do with it?
Great news.
You are in the right place. Lead with the Enneagram is the show where you will actually learn how to use this incredible growth tool and apply it in all areas of your life, personally and professional. Hi, I'm Tracy and to be honest with you, I was a skeptic of the Enneagram before I started to actually integrate it into my life. In fact, in true enneagram 8 style, I told my therapist to F off when she wanted me to dive into it well over a decade ago. Now that I have more than a decade of experience using the Enneagram and working on myself in my family with those closest to me, building my own bulletproof leadership. Sales teams with one on one clients, couples, leading workshops for top Fortune 100 executives, and speaking to large audiences all across the globe about this powerful tool. I've got the proof and deep understanding of how to help you implement this into your life. Instead of it just being some fun thing you heard about. The Enneagram can be a complex model. But with me as your guide, I will show you how to first lead yourself in a powerful, effective and compassionate way and then help you lead others that way in your life as well. This podcast will have powerful conversations with guests, live typing sessions, as well as solo episodes of breaking down dynamics of the Enneagram and how they impact your life, career and relationships. So now let's dive in.
Well, I am just coming fresh off of a workshop that I did for a mastermind. You know, when you get a group of people together that aren't necessarily working together in the same business or in the same family, but are collectively together to learn about themselves, each other's, the people in their lives, the people that they love, the people that they lead, it's my favorite thing to do, honestly. It's why I do the group workshops for everyone. But one of the things that came very through for everyone, it got very emotional, which is really something cool in the journey with the Enneagram, because there's something about it that makes you feel so seen, so understood and even valued for what you bring to the table. And especially with somebody like me who has been doing this a long, long time. I know, I know when it's going to hit somebody. And this is for every area of your life. You know, integration is where the magic happens. And I think in the personal development land, there's so much focus on information and even getting in the room, which is amazing, right? Like, getting in the room is amazing. But if you leave that room, which a lot of people do, and you have the event or hype hangover, and you are left with the emotions and the emotional hangover and the vulnerability hangover, but you don't necessarily know how to integrate everything that you just experienced or learned, then actually sometimes it can do more harm than good. So I am all about doing those things. Gather the information and listen to the podcast. Get in the fricking rooms for sure. And the real magic happens and the real transformation, personally and professionally happens when you know how to integrate. And I think one of the things that came up in this, this group of very, very high achieving women.
Was their realization that was we are holistic beings. And I think we try so hard to compartmentalize. Like, I'm boss babe here. I'm, you know, you know, CEO dude here, or I'm mom or I'm wife or I'm husband or I'm father. And we're, we're holistic beings. And one of the things that I talk about a lot, and I was one of those two that was like, you know, especially as a Single mom for 15 years, I felt like I was pulled in every direction. And I actually even prided myself.
On being able to wear all the different hats. But you know what happens when we take a hat on? Put it off or take it off, put it on, take it off. Like, it's freaking exhausting. Let me Just tell you. And you might be able to get away with it in your 20s and 30s, but I guarantee in your 40s, 50s, and beyond, you will not energetically, hormonally, all the things, and you will crash and burn. And so the way that I love to explain the Enneagram is it allows you to wear the one hat that you are, where, you know, you don't have to change who you are, you don't have to alter who you are. You might just change how you wear the hat. That's all right. You may just shift the way that you express who you are. That's not changing who you are. And what happens when we do that is we flow more elegantly through all the different parts of our life. Personally, professionally, emotionally, spiritually, financially, as if you're a parent, as a parent, as a, a spouse, as a partner, as a daughter, as a husband, as a. All the things. But the real thing that happens too, when you drink the Enneagram Kool Aid. And this of course, happened at the first part of the workshop, and this happens all the time, which I would have too, back in the day, is we want to know who our people are. Because we have such a profound experience from being seen, heard, understood, valued. It's the beauty of the Enneagram, when taught properly that we want to understand our people. Because if you're understanding, if you're starting to understand yourself that quickly, that, that holistically, especially the people that you love most, the people that you lead very closely, you want to automatically know them fast. And my beautiful friend Lindsay, who brought me in to her mastermind, she made a beautiful point that I make all the time in. To lead effectively, personally and professionally, you must, you must be able to effectively lead yourself and compassionately lead yourself. It's so freaking important. But so often we're like, yeah, yeah, yeah, I got me. I know me. Like, obviously, let me know my people. And when we rush through our self awareness, self acknowledgement and compassionate action process, we miss the point. We really do miss the point because it's really important. And I, I spent my whole life doing that. Let me just understand my people so I know exactly what to do, right? And I missed the whole point. So when I turned 40 years old, I had no idea really how others might receive me or if I had an awareness of how they might receive me. I had zero tolerance if they couldn't vibe with me. And although I could be effective and on paper, make happen, which I know many of you can too.
Not only am I missing the boat on intimacy and connection with people that I could actually learn a lot from people that are different than me.
I also left a lot of money on the table. Let's just be real when it comes to business. If we can't effectively speak or express ourselves in a way that more can receive our gifts, our impact making abilities, then we absolutely will not be able to create transformation, solve the problems that we want want and also make the money we want, call in the love and the support that we want. So starting this journey on leading yourself and understanding yourself is the most important part of the integration process. And I'm going to keep this one short and sweet because you know we're rolling into the weekend. This is so important to understand.
The the best leaders know how to critically think and be emotionally intelligent and lead themselves. And the journey journey that you have with the Enneagram can accelerate what that looks like. And the more that you are in tune with who you are.
And your motives and your fears and your superpowers and your Kryptonite and you can meet that with so much compassion and kindness and grace and love and understanding. You will be able to do that so brilliantly with other people. And you'll notice that it's coming from the most authentic, genuine, serving, heart centered places. And when we can do that in our homes and in our lives and in our businesses, this is where we make the biggest impact. And I know I've watched enough people at taking their last breaths to know that at the end of the day that is what matters most. Making the impact to the people that we meet along our way in this journey called life. The people that we love, the people that we are fortunate enough to be able to lead and guide through this journey of life that I know that you squeezing every bit of juice out of this lifetime starts with you. And you know if you've had a lot of life happen to you like I have and maybe some regrets and some shame tied up, this absolutely can help you break free from those change and use everything that has happened in your life for something absolutely magical for you to start your journey. If you haven't already. Definitely you'll want to go to traceeomalley.com get your Enneagram blueprint. This is where you get typed accurately. 65 to 70% of those online assessments are inaccurate because it doesn't take a lot of stuff that you've been through into consideration. My assessment does. It's over 95% accurate and you'll get your own customized blueprint this is the roadmap and the GPS to help you on your, your soul's journey. And, and to do that in the most authentic, true way for you, not in the way that you might be comparing online or out in the world. If you want to dive deeper, you can do a 90 minute power session with me and this is where we will take that information. You'll still get your blueprint, but then we'll take all that information and go through every compartment of your life. And I can maybe explain how to integrate this a little faster if you want, if you're like me and like to move very quickly through life.
You know, like, like power. All my Enneagram eights, threes and sevens. I know you're like, yeah, sign me up for that. Definitely might want to do that. I also have VIP 101 spots available.
